Blazblue Combo Video Database

By Guest, in Home,

After two weeks of hard work I can finally release my project to the world. Combo videos are great entertainment but also an amazing way to learn more about the game. Since Calamity Trigger we have had many amazing, artistic videos from players all around the world. From players like MSY, Chaoto, Lush, Tetsu, SKD, SuperScience, and many more. Sadly a lot of these videos get lost in the wheels of time because of copyright infringements, deletion, or just not well exposed.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK] We have users in the Dustloop community like Jourdal, and Pktazn who have showcased a ton of Japanese and North American videos on their Youtube channel over the years, but with YouTube getting more and more strict on uploads and shutting channels down, the majority of those videos are not easy to find. It's almost the same story for Japan with NicoNico. Some great combo videos can no longer be watched because of music copyright infringements. As someone who greatly enjoys watching these works of art, I wanted to make a centralized location to showcase all of them while providing backups in case they are taken down. This is my gift to the community and to cmv makers around the world! Enjoy!

BBCSE Mu-12 Okizeme Setups Videos

By Guest, in Home,

I made these videos to demonstrate Mu-12's setup and mixup potential in this iteration of the game. Most of it is practical and is what I use in my matches, but there's also some flashy combo video material. Enjoy.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

Notation and more information in the video descriptions.

Reflections:
This was my first time being a T.O. I had fun, providing the opportunity for so many skillful players to shine. There was lots of personal highlights & memorable experiences throughout the event. I would like to start by giving two very distinctive THANK YOU'S

[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
1) All 30 players who attended. Your participation IS the only reason Darkstalkers are not Dead. The out of towners, The GGPO-heads, ST-Heads and TN especially. You guys are why this event was much more grand then a "local".

2.) The handful of people who had direct input in executing this intense weekend. Jess' & Nathan as Co-T.O.s, Kajoq & FleshPounder as Pokeman masters, Lion's Eye as a director of Teams, Jais & FleshPounder as GG enthusiast, Ailerus & Servo holding down the stream interface & lastly Morgan, Dalton & Carlos as spontaneous aid w/ setup, early Sunday morning. To these people, the event's success is credited too.

Regarding the event. I am very pleased w/ lots of aspects of the weekend. Schedule, flow, traffic, numerous events, consistency, sound system, visual, number of stations & excitement. I feel, as a T.O. W/ the supporting aid we received, this event was a success.

The folks over at Silicon Era have posted new in-game shots of Yuki Terumi from the next installment of Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma, as well as some interesting storymode screenshots of Nine, Celica (Nine's younger sister) and six hero Trinity. Make sure to check out their article for more info on Terumi and insight into BBCP's story!

With a lot of new people taking interest in both GG and Blazblue of late with the announcements of multiple new titles (+R, XRD, and BBCP), I've decided to put my stream to more use and start doing a tutorial show for players of all levels. Instant Air Dash TV is going to be my way of sharing all that I've learned over 10 years of playing arc-sys games with other players around the country and going to tournaments. This series airs on my channel Tuesday nights at 8PM CST http://twitch.tv/klaige

EVO 2013 Interview Project

By Guest, in Home,

Greetings from across the ocean, Xie here. I'm pleased to announce that I will be creating a video interview project with all of the Persona 4 Arena EVO 2013 attendees from Japan.

But wait! Keep reading! If you have any questions for our esteemed guests, please check out: http://goo.gl/266RH. I will be taking submissions until this Saturday (6/22/13), so make sure to get those questions in on time!

This project was made possible by the donors at: http://goo.gl/qXd9M. The project is already fully funded, so no more contributions need to be made. Impressed with the support I've received, I'm going to go an extra mile and fork over the extra money to rent an arcade venue that will allow me to record a round robin with all of the attendees. However, if you would still like to contribute extra in the face of this, please visit http://goo.gl/qXd9M to read more.

Thank you for your time, I hope to see you at EVO 2013 this year!
