from what i have seen at least vs pot it didnt seem like the best thing because its easy to see coming and there is enough time to stick out the appropiate counter which is flick in this case.

otherwise I would think its a combination of its speed and horizontal recovery that make it not the best move ever. its options also seem fairly telegraphed in a sense that after a few blocks it is much easier to figure out what bedman is going to do and therefore counter it. but I could be wrong on some of these points.

Hey guys,
I've wanted to play Bedman for a long long time and finally with Xrd coming to the ps3. It's finally possible.
One thing I can't figure about Bedman. What's the punch line? what should every Bedman player aim to while playing, [ What I mean is like Sol badguy SW loop].
btw, why when someone attacks me, Bedman automatically cross teleports him?
Thanks.

Would this be the right place to ask for help on his trials, because #28 has got me stumped, don't know why it doesnt count my cl.S each time I land it. after tk 236HS

Only if they hit you mid dash.

Hitting with Task C at the peak of your high jump will cause the Task C to bounce your opponent high enough for close S to hit without it being an otg. Just watch the sample/demo combo they do for that lol.

wow I totally ignored the jump height I thought they were teaching you to use it as an instant overhead haha.....

haha yeah. I don't think it'd be good as an instant overhead (it's not even instant). We have jump Dust for that.

I think if it hits you on the initial throw, he teleports in front of you, but if the bedball hits the opponent on the way back Bedman appears behind them instead.

When bedman makes someone block with Task A', can he choose which side to appear on? I'm guessing not since it's pretty damn fast.

Nope, but if you knock them down you can create set-ups where it hits them on the back as they get up if you delay it.

Example 2S > 5HS > 2D > Task A'

You may have to slightly adjust depending on range, you can also delay it to hit them from the front.

Since we're talking about the teleport off Task A' I wanted to ask about the challenge 34 combo.  I cleared it but I don't understand why it does what it does.

Can someone explain what is going on there?  Does a certain timing of the attack hitting before the 214K cause the 214K to hit them in the back even though it's coming from their front?  It's happening from the 2nd hit of 5H too for example.  Seems to happen when the ball hits very slightly after the initial attack hits but I'm unsure if there is another factor.

I'm pretty sure it's just Sol's hit animation causing the A' to hit late, and teleport to the other side. I think the trial is easier if you cross them up with j.D a little further away from the Deja Vu, but I still can't manage to get the j.KS to connect regularly.

Yeah you've gotta delay the second j.KS a little or it won't come out after the jump cancel (or 8way jump cancel or whateaver it's called for him).  You can't do it immediately like other characters can from a double jump.  I mess it up too.

They're always too high for the first j.K to connect after 5HS jump cancel. In a real match I'd just opt for j.P j.S airdash 9 j.K j.S

Does anyone have any idea how to do ADDF so that both j.K and j.S will come out? If I do 993 or 883 quickly then all that happens is I get j.K realllllllly low to the ground, but when I watched Tsubu play he could do and air dash and still have j.S come out, his j.K came out way earlier.

like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai-YP6pnFNk#t=45m24s you can clearly see it. I don't believe it's a matter of inputting quicker, as no matter how quick I do it j.K either doesn't come out or hits the opponent in the feet. If I do 2883 (hj.ADDF) then it still doesn't work. I'm lost here.
