This would be greatly appreciated even if only Sol and Ky are playable, if only to get a look at how everything is laid out and possibly get a rough idea of how many characters they're planning to include in the final game.

The bloody hands from testament's 5d don't extend his hurtbox and are only a hitbox, not even projectiles collide with them. I'm wondering if Ky's new lightning cross 5d will work the same way

BladeOfJustice7 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I would also like to know if there has been any substantial improvements to Dragon Install, like if Sol still loses ALL of his tension when it ends AND is in increased possibility for being dizzy. Does he still need to simply get knocked down to get taken out of dragon install? What does he look like in Dragon Install now? Dragon Install is a pretty ass super, and if they're going to improve visually what it looks like, they should also improve it's utility beyond #YOLO at the end of a round or to die in style. In my opinion at least.

There are also four other slots with "0806" on it, which I assume means we might find out on the 6th which characters will be there for the loketest? I can't understand all that much else, anything new/interesting?

I'm confuzzed, since +R just -added- a pin launch angle. Also, looks like roll has followups, one of which is Lust Shaker (?!). There's also a new super -- Chroming Rose. Named after a metal band (not a huge surprise on the naming style). EDIT: Also, wtf no forcebreaks. Kinda sad Daisuke removed the Lightning Javelin follow-up after Vapor Thrust, Lightning Sphere, and Lightning Bolt though (from what I can see at least).

Here are the mechanics that stayed the same: - Tension gain - Aerial movement - Negative penalty - Sweep - Gatling combos - Throws/aerial throws - Specials, supers - Aerial recovery - Faultless Defense - Dead Angle Attack - Burst (now called Psycho Burst) The mechanics that got tweaked: - Guard gauge is now called R.I.S.C. level; it acts the same (forces counter-hit if the player is blocking too much), but can't get below 0 (the default level). - You can press 6 instead of 8 after a Dust, chasing the enemy horizontally. - There is an FRC-like mechanic that I didn't quite understand, need someone else to translate it properly. - There is a new clashing system called "Danger Time". If the players clash three times in a row, the winner of the clash deals extra damage with a "Super Counter".

AtTheGates Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 the yellow frc causes a black screen in the screenshots. maybe its some kind of activation. as for the burst: it was always called psyche burst officially, actually. the clash system: a friend translated it this way: 1. same strength vs same strength = clash 2. stronger vs. weaker = reeling animation on the weaker char 3. strong vs. strong = danger time activated, lasts 3 seconds, next one to land a hit gets a critical counter hit which can lead to big damage.

The translation is: when doing a roman cancel you can also "slow down the flow of time for anyone except you" and below the three images showing the yellow RC "Upon doing a RC during a projectile move's activation, you can attack the opponent both with your character and the projectile move simultaneously!"
