I saw you 3C after a blocked j.C, and go for a pink throw after a j.C on hit. Those options are sorta reversed, and even then are still bad follow ups. You've secretly been an Arakune main all this time... how could you!

I don't really have a hard time hitting Rachel with it though, did you hold it down too long? Ironically, to hit Hakumen you have to do different timing or you miss. Ah, good point about doing grab on j.C block...

I can see a few obvious things but I'll let you guys say some things. God, 3:05 in the second video made me rage so hard. And laugh. :P I can see you use Kishuu very well. As Slayer said, try not to waste stars (blocked j.C -> enma) unless you're going for a crush. You seem to have the same throw-happy habit that I do, so try to tone that down a bit and go for pokes or 2b if you're in range. Characters with DP's will DP you out of a throw more often than not. Didn't get a chance to see how well you combo, so I can't comment on that. Besides that, you've got a good Haku and you're good at handling Nu. Keep it up! All I can say from a minute or so of watching is you could learn to IB since it seems you have everything else down well enough. That's all I got for now, gotta bail.
Leonil_Requiem Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 lol, when mac feels like put my replay up, you'll have a vid, everyone dies quickly though, cause i always try to go for max dam combos. but don't do purple throw... ever. it's best to do jab to cancel the block stun of j.C and then grab so it will be green and they'll have less time to tech it, or maybe j.C 2B 623A Grab cause it's mix up with a green grab. just don't purple grab, people have time to say wow, then tech the grab. also, 6A people to death, anti air is one of the tools all characters have and should be exploited.

You seem to have a good handle on the Nu match-up, and I'm not pro enough to go into the fine details. You really should learn to do falling.C stuff, the damage you get off those is really good. I can help you get them down if you're having trouble with 'em. Beyond that, from seeing you play, you've got solid fundamentals and those psychic counters. If you even add in IB'ing to your game, I'd hate to be at the receiving end of your Haku. It'll especially help you against Bangs and Litchis, anyway.

IB's need summer for that, since it takes time to get down, I am getting better at IBing nu's offline and green connection. I need more training against bang's, he's frustrating to fight due to him hitting faster than hakumen in all aspects. Litchi is her friggin ranged mix up due to her staff >_< which is why I have a hard time guarding and countering her...

I might have something else laying around though... gotta play more matches. :P Blade, I think the one thing that jumped out at me is, working on your defense. He pretty much ran through you the first round like that. But Noel always mixes me up too X_x

Which is dead more or less in cs, I need to play more noels is all, ragna's don't get in as easily with me but ragna is my best match up :]

This dude's got it all. lol that tager could have j.2C'd the fuck out of him, threw out some j.C's, and air threw him and leonil would have felt like shit lol. damn i feel bad for that tager, leonil has a way with scaring the shit out of people.

Pressuring w/ 2A>j.A on Tager seems like a good idea though, unless they are back dash happy :/ the tager didn't know the match-up, when leonil airdash he backdashed as if leonil was gonna j.c, in the tagers defense most haku's use j.C in their airdashes but leonil did treat that tager good, that tager isn't really bad it was just a difference in skill and match-up experience, we are looking at leonil who fought tagers like me and commanderoftroy, while that tager fought haku's like...random scrub haku-men.

Not even any jab mashing. Saying: "it was just a difference in skill and match-up experience" sorta convinced me of that...

He throws out a lot of j.B's when you're near and 6a will stuff him, and you can combo into loop. That and try to vary your jump-ins becauase when you fight a good tager they'll make you eat it if you don't :o only minor gripes though, and it's only 1 match
