Based on #R might mean boring Robo-Ky, no Order Sol or ABA

Don't snub ABA, it's not her fault!

Whining aside, hoping they get it to be fun like AC.

i dont know the characters seem as fast as previous, i think its just the hitstop thats making it look like that

No Sol's and Ky's normals don't seem to simply come out as fast, compared to AC and the increased hitstop is more negligible compared to how long it takes for attacks to move and become active. I'm not bothered about it lol, it is to be expected when bringing this game back to the forefront of things.

@kosmos, I doubt it since she'll still be crystallized if she's not already going to be in the game. Making her the final boss wouldn't make sense since her Gaiden (X-AC) has been over for a long time now. It'll probably be the guy Ky and Sol were talking about in the Announcement Trailer.

Juat wanted to say thanks guys for the info and the vids. Super pumped to see who else they add. Bozac im goin to try to make it to frosty. I know jamarr n a couple others are suppose to be going.

RE: characters making it in, as someone else mentioned even if we get 4-5 more characters more that's still only about half the cast. Even though they said they're prioritizing returning characters over new ones, I can't see them not putting in a single new (to the main/fg series) character on first release- which will obviously be Sin in my mind, since he has been very much pushed as a main character, despite the salt it will cause for people whose mains didn't get in. And even if not playable immediately then as a mid-boss, and I'm assuming the second Valentine will be the final boss, unplayable until console. But I really cannot see Sin not being shoehorned into first release of Xrd, it would be strange if they put out a new game with zero roster additions and he's the most likely candidate for that.

Valentine would make more sense, IMO

Yeah.Don't know if her role is still exactly an antagonist. But we do know that the Second Valentine is out there.

This expresses my speculations exactly! I am pretty confident Sin and Valentine(either or both) are to the most prone to be in this one.Though I thought I was the only one and therefore count that as being a little ahead of myself.

I believe also Valentine will be the boss(or mid). But like you I speculate there is someone new. Only twist is that I actually think this "newcomer" is the entity Sol and Ky were talking about in the announcement trailer.For some reason the way they described this person/thing/etc makes me believe it is someone or something completely new.

Not to harp on this, but people expecting the full Accent Core roster for Xrd, even in the home version, are very likely going to be disappointed. We'll probably work up to that in subsequent releases (scope dat subtitle there guys) but expecting them to create 23-25 characters for what is essentially a brand new game on a completely new engine is unreasonable.

Honestly, I'd be fine with it if we've already seen all the returning characters and the rest were newcomers. I'd really like to see ASW expand on the GG mythos and design some new characters instead of just converting everything from past games into 3D. I understand them wanting to make sure they appeal to old school GG fans who want to see their favorite character(s) return, but nobody has ever made a good sequel in ANY medium of entertainment from playing it too safe and rehashing old content while bringing very little new material to the table.

I won't mind secret characters in this game or in it's sequel as long its not Zako-Dan related.

Add up the numerical value of Aristobule, Daisuke, and Xrd: 121 + 70 + 46 = 237

Get the digital root: 2 + 3 + 7 = 12

All the more reason why it's the SF4 of GG lol. Isn't that what Capcom did with SF4 by slowly bringing in all the cast members of the Street Fighter lore.EVER?

You mean just doing stun edge in the air, or is there some #R tech about his aerial stun edges I'm missing? I don't play sf btw.

The forest, shin akuma, final showdown, clayton, shrug.

There is a way to make ky do double fireball in air with proper timing.

in previous games (i believe in XX and #R), Ky could double jump after air stun edge if performed high enough in the air and shoot a second stun edge. It's the same technique that Jin uses with his air fireball in BB.

Are there any videos of this? I was unaware Ky could do that, though I never got to play #R seriously.

Hey guys. A friend went to the location test and made some videos. I didn't have much time to upload them until now, so here you go. The quality is very good. :)

I love how the victory poses feature the downed character in the foreground. Such a neat touch and I'm surprised something similar hasn't been done before (that I know of).

oh yeah some guy on jbbs mentioned it air fireballs are back to reload status so you can do the shin akuma trick
