Margaret is sooooo strong. Naoto will forever struggle. A command grab and an overhead....lol why?

Posted

By the way, is that "recover 8 cards with the speed of 4" still a thing?

I haven't played any actual Margarets so I don't know.

Posted

it would be really hard to break her, but it does recovers as if she has 4 cards

Then what's the point lol.

To pretend you've hindered her from suplexing your brains in :|

Well, you will almost never get her persona break. Most of the time you/she will die before it happens, so it's not really a big deal.

^ Are you talking about Risky Level Score attack?  Because the computer will button read you.  Nothing like Shadow Kanji; you cannot stand anywhere near him during wakeup, else you will suffer a GETB right there and then.

The AI:

1) Almost never blocks if you're not pressing a button.

2) Almost always tries to poke through invul moves.

So if your character can DP into a safe Persona oki (i.e. Yu CH DP > 5D, Ken CH DP > anything) you can literally just run up DP > oki forever until they're dead. That's pretty much the only way to beat Boss Liz without being Naoto near as I can tell since she will use Mediarahan and heal to full if you give her more than a couple of frames after a wakeup to do anything at all.

Sure was annoying to not have a spammable Counter with Chie, but it's all over now at last.

Kind of salty I couldn't earn Adachi through Score Attack, I wanted something to so while waiting for sets.

Labrys red axe 214214A+B is also pretty good for that. The Liz AI loves to run into it. I beat a course of risky score attack with just Labry's DP and 214214A/B/A+B.

I was actually talking about netplay.

As or after Liz hits awakening, knock her down, then stand right next to her for a moment as she gets up, then jump.  The AI will Ghastly Wail in response to you just standing there, even after you input the jump.  Punish the whiff, repeat ad nausem until she dies.  Occasionally she will use Mahamaon/Mamodoon or Diaharan instead.  For the instant kills, she's programmed act a certain way after using them to abuse the IK.  For diaharan, react to the flash and hit her with the fast move you possess.

I beat her as Kanji and Minazuki that way.

Adachi's challenge 24 is timing hell and I've only gotten close 3 times

Anyone know how to time the 2nd 5B right?

It's the last challenge I need for the trophy

If you mean the on after Mandala it's height based. Try getting them as up as you can after the burst with the 2C

I do, and I've managed to hit the 5B multiple times in a row through luck

Just being able to reliably do it would make this challenge easier, if anyone knows how

I'm currently stuck on that link as well. I'd recommend just practicing Mandala into B (or from burst). Usually I break combos up into separate parts to learn timings I'm having trouble with. You kinda just have to experiment for most things.

Or maybe you could just count? I

tend to watch the camera to judge my opponents height myself.

Any released date for the rest of the music dlc? I assume the Persona Q music will come out during its release date, but curious to know about the rest of the music.

More DLC that Atlus USA mentioned will be up on 10/14. Contents are unknown, but we should guess anyways it'll be more music and some other extras.

Also, JP PS3 version users of Ultimax will be treated to the Challenge 25 (30 for Shadows) demostration DLC (free, like P4A) same week too, kinda stupid the P4A C-D doesn't transfer over, cause I guess different challenges for everyone. Hopefully that also comes stateside too if by the same week, if possible.

I'll cross my fingers to hope we get the complete set of japanese voices back.

As mentioned before, it's a height thing, so to accurately simulate it you'd have to do the first half of the combo to practice it.

What do you guys do when someone with a <1 bar comes to play you in the lobby. I know how pissed i get in laggy matches, so I sadly have to tell them no, but i feel like a dick. Am I the only one that does this?

Man, I'm so jealous of you guys who can ignore people with 1 and 2 bars and still have decent competition to choose from :v:
