If the second or third version of Xrd only gets released for PS4 so be it (in 1-3 years?) Why would Arcsys mess with all the PS3-owners, right now? Sony just wants to promote their new console with the demo and stuff, naturally, i'd say. Want the demo and want a PS4 at some point... but buying a new stick just for that?.. .. if i could use my current stick, they would have gotten themselves a PS4 sold right away.

NesmerII Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Man, this is like the second or third time I've been able to catch Xrd on Twitch (first time was like the opening weekend tourney when everyone and their mom was Axl), but christ almighty this game looks so great at 60fps. The difference compared to youtube is out of this world. It also makes the game looks so much faster. If there still existed some inane complaint or doubt in Xrd's potential in the back of my mind, well, it is there no longer.

BTW I have to ask, is anybody else a little down about how Sin's playstyle looks really... monotone? Ignoring the supers, his normals and specials just all seem (visually) similar to each other (being pokes/wallops aimed at different areas), while most GG characters tend to have a larger variety of "types" of attacks particularly when it comes to special moves. This wasn't bugging me at first, but it sort of is now... This says nothing for how it might feel to play Sin, but from a visual perspective alone watching other characters do crazy flipkicks/summon elemental stuff/dolphins/drills it feels a tad... lackluster? Maybe this is why I'm also not crazy over Venom who to me is a bit monotone visually... That being said, thinking about how he plays - it actually seems like it would be a very fun rushdown game and I'm looking forward to trying him out.

ElvenShadow Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 You guys do realize that the stream for Xrd is running on twitch almost every day right? They aren't even running at tournament right now, it's just casuals at the moment. If you check the channel between say 10 AM to midnight Japan time (the hours Mikado is open) chances are you can catch some stream matches. Of course, that is providing anyone is playing on the stream cab. There are something like 11 or 12 cabs but only one of them is always hooked up to the stream. Just a heads up.

I want if i bought the japanese version that add a patch which only add english subtitles to the game ..i have no problem if this patch came at the same time or after the North America ver.. with small price of course.. My idea.. WAITING KILLING ME ..i want to buy the game ASAP but in the same time i want enjoy the story mode "sooner or later" ..buying the NA ver after i already bought the JAP ver is such a waste (And this suggeston can actually be good for non japanese Asian countries)..

In addition, Pachi already knows how to play him very well considering he was part of designing the character. Pachi also has always just been a strong player. You do realize he was on the winning SBO team one year back in the day, right? As for the Elphelt match vs Gazou, I think they were playing less seriously in that one. Gazou seemed more concerned about putting his fingers in Elphelt's butt more than anything else lol. Thanks. I was taking into account the match-up experience part and Pachi's experience designing him, but I didn't realize Pachi is actually a top player. How far back was he on the winning SBO team (or what game)? I started playing in X2 and started watching match vids around #R, so maybe I missed it. Jocelot Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 The only real (small, very small) gripe I have with Sin is that it seems none of his moves, even special moves, have his flagpole unwrapped. When I heard he was playable I thought for sure you'd see a lot of flag action? I dunno.
