I think u should ask this on combo thread ... but still related to self improvement, so whatever >.> Well if u search on the old combo thread ... there's a .gif that explain how to hit with lightning arrow, but can't find it =_= ... i'll try to help as i can. In my case i found looping 214c~d>214b~d easier than 214b~d>214c~d. on 214c~d, u started charging when Makoto is on maximum height of her jump (she is on lifebar height). then on 214b~d ... u do the similar i think, delay a bit for the d charge then go to practice, 1st i'm suggesting Rachel as dummy, since u can mess your timing as much as u can on her silly hitbox ... once u get the combos red beat on her move on to Ragna/Haku/Mu then Jin <- if u can do it on Jin, u should'n't have too much trouble hitting most of the cast i think (Hazama / litchi have weird hitbox =_=)

Just my 2 cent On far mid screen ... i'm suggesting corner carry for normal starter or back throw into PF orb combo... for forward throw, after b+c, 214a~c~d, 2d if corner is on proximity i'll go into Arrow route with C asteroid starter .... iirc, if u forward throw on starting position, u can go into arrow route from there. on AA... i'd like to assume most of it is ch hit confirm what i currently practicing 6a(ch) > 6[6]a > 2d(1) > 5cc > 2d(3) > orb route other version is 6a(ch) > 5b > 6a > 2d > orb .... <- got trouble to hit with 2d so i don't use this for corner throw, what i do recently is b+c > 6a > 5d > 662c > 2d > j.d > arrow ... 5.7k~6.7k ... i may have some idea push this to 6~7k... but not really sure

  5. and i'm saying 2a>3c will get you killed on block string, it's good if the 3c actually hit since it leaves you on +f(on normal block) u don't even need to wary what he does after since your jab wil ch all his option except ID ... but i've never bother to use it anymore, since my friend who plays ragna, never fail to fatal it

  8. 2a>6b is good to use once in a blue moon, but seriously 2a>3c will get you killed every time u use it.

I see u eat some nasty 6b ch there i'll suggest instead of poking him out, Be patience and parry his frame trap, it can be done on reaction but i'm not sure how viable this tactic online if there is Lag... and your 2a's is really good on this match so stay grounded and need to shape up on combos department~~~

I'm talking about bad reads that didn't came as often as scrubs mashing winds ... that i wish so . lobbed lobelias can even makes a bad read works on her favor with wind The problem with Corona Upper is ... why the hell Rachel want to be on Makoto DP range? =_= ... mix up with 2 wind is also very viable imo especialy if she has 50% heat ... Baden2x Lily combo is fucking long 1st off i don't agree to never ever use 3c/5d as opener... since it cut Makoto option just damn too much, just imagine Makoto without 3c at Opening match with Rachel ... say hello to A lobelias~~~ Yes there's a limit to wind gauge but then again makoto can't afford to makes any mistake since Rachel can almost fully recover her gauge on a single combo This is just one hell of a match up i'll take Mu/Hazama anytime but Rachel is ... @crossell : i'm not really sure if it's patience issue ... i'm quite certain about 50% of my match up against her end up on time out

I've been playing this match up for 3 weeks and come in conclusion ... this is one of Mak worst match up even if Rachel makes a wrong read, she can just blow the squirrel away to the corner of the screen =_= ... and Lobelia's fucking fast i can's seem to react with BBS on time i do agree her rush down isn't really good, but Mak lack the range to have the ability to counter her rush down ... comet cannon approach isn't too effective, especially if George already out, she'll most likely forced to block George, if she force the way with it The opening match up is quite mind blowing... sure she can't just throw Lobelia a at the start of the match every time, but if i react on it, most of the time i just can get her on blocking instead of 6k on the clean 3c hit =_= (thought everyone now just burst out if i hit with 2c/3c ), if she iad back i can get 5d to hit, but if i guess wrong i eat Lobelia counter another option she had is just jump/double jump and pumpkin ... whatever. she end up zoning our poor squirrel in the end =_= and what makes things worst her space control ability just too godlike that cripple Mak damage output too 2k~3k on each hit so far my best tactic on her is, get a health lead and try my best not to get caught on any hit, seriously need approaching tips, since she can just blow away the squirrel with Lobelias and D's

I'm playing Tsubaki a lot before Makoto available and in my notes everything beat Tsubaki Dive, you can just 6a any of her dive an get ch, and the 236d iirc this move leave her on frame advantage if blocked, jabbing her out after blocked 236d isn't really a good idea imo and i'm disagree with predictable blockstring, Tsubaki 5b leave her at +1, from there she has option to rushing in again, go low/high or bait your reversal, her blockstring is pretty decent imo especially if u hit confirm a lot
