i wonder what will happen when you do dust impossible in xrd with that dynamic camera thing.

Hopefully the 3d effect is only for the video and screenshots

I think it's pretty reasonable to expect it for supers, IKs, and other high-flash animations.

Not sure if this is just me but I'm noticing some slight differences with these character models compared to before.

-Sol's upper torso looks a bit slimmer.

-Ky's ponytail appears to be gone.

Biggest thing I noticed was that Ky's Burst is locked as he gets hit by the Dust Launcher.

Maybe dusts lock bursts now? That'd be pretty rad. It would definitely make them more rewarding to land.

I am talking about the Dust Effect only, for IKs and Supers i don't really care, is only on the Dusts where i find them retarded

Didn't expect a loketest nearly this quick... But yeah, it's probably just to let players road test the basic engine and get their feedback on it. Which is really awesome if that's the case. Shows ASW is committed to getting the "feel" of the game right from as early on as possible and making sure the long-time fans are happy.

Good god though, that HUD needs some work. I've seen a lot worse in other games (*coughsfxtekkencough*) but that's a strong candidate for the least attractive healthbar design in a GG title to date.

from the trailer it looks like they perform some kinda of dust (different animation) then jump up after them with the "cool" new angle.

I just think it looks jarring...I prefer the camera to stay at one angle for a 2D FG. Guess we'll have to see it in action.

5 bucks only Sol and Ky are playable at the loketest.

there's no guard gauge in those pics...

can't say i'd miss it, but eh... it was unique.

oh well, lets wait for some real footage before we go crazy on the analysis

My guess is they just can't burst during that 3D view, but who knows.

Or a comeback mechanic...? Whatever if it is, it looks like something will be there. I don't expect it to be implemented at this loketest though.

if that is the guard gauge, it should start half full like previous games.

i suppose it's possibly the guard gauge since it's a debug screenshot, but unlikely imo. possibly some new mechanic?

That is going to be in the final game for sure but I bet they will let us disable it.

If they are going to have 4 machines to play single player, can we assume that they will have some kind of arcade mode in this loketest?.

They may well hide guard gauge below zero value, to cause less confusion in new players. I think that circular gauge is guard.

I wonder if they're going to have someone other than Sol and Ky playable. I hope so, since playtesting two chars seems a bit pointless. And if there are going to be more chars, they might announce them over these two weeks.

Yeah, I also hope that there is at least one or two other characters playable but I wouldn't put my hopes up on that.
