heavymetalmixer Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 http://www.famitsu.com/news/201412/25068695.html "More than 40 battle stages", looks like CP Extend includes the Alter Memory DLC in the base game. For anyone wondering about Terumi and Kokonoe, going from the update to the official BB website it looks like they are indeed included as part of the base Extend game, too. The fact they needed to clarify that screenshot of the lobby is from the previous version is a little funny but probably means very little or perhaps nothing at all. Still no mention about the PS3 update?
Tokkan Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Still no mention about the PS3 update? You think that actually exists?
Arcus Diabolus Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I just got a Ps3 JUST for this game, Its literally the only Ps3 title I own and you mean I have to replace it already?! I even got the limited edition as well. Oh hell, I dont have the cash for this at all... I have been sitting here excited about this update, but after a long time waiting, I come here to check for details and I'm more or less informed that I need to spend more cash that I dont have for yet another hard copy that will invalidate everything that came before it... Some Christmas this turned out to be...

Excuse me, mate, but i can only tell you something like: Fightings are a hobby, and your should be wealthy enough (in a matter of time and money) to allow yourself this hobby. So just earn more, be succesful in life and you wouldnt ever be sorry for wasting some amount of money for your favorite hobby
A.X.I.S. Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 This is purely opinion and changes on a per-person basis. I've never made a game of this scale or tried to do what they do, so I can't say "they're not doing it right." I can say that I don't enjoy what they've done, but that problem ends with me. Appropriate cost is also different per person. I'd have paid 200 dollars for CP without issue. Most people would say "It's insane because all other games are 60 dollars!", but I haven't played other fighting games for 5000+ matches online. I'd still have gotten a steal at 200 dollars, entertainment-wise. Think of the guys playing these games in arcades. They have 5000+ matches logged on that Nesica card. Let's assume they only win half of those. That's still roughly a DOLLAR for half of those matches. That's 2500 dollars on that game..not including the paid training mode time or single player matches. If you're worried about a small percentage of that, but still work to get to that level of play, then I don't know what to tell you. Everyone has different time and financial situations, but you're just going to have to line up your priorities. If it's not worth it to you, don't buy it. If this is a major opinion across the fanbase, then that will tell them that their product may need tweaking. I love you so much.
Poultrygeist Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Not buying a game doesn't tell a company you disapprove of how they do business LOL WHAT.
Tokkan Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 HORI are releasing a BBCPEX stick. It's PS3/PS4 compatible and uses a 6-button layout; looks like it's based off the HORI Fighting Stick and not the HRAP. This is the first BlazBlue-based HORI stick since the one they made for BBCS Extend. LOL WHAT. It's kinda true though. There's no way of telling how a company will react to a lack of purchases.
Tokkan Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Scan I can not see this scan, though it may or may not be new. Please upload it elsewhere. Edit: My mistake, your link is just faulty. You forgot a colon. Scan is new, but doesn't actually have new info. Of note, it does not mention the Xbox One version at all. Actually, the Xbox One version isn't even available for pre-order last I checked, only the PS3 and PS4 versions are.

PS Master Race in Japan and all that
Tokkan Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 And about the Xbox One, it's only on the West. PS Master Race in Japan and all that Uh... the official Japanese website of BlazBlue mentions the Xbox One version, Famitsu also mentions the Xbox One version. I'd imagine it's not only for the West. We've heard nothing about what's happening in the West with BBCP Extend. Actually, I just realised. This scan is probably from Dengeki Playstation, so of course they wouldn't mention the Xbox version.
heavymetalmixer Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Scan Finally, they <more or less> show Roy's face.
Arcus Diabolus Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 We don't even have a date for the american version, just play 1.1 until then. Yeah, thats true too. It might be a while. Thats a bit of a relief. That's pretty much what you have to do for every fighting game. Most of it transfers over to the new game aside from combos, and once you learn the combo theory for your character enough you can pretty much adapt to whatever changes they make. Yea, I suppose thats right too. Its just why do they have to do it THIS much? Thankfully the game is $20 cheaper than most (Assuming its the same price as launch CP), but it still means we gotta rebuy the game and dlc for a simple update. After getting a PS3 for this game a year ago, I can't help but feel like I'm investing way to much money into this. Excuse me, mate, but i can only tell you something like: Fightings are a hobby, and your should be wealthy enough (in a matter of time and money) to allow yourself this hobby. So just earn more, be succesful in life and you wouldnt ever be sorry for wasting some amount of money for your favorite hobby The primary issue I have is investing 200 on a PS3 so I could transfer over from the 360 then 80 on the limited edition. I was just hoping I was gonna get a little bit more mileage out of it. I dont mind spending more, its just I won't be able to use the money I have to expand into other games like GG Xrd and USF4.
Errol Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I don't think you'll have to rebuy any dlc. if there's dlc I *THINK* it will be all new dlc. The extend disc came with all the old characters and let you buy all the colors IIRC. a note is already claiming 40 stages too so that sounds non dlc.

Capcom releasing Lost Planet 3 is a good example of this, despite there being no demand for it whatsoever (hell, most people wanted it to never come back).
CosmicShadow99 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Finally, they <more or less> show Roy's face. Who? The guy in glasses next to kokonoe and crazy pole woman? I'm no good at the moonrunes, is there anything around that pic that says something about Roy?

Well, true, but technically the dlc are a part of the Extend package, so I would still technically be rebuying them. (Theoretically at a reduced cost.)
swordsman09 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I'm surprised nobody pointed out the inclusion of "EXTEND GAG". Or was that something we already knew?
Tokkan Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I'm surprised nobody pointed out the inclusion of "EXTEND GAG". Or was that something we already knew? I already did that a week ago when discussing info coming from Famitsu.
ThatHiroGuy Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 LOL WHAT. It's pretty true though. A business can easily mistake low sales as a non-interest in the game, as opposed to people trying to send the message that they don't like their practices. This is definitely a fine line of an issue, and there's not really high chances of this practice changing for fighting games, unless there's literally a ton of anger thrown in the company's general direction.
The Puppeter Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 They will make a Music live show for Blazblue in 3/2015 ... what if Mori surprise us with trailer for Nine and Jupei ?

Litherain-XIII Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Quick question. Does anyone know how to do a dashing "22A/B/C" input. Essentially doing a microdashing 22C input in BB. Ive seen it being done a few times and ive done it a few times but is inconsistent about how to exactly execute it specifically.
