There's no doubt digital is convenient but I like free collectibles! Don't think there's any tournament standard rules that I've seen. Most of the footage seems like it's best of 1 double elims but I think best of 3 is a better choice is most cases. IMO feel free to run a tourney however you want, since the game is new there shouldn't be any complaints.

 

Japan always does single elimination brackets best of one match tournaments for every single game (to my knowledge). There aren't any "unlimited" or enhanced versions of characters. The tournament rules are going to be just like any other basic standard rules in the US (Double Elimination Bracket - Best 2/3 Matches - 3/5 Grand Finals (Winners/Losers Finals depending on tournament))

Alright alright.

I put together a google spreadsheet that was originally intended just as a player list for people planning on playing DFC, but now it has become a bit of an info hub as well as the player list it originally was intended to be.

Heads up all you need to do to get wiki access is email bell, check the front page of the mizuumi wiki for the email address.

Oh, that easy? lol. If this is the same wiki, I remember editing a lot of Dorothy stuff when AH2 port came out and I didn't require authorization back then so just figured it was limited now.

It's the mizuumi wiki (dfc.mizuumi.net), the reason accounts are manual now is because of spam bots

Can someone tell me if Selvaria and Akira are DLC characters or are they included in the console version? I just want to know so i can decide whether to get the physical copy or the digital copy.

They are included but you have to unlock them.

Don't the costumes and other banner tidbits cost in-game currency. You better unlock them from story mode otherwise nobody will be playing Akira or Selvaria on my profile lol.

till we find out if the game netcode is stable., having a tournament that soon doesnt seem ideal. And thisgame wont be getting its own forum At least not on Dustloop anyway.

Not sure if this was already revealed, but Gamer mentions that from the 6th page of Training Mode menu, you can quickly switch your or the opponent's play character and support character. You can even change the stage from there.

That trophy list has way too few references for a crossover game. It's like they didn't even try. Yes, this is important.

 

The wiki doesn't seem to have any new characters yet, but that's to be expected, I guess.

Well, already paid it my copy from AmiAmi, usually paid SAL registered but Nov-Dec its a awful season for package in my country so order from EMS, I need it from runnig a Tournament, oh many business days takes to arrive?

Best case scenario for amiami is that you'll get the package at the beginning of the next week- they will likely email you for payment processing at some ungodly hour so you probably won't be able to confirm until after they've closed for the day.  That means the package won't ship out until the next day at the earliest and because Asian releases are on Thursdays, you'll be waiting until after the weekend to get your shipment.

 

Compound that with the fact that their shipping method requires you to be physically present to sign for the package so if you aren't there when they try to deliver, you'll have to add at least another day onto that.

 

I've ordered from amiami three times and I've regretted it every time- the extra hassle and wait isn't worth saving a few bucks over play-asia's prices, IMO.

Well no matter where you preorder from, they still need to ship/export from Japan and then go through customs in your own country, so it's highly unlikely that you'll get your game even the following day.  It will be a test of all of our patience ;(

Anyone else waiting longer than usual for their digital PSN codes to show up on Play-Asia?  I ordered mine about 45 minutes ago and they still haven't shown up...just wondering since the last time I ordered mine it was about an hour or so before UNIEL came out and they showed up in my account immediately.
