  1. Good games to Girlpower_speed. I got bodied.
  2. I am wondering if she'll be controlling the direction she's aiming (like a 2-d lazer scope sidescrolling shooter with mouse control) or literally aiming at a spot on the screen like traditional fps? Time to wait I suppose. The latter would be even harder if the target is small but allows skill to do crazy stuff (makes the opponents movement really matter). The former sounds more practical I guess.
  3. ^^I wonder if it'll be a needed risk (the reload) like A.B.A's blood packs but with a gun's bullets. I could imagine her playing keep away and being limited to kicks or pistol whippin' until she can get that reload. Well, there are a lot of directions to go. I will be very curious to see how her aiming mechanic works (could be strong but skillful neutral) and how she plays. I wonder if she'll be a tricky character to play but stylish if you get her down. lol, reload YRC and them gun feints...
  4. The arcade version currently having only 5 colors is making the game look a tiny bit more monotonous. I wonder how much will be in the home version.
  5. It's the nature of sport and competition in general that the assumed best or expected victor may not win. Actually in a lot of cases, it doesn't even happen most of the time. That's one of the unscripted dramatic things that make it interesting. Matches were nuts: The BB top 8 was fun. Galileo vs. Dogura rematch was pretty intense. Both players were playing extremely well. Dogura was pretty much filthy the entire tournament. Kogatan is really fun to watch. I thought the Teddie GF was pretty ridiculous-- 899-900 psr vs. 902? There were so many callouts, feints and crazy stuff going on by both Souji and Mad--blocked motorcycle setup things, Souji with that 2AA, 2AA, 2AA pressure. I felt bad for Souji though. That button issue was awkward and I wasn't sure if he baited a burst that wasn't there. I thought a missile would have won him the match. Good stuff from Tahichi's Yukari-- that one comeback was ridiculous. FAB almost pulled off that victory and he was fun to watch. Those flicks against Rozu were on point and I'm always impressed at what he does with not too many oki options. I thought Gazou played well because going into GFs, I thought Nage had the edge. Good stuff from Hasegawa. It looked rough but he was making opportunities count. There was only one Danger Time in Top 8 and whatever showed up on the stream iirc. It was my first live Arc Revo so I enjoyed the different atmosphere. I actually like the hopping between games (assuming most matches aren't being streamed). I am curious how watching the matches will affect the meta and people's overall outlook on the game. I was sad i didn't see any announcements. Gazou is new school right?
  6. He was on point all tournament.
  7. It stopped me about 54 minutes in. Thanks.
  8. dang, no more non-premium nico nico time for me.
  9. James Xie twitter I guess has what's going on off stream. Seems SG and Lk were competitively in it though. I did not catch names on the GG matchups so far.
  10. someone typed USA already lost.
  11. Should be BB 2v2, P4U2, and Xrd but I don't know the order.
  12. I read Ustream but we'll see. At least we have Nico Nico I suppose.
  13. Hopefully it's like Evo and it's just the monitors/TVs. I guess that's the likely thing.
  14. yeah, one article mentioned Acho on Ustream and did Godsgarden actually stream it last year on twitch (not sure why I read that somewhere). I also read it would be free on nico nico?
  15. Ah, thanks. I'll use that as a guide. I'm gonna be up pretty late hahaha.
  16. ^^same. I'm trying to figure out what's the exact Eastern time for me to find a stream. I hope the Arc Revo youtube channel posts matches.
  17. I think it's a style thing, because I am not too crazy about CP Litchi I guess, but I concede to the better players. I played Litchi pretty defensively. 6D and 4D additions were big though. I think we played a few times in those days; I was so much more terrible then.
  18. ^^CT Litchi was fun. I think I was the only one who used the Itsuu C IAD J.c delayed haku or whatever combo route. I miss 3c cancel into Itsuu.
  19. ^^Sometimes when people can safely press buttons right before I tech, i can flinch DP thinking I'm getting attacked or they mistimed an attack. I've had success baiting some DPs with just movement.
  20. Yeah, this is something I have to pay attention on and improve. I'm not too strong with oki. I am probably just straight up improvising. I tend to either dash meaty, dash backdash, dash tick or do a risky dash back jump orb or tk orb. I'll also in the corner stand back 3c range and orb or IAD j.C delay j.CC. I wonder if orb is why Tsubaki can't 22D unblockable? If you like to dash 2a/5a mash or something to stop people from rolling out, you do that and then block as they wake up. It just comes down to selling it. I don't have real setups.
  21. It would look stupid but 3cc>5c gatling haha. lol, silly stuff.
  22. you mean? 5BB 2BB 6BB 5CC 2CC or am I mistaken? Interesting: Mugen install as a sort of Goku Moroha.
  23. I guess there is too much Tsubaki discussion in here. I guess she's getting some love right now. When is the next loketest? I'm curious what is the timetable for this new patch. Between P4U and Xrd? There are so many games to track right now.
  24. Hey, how do people deal with people that jump or double jump just above there heads. It's the one place that I need to learn to react to in that scramble. I'm so used to using 5a anti-air with Litchi. A jin crossup j.D murders me. My initial quick answer was to j.A. I haven't played in a few days though (visiting nephew and all that extra internet lag).
