Resident Dustloop longtime member Klaige has recently created a project which he has wonderfully dubbed: IAD-TV (Instant Air Dash - TV). This tutorial/walkthrough series covers not only Character archetypes and system mechanics, but also the type of mentality a new player should have when playing and initially approaching Guilty Gear. Hit the jump for more information about the show, along with an in-depth description by Klaige himself. [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

On Monday, via Arc System Works official USA Facebook Account it was announced that the North American Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R patch would be made available before the end of this year 2013. While no further details were announced, including which platform this would be for (PSN/XBLA), expect more information as it is made available. Hit the jump for more info including the official patch notes from the Japanese version release. [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

While the Japanese PSN version of +R has been made available for some time, it unfortunately did not include all of the proposed improvements initially promised when +R was announced back last year. It is yet to be seen if the North American version of this patch is the same 'bare bones' version as the PSN variety released in August, or if ArcSys delayed the patch in other territories in order to catch up to the vision they initially had for the release, including the improvements to netplay and specifically lobbies containing more than 2 players.

In the meantime, below is a list of changes that came with the Japanese PSN release of the +R update:

The Persona 4 Arena sequel, previously known a Persona 4 Climax, has been officially revealed today as Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold. Along with the announcement came a trailer, which shows 3 new characters for the game: Junpei Iori, Yukari Takeba, and an original character named Sho Minazuki. Interestingly, players have noticed a similarity between Sho Minazuki and Old Man Daidara from Persona 4. The trailer is located below:

Famitsu also revealed the staff for the game, the plot, and information about new characters and game mechanics. Translation credited to USD of Shoryuken.com:

More pictures and larger image sizes are available on Famitsu's article page, linked to above.

In addition to the announcements, another round of location testing is starting today. Omex is currently attempting to capture everything in a google document, located here. There's also a movelist for the characters located on Arc System Works' website.

Finally, Kurushii has compiled a list of other media regarding the game:
