Chaoschao222 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 You'd better be careful where you go from this. Remember, stupid incest conversations are part of what led to the Story thread getting fucked up by the no-fun police.
Narroo Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 INCEST EVERYWHERE. Well, funny you should say that about Tsubaki.

Remember, stupid incest conversations are part of what led to the Story thread getting fucked up by the no-fun police. All I was saying is that the translations make it seem like Jin & Tsubaki are siblings, which would make people think she's related to Ragna. Its just...weird.
LeDom Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 It's just a slight mistake on Funimation's part, really. It's the same as how they use the term ''Archnemesis'' instead of Nox Nyctores, like the game's official translation did. Sure, it means they didn't do much research, but they couldn't just assume it was an affectionate nickname and nothing more.
Justice7541 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Someone please gif Ragna vs Lambda and Jin vs Bang, that was the most hilariously bad thing I've seen in a long time. The part where Ragna blocks the swords = classic. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
InWithTheAshes Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) Your Ragna V. Lambda requests are satiated in this week's gallery (no Jin v. Bang GIFs unfortunately, but you do get to see the former of the two engaging in some light reading)! Also including FAME, Tager's magical hair and some of the most utterly strange faces we've seen since the new opening's Bang shots. Edited December 31, 2013 by InWithTheAshes
Luminos564 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) So things that caught my eye this episode: -Bang's scar is treated the same way as Hazama/Terumi's face and in no two shots will it be the same size. -Ooooh, an exploitable comedy goldmine. -I know most anime eyes can phase through the hair but this is just silly. -Now this, made my day. It's like something you'd see from a Saturday Morning cartoon. Conclusion: the animators were off their rocket this episode. Edited November 13, 2013 by Luminos564
InWithTheAshes Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 It is the most productive thing we have had since episode 2. It's beautiful.
Luminos564 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 It is the most productive thing we have had since episode 2. It's beautiful. Hey, I never said I didn't enjoy it, did I ? Plus it gave me this little gem so I think I'll stick around to see just how much more beautiful it can get.
mAc Chaos Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The eye/hair thing isn't the eye phasing through, it's just meant to represent the hair being thin enough that you can see the eye through the hair strands.
InWithTheAshes Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Hey, I never said I didn't enjoy it, did I ? I know ya didn't. <3~
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 So things that caught my eye this episode: -Now this, made my day. It's like something you'd see from a Saturday Morning cartoon. ..Oh I get it, Childish Killer now the name makes sense.
LionHeartx Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Caught up to the past 2 episodes and wow the animation is so terribly inconsistant. I mean I know it has been since the start but wow episode 6.
Yazumatto Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 4 had few flaws. 5 was fine for the most part. It was 6 that looked wacky as hell, even though the episode itself was decent.

Let me just say the animators truly did a bad job this episode in terms of animating compared to Episode 1 and 2. They either must have been really low on budget or I have no idea. It's surprising they are the same animators who did the cutscenes for Chronophantasma. And for your "this made my day" pics, yeah my reactions were like ._____. is this supposed to be an "Oops" or "O SHIT" scene or a serious murder scene... Instead of a murder scene it looked more like "O SHIT I STABBED HIM" "D:.... CRAP I GOT STABBED" Edited November 14, 2013 by Shinhwa

Luminos564 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Maybe she's got a trauma? Eh, to me it looked more like Jin not really comprehending that a foreign object was being inserted into him. And then it dawned on him that said object did not belong to Niiii-san.
KD-D Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I must say, this series has had some of the greatest QUALITY animation in recent memory.
Shinhwa Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I must say, this series has had some of the greatest QUALITY animation in recent memory. Are you being sarcastic here? XD;;
InWithTheAshes Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 It isn't sarcasm. QUALITY is basically a meme denoting animation being inconsistent/hilariously strange. Is used a lot in the Anime community.
FinalDoomGuy Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 This episode wasn't too bad. Once again though, the actual events don't hold much weight considering that these characters have had pretty much 0 development.
Volt Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The plot of episode 6 was so interesting... Why the better episodes must have such a QUALITY animation. It feels like we have to choose between good plot or good drawing. I don't care how low their budget is, can't someone just look at what the animators are drawing before it's released and say "Yo, that shit's looking wonky dude, you drunk or something?". And did Tsubaki actually bribed someone for information? Nice concept of justice if you ask me.
swordsman09 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 And did Tsubaki actually bribed someone for information? Nice concept of justice if you ask me. Everyone has their own view of Justice. The path isn't easy. I hope Spider Man Makoto will do something cool tomorrow.
Myoro Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 And did Tsubaki actually bribed someone for information? Nice concept of justice if you ask me. When will fruit stand guy be playable? He's clearly the villain behind everything.
