sparkaura Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Ok, so the 623 tunrs to be a bug right?, patch incoming :v I doubt it. My friend can do gekiren with Amane just fine. He does the actually dp motion rather than the shortcut. Im trying to reach myself the proper way lol Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Kibafool Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 It's not a bug. I play on pad and I changed how I do DPs but holding down slightly more and I get DPs just fine. It just seems like CP is more strict on inputs on everything. I have trouble pulling off 632146 and I can't TK Ragna's Blood Scythe by doing 2147.
Elochai Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 TKing moves is kinda weird for me as well. I can TK bloodscythe all day unless I'm doing it off of a move like 6A or something. I suppose I'm just not used to the way the inputs are in this game or the PS3 pad in general, but I hope stick makes it better for me .

kazukifafner Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I had a somewhat difficult time with hc motions, but I really just found that i had to focus on the main directional inputs and not worry about the diagonals. Now I can do it every time.
Jx31 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Does the game rarely freeze up in 64 man online lobbies's for anyone else or is it just me? I just had it happen for the second time.
Tong Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Try this: Input 6236X as Hazama and Jin, and then as Ragna, Azrael and Amane. Now, why does the game give DP priority to Hazama and Jin, but not to Ragna, Azrael and Amane?
Wing Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 someone share this game with me? i can give you a friend request in return
Ajantas Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Try this: Input 6236X as Hazama and Jin, and then as Ragna, Azrael and Amane. Now, why does the game give DP priority to Hazama and Jin, but not to Ragna, Azrael and Amane? Its like how if you press A+B+C in Neutral some characters throw like Terumi/Azreal/Ragna but others do a Crush Trigger Noel/Jin etc.
Moy_X7 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Da fuq, more people need to hit the lab and confirm these phenomenons. This shit is sounding wonky as hell right now lol.

TekkamanArk Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Also noticed that some characters will Rapid with the A+B+C+D preset to R3, and some will go into Overdrive.
syzm Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 At first I thought I had just forgotten how to DP after all that Persona.
Eternal Blaze Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 this shit is mad irritating. I've never had to "end" the dp in 3 in any other game, its freakin retarded that it reads 6236 as a fireball. And from what I'm reading its character specific? what the shit dude..
ThatHiroGuy Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I feel like everyone online is LEAGUES better than me. I mean, I've played pretty competitively in the past and I never seemed to get trashed THIS hard. Why are people immediately so good at this right now? It's like... everyone.
StrikerChampion Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 hello guys I don't know if this question has been asked but how do I redeme my code for Terumi?
Blackwolfos Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 hello guys I don't know if this question has been asked but how do I redeme my code for Terumi? Hey, so first you have to be on a jp account, then after that you go to account management > redeem code. its on the psn home screen. Hope that helps!
Nemesis Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I see very few immediately strong players .... I see a lot of mashing tho....a lot lol And crazified yomi
someonewhodied Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I see very few immediately strong players .... I see a lot of mashing tho....a lot lol And crazified yomi You shoulda seen my playing. God level yomi with no skill whatsoever. Besides the occasional combo.
ThatHiroGuy Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I see very few immediately strong players .... I see a lot of mashing tho....a lot lol And crazified yomi I guess I wouldn't say tournament level strong, but for the first day people are doing some insane stuff. Talkin... Overdrive combos that actually work, and do like 6k+ damage, better-than-bnb combos, and in general, solid gameplay for the first day-ish. Perhaps it's because I'm playing Bullet and Azrael.

I mean, I've played pretty competitively in the past and I never seemed to get trashed THIS hard. Why are people immediately so good at this right now? It's like... everyone. perhaps it just seems that way because of the thorough trashing that you are taking. logically, pretty much everyone who just got the console game, expert player or not has to start the same inexperienced way. so the reasons why anyone would be losing right now is fairly linear. tl;dr practice. more

If you have played previous versions, you can pretty much port over all your experience with you. All you have to do is learn new combos and the specifics of some different matchups, really.

I know it's a long road of practice ahead, I just felt like the competition was weirdly ahead this time as opposed to my other experiences with Arcsys games.

All you have to do is learn new combos and the specifics of some different matchups, really. Pretty much this You could probably win with fundamentals alone. The core mechanics for most characters remain mostly the same, so now you just need to learn the new BnBs, which most people already know from watching JP match videos alone.
Nemesis Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 The game as a whole feels rather different Mac I'll just saythat much
