Well, the text is already translated, even in the Asian version so it's just a matter of going through whatever process is needed to get it onto US PSN. I imagine it will come out here around the same time as the netcode is complete and it is released on JP PSN.

ahh sounds good. Definitely something worth waiting for if it comes with the netplay. I don't wanna do training mode only(Nobody else will play this here)

It's not confirmed. They're working towards it though.

I will tell you though, because I know this, that fixing the poor English will not be hard for any prospective US publisher. Means the text is stored as images :V

Also worth noting all of the JP text is still in the game. I don't remember if you can enable it in game though.

Learn the corner loop.

use jump d.

In all seriousness, watch some videos, her approach is super straight forward.

If I wasn't so awful with grapplers this nigga would be insta-main

What kind of logic is that? It never stopped your choices before.

Really? Wondering if this game is worth getting, 30 is too much... 21 still sounds like a lot of money to pay for this though. Was wondering if there was a planned US release... Hm...

Just get something else with it, like Idol-- I mean... something else that's asia-onry.

for those interested

stages, graphics(inculding gallery) Rips of the game

http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/chaos-code-147037.0.html

no sprites yet though you can get those stage background sprites

Thank you so much! I was waiting for someone with the knowledge to do this! So many unused and beta sounds. This is a large step for the ENTIRE community. Going to pack it and send it to the Japanese players later.

Elaborate, dont just shit on people's games lol

He's probably talking about how you can hold a button for links. As in you can do a f.D and hold A and A will come out on the fastest frame. This also works for the counter as well.

Link-wise (that I'm aware of), it makes Kagari's 5fC > 2LP/5LK/2LK link easy, as well as following up Buster Knuckle's wall-bounce in the corner off of specific confirms with Hikaru easier.

Counter/Parry/Deflect-wise, you'll probably get blown up for doing it if their block-strings aren't flowchart-basic/typed out mindlessly. It burns your meter and can end up with you losing at least 40% of your lifebar if the other player sets up a nice counter-hit.

Edit: I don't think you can buffer specials with this, though.

Pretty new to the game and I'm gonna play it later today. Is there somewhere I can go to find out information on the game translated in English? I would like to have an idea of what buttons do what. Looking into Cerberus since he looks fun, any information for basics would help, thanks in advanced.

Mizuumi is the only thing I can think of right now, although it still needs a lot of work.

There's a wiki for it on Mizuumi, but it isn't really formed yet. There's Celia 2 and Kagari stuff up from what I've seen, but I have yet to check every character.

Just mash around for awhile. That's what I did. Oh, and don't forget most moves have different properties for air hit. That's pretty much all I can think of.

Thanks guys! I really needed to know what buttons do what and moveset for Cerberus. I signed up for a tournament for the game and I have never touched it. It starts in 3 hours... :vbang:

@Katz: That's it? Really now? Doubt I'll do well or win but if I do... I'm gonna laugh to the bank.

Okay guys, I'm going to say this...all help is appreciated with fixing the wiki. If you have a combo or some other information that you think needs to be added, feel free to. For example, most of the color references aren't official or anything, so if you think any color has a strong resemblance to something else, add it to the wiki as well. Do not be afraid to contribute.

Edit: I don't think you can buffer specials with this, though.

It seems like you can- to some extent. It's not as "forgiving" as with normals but it appears that so long as you are on the ground, you can hold the button after the directional input and the move will come out as soon as the recovery frames end.

Edit: Okay, just as I say that, I notice it apparently has nothing to do with being on the ground... Maybe it's just a certain number of frames before the recovery that it lets you buffer the link. In any case, it's there but you can't really abuse it like you can the normal links.

Remember when I said hit j.d with Rui?

Hit j.a too. That moves pretty good, as I learned today.

I will say though, the more I play the game, the more this terribad input interpreter makes me want to put it down.

I wasn't the only one getting frustrated at it tonight either.

Seems like this is America's number one complaint about this game, and it is a valid one. If it's enough to make you quit, then I'm honestly at a loss of words.

I have played over 600 matches so far with various amounts of NY players. Some have complained, but stuck with it after figuring it out, which didn't take long. I say practice/play casuals at least until you run your first tournament. If you haven't been able to get used to the input by then, you are free to quit without any backlash.

Why? You state its a valid complaint. I'm playing this game as recreation.

I'm not trying to "pop off" here, and maybe you meant something different- but let me stop you here. Don't tell me when I can stop playing a game. Don't tell me when I can stop running events for a game. I have zero obligation to run an event for this game. I'm going to, because I think the games fun, even if its a bit silly at times.

Do not hold threats of "backlash" over my head to run an event, it won't get you far.

I understand you really enjoy this game, I understand that you have put time into organizing information on a wiki, and a tier list. This does not give you the power to threaten me with backlash for not running an event, or even playing a game in my free time.

Dude, I never threatened you. In fact I didn't even try. I was just saying that you shouldn't quit over something so superficial, and I would respectfully agree with your decision to stop playing if you decide on it. If my choice of words really bothered you, then I apologize.

Also, I never once stated that you were obligated to run a tournament for this game. In fact, I applaud you for even going out of your way to. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.

If I may, the only thing that amazes me is how you were able to pull something as so grand as a threat out of such a few sentences.
