Don't worry, he won't - he's going to be a model edit this time! Anyways, like I said, they are probably going to implement the problematic characters like Eddie early so they get more time to test them. They might also try and diversify the roster ASAP, so people can test characters against a variety of playstyles.

But a few notes on that front: -Grown ass man Bridget might wind up being a thing. He's the most popular character, and he has to age somehow, barring some kind of magical retcon. -Dizzy is Ky's wife and Sin's mother in 2. Seeing as Sin is a human-Gear hybrid as well, I could imagine Dizzy being replaced with Sin. Not that I'd like it, though. -Slayer is probably going to return. He's very popular, and he doesn't really have anything to make him not fight. -Chipp now works as one of Zepp's elite bodyguards alongside Potemkin. Expect a costume change.

Sin making it in seems likely since it GG2 was supposed to be his big introduction. Also Sol's mention of "that punk" from the xrd trailer made me immediately think of him. But Dizzy seems like a sure thing too. She's super popular in Japan and plays big role in the story. Unless she's still in that ice cube.

No, she's not? She had been freed in the overture ending, since Valentine was defeated. I also think Daisuke wanted to make her a character in the planned overture expansion (that never happened), probably sharing Ky and Sin servants If you ask me, Dizzy and Sin are a must. I forget what exactly the subtitles said, but the line was something like, "I don't care who that punk really is." In other words, considering the context he said it in, it's more likely to be a new antagonist. So people can't get any footage or video of Xrd or else they'll be told to leave? It's a public test for crissake. The +R loketest was streamed, but unless they announce they'll do the same for Xrd when they reveal the other characters tomorrow, we'll probably have to rely on shaky cam as usual.

As the one that found these, let me again reiterate, I found these on taobao (a Chinese merchant site) listed as "cosplay reference sheets" with no other information, and for all I know they could just be well-done stolen fanart. There is absolutely no confirmation apart from some interesting coincidences with Sol's outfit and sword ones that these are real or official, much less designs that will actually be in the final game. (...But if they are, I'll be very happy.) edit: I'm curious to see what they'll do with Bridget. As mentioned, the things that makes him popular also makes it difficult to age him up. Then again he's mostly popular with people who know nothing else about the series, so... Maybe he'll just be super bishie like Ky And I don't see any way Sin won't be in this game, he's an important character to the plot now and a good chance to try a new kind of character play-wise. Same deal with Dizzy as with Bridget. And ^^ I don't know where you're getting the idea that it couldn't possibly be Sin, considering the way Sol disparagingly talks about him all the time. The wording in the Japanese line is, "ano gaki no shoutai," "shoutai" basically meaning "true identity" or "real self." The chances of it being Sin they're talking about are slim enough to be disregarded.
