This game was my first PS3 game ever. Gorgeous 2D sprites, awesome and varied soundtrack, excellent fighting system, and branching storyline. I f*cking loved everything about that game. Looking back on how far BlazBlue has come since 2009, I'm curious as to how well it has aged. How about you? :p

Visually, it still looks really good. The soundtrack is still good too.

Otherwise? Eh. Not so good. Well, the story hasn't changed. If you liked it then, you'll like it now.

It must have been hard for CT Arakune players to adjust to needing multiple hits for a curse in CS.

Anyway, there's really no reason to play CT anymore except for the story mode, and there's a nicely summarized version of that available in CSE.

There's still perfectly good reasons for still playing CT.

It's to do things like this, and this, and this, and laugh until you can't breathe anymore.

Because CT was broken as hell and that's what made it hilarious.

EDIT: AND ALSO to hear the Calamity Trigger announcer. The best announcer in the whole series.

It is surprisingly amusing to go back to CT and remember how your main used to play back then.

When CT came out, I was an extremely mediocre player and thus didn't utilize my character to their fullest potential. But goddamn, going back and seeing how GOOD Nu was back then (Pretty much everything was jump cancellable and, hey, if you whiff a drive? Don't sweat it.)

Hilarious stuff.

Nu made me rage countless times because of her Sickle Storm & Spike Chaser! :banghead: My favorite thing about CT was Ragna and how much damage his Soul Eater attacks did, making even his BnBs scary as hell! :D

I meant more like seeing it in a real match. Setting up an ideal circumstance in training mode would be easy.

If it didn't use GFWL I'd probably still play PC CT for the same reason I stll play PC Reload, because it's all you got on PC lol.

One of the main things I remember about CT is that I was an Arakune player back then and I got pouty and dropped him in CS when they made him not curse on a single hit. Oh how spoiled I was, but I still blame Arcsys for debuting him like that and getting me used to it in the first place.

If it wasn't for BBCT. I wouldn't still be playing today or at all for all I know. I could make a list of why I still like it.

A thing that hasn't been pointed out iirc, is that Arcade Mode with all characters had different endings unlike the majority of CS, CS2, CSE. I'm glad CP actually has good Arcade endings now and it isn't all the same near enough.

I would pay money for DLC that let me select the CT Astral theme, that song was the entire reason I started playing FGs in general
