Zazz Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I think that was the point. If they 100% copy off the game, it might get boring because we will all know what will happen. By tweaking the storyline a bit, like maybe adding in things that were not in the game, they can make the story a bit more broad and add in things that could have happened in the game. They certainly are rewriting the story with an emphasis on "Things are different if we knew then what we know now." Phantom and Trinity showing up super early is an example. Ragna pulling a Nanako with the NO FIGHTING interrupt on Noel and Tsubaki. Best new comic idea or BESTEST new comic idea?
Shadow Draygon Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I keep wanting to make clip comics out of the show but I'll probably use the gags in my abridged series. Also, Ragna went full Azure on Tsubaki:
Shinhwa Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I know that, but I'm saying the way he made it sound was as if he was "I got bored watching this". He wasn't bored though lol. The fight just gave him a bad feeling. ROFL. nice gif XD Those exact words when through my head watching that scene. Poor Noel. So many haters of her (including me kind of 8D) At least the Tsubaki vs Ragna matchup was summed up perfectly in that scene. She clearly couldn't do much. xD Saved that gif btw Shadow, epicness. I doubt Tsubaki can ever defeat Ragna unless it was her in full Izayoi mode vs nerfed Ragna with his right eye, arm and his blazblue sealed.

Volt Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Can Tsubaki defeat anything (Aside from an unarmed Jin) without having to transform into Izayoi?
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 Nope, she technically never wins a single fight. Its because Izayoi is a poor man's Nox and it ain't got shit on the Azure.
LordSpectreX Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 If you haven't got a Nox or a type of Azure, you have to be like Kagura level to be strong. Which Tsubaki most certainly isn't.
mAc Chaos Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Can Tsubaki defeat anything (Aside from an unarmed Jin) without having to transform into Izayoi? She would just be unarmed then. Why would she be able to beat anyone.
Shinhwa Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 If I remember correctly, I don't think Tsubaki used Izayoi in the drama CD in that timeline where she was Jin's assistant (The flashback in this episode practically), where she used bare fists to try to fight against Ragna lol
Volt Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 She would just be unarmed then. Why would she be able to beat anyone. Wielding is different from transforming. I'm talking about the standard Tsubaki from CS before the CP Arcade story, or basically, the Tsubaki we're seeing in the anime.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 Basically Tsubaki without transforming into Izayoi right?
Shinhwa Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Basically Tsubaki without transforming into Izayoi right? Yes. We mean Tsubaki who is "wearing" Izayoi and not Tsubaki who "transforms" into Izayoi.
Zazz Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) I don't expect to see Tsubaki BEING Izayoi in this adaptation since that's a part of Chrono Phantasma But the anime has shown it likes to do things way out of order, so I assume its plausible that it could show up when she gets the black uniform when fighting Jin. At this rate, I expect Arakune to be already captured by Relius to be used to get at Litchi. Edited November 20, 2013 by Zazz

Obviously Izayoi isn't going to make an appearance here since she changes into that form in Chronophantasma WAY later on. Even when she gets the black uniform, she continues to use the "worn" Izayoi and not the transformed Izayoi in CS, so I doubt the full transformed Izayoi will make an appearance here. Arakune... the guy has been left out when he was officially supposed to come out in Episode 1 kind of... =w=;
Volt Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 At this rate, I expect Arakune to be already captured by Relius to be used to get at Litchi. This is the only reasonable possibility. Come to think of it, no one mentioned nothing about him yet. Even Tao and Litchi. And regarding Izayoi appearing before the end of CS arc... Not going to happen, otherwise the Black Tsubaki wouldn't make any sense. Jin actually needs a reason to fight aside from Nissan in CP.
Shinhwa Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 More like Izayoi appearing during CS timeline is impossible =w=;
mAc Chaos Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 arakune is pretty irrelevant at this point carl used to be but then we got relius
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Arakune has always been irrelevant, he basically existed just to give Litchi some motivation. He does not impact the plot at all. So cutting him out isn't really a big deal. I'm kinda surprised we haven't gotten any focus on Bang, Carl, and Litchi tho.
Master Of Chaos Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 This anime needs more of the following: Noel being choked while everyone watches Hazama trolling and making QUALITY faces (We can never have enough of that. Ever) Relius being a parent NIII-SANNNNNNNNN Hakuwin. Just Hakuwin. Would be best if they had him fight Terumi at some point. Anything else I'm missing? Also I have to wonder if Arakune's absence has to be because they would have to animate him fighting (Because why else would he appear other than to attack people) and have no idea how in the name of fuck they would pull that off.
Shinhwa Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 arakune is pretty irrelevant at this point carl used to be but then we got relius Only place Arakune has appeared are the OP and ED XD;; Arakune sucks anyway =w= Arakune has always been irrelevant, he basically existed just to give Litchi some motivation. I am sure he will appear because it's what makes Litchi work hard, and is what makes Litchi make the decision at the end of CS. We need more Nu's moe yandereness to come out and Lambda's cool beauty cuteness to come out owo
mAc Chaos Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 the op has kune crawling with 4 legs like a frog and it just looks weird
Dreize Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Has Valkenhayn done anything cool yet? If so, I may take a look at this anime.
Teutonicknight Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 arakune is pretty irrelevant at this point Pretty much the whole plot is irrelevant at this point, lol. I still want to see kune appear and see some more Litchi and Bang as well.
Zazz Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 arakune is pretty irrelevant at this point back in CT, arakune's relevance was based in that he was pretty much used a plot device to hint at all the mysterious weirdness hidden in the background (the time loops, observers, takamagahara etc.) now that most of those mysteries have been dispelled, he's just sorta . . . there.
