  1. Been a few weeks since the loketests... Hopefully another one is soon. In the past Arc has had a history of weekly loketests close to release. -9
  2. But when your character's no longer meant to move quickly, that's fair. -9
  3. That actually sounds like a good idea, especially since her FB would allow for that quick mobility of getting across the screen, but at a cost. -9
  4. First post on here in a long time... I'm sure it would be noticed by now if it had been, but I'm curious if anything about far Slash has changed. I thought it's AC implementation was kinda weaksauce. It worked for super-spammy corner stuff, but that's dumb and not too practical, plus it removed an option for Sol combos. And I agree that looking for VCL changes are important. I don't think they'd give her Lvl. 5 back, but that would be incredible. HCL's current changes I'll need to see. Double airdash is going to be RIDICULOUS. Can't believe they did that, although at the same time in many ways I feel she should have had it already :D I don't think they'll make projectiles build guard bar again... or not much if they do. -9
  5. In JP AC+ though, those two stages specifically didn't let you do that. I know the button code (hold either L2 or R2 when picking Slash stages) worked for the other stages, but not those two. Fairly certain of this, but can't double-check right now. Can't speak for US AC+. -9
  6. This is hardly really even news, but I just noticed something: http://guiltygearx.com/community/image/0419/03.jpg Stage is the #Reload version of Kliff's stage, but even using the code in AC+ (JPN release, can't confirm on US), the #R version wasn't selectable (neither was Justice's #R version), only the Slash one was. Then again, it's story mode, which I didn't even play through... so unless it shows up in that mode, it's probably an addition. -9
  7. Holy crap, didn't realize the PS2 collection had input lag... but I ever play the CPS2 board. Anyone know how bad the lag is? Is there a video demonstrating this somewhere? -9
  8. Seems intended. Just picked up the "all about vampire savior" book which mentions EX CPU characters. Pic shows the VS2 vanity paradise stage in the screenshot. (And congrats!) -9
  9. The sounds in the JP home releases from #R on actually have altered sounds rather than the Beep censored ones. So you could maybe even say that the home JP releases are more censored (I believe original XX had the beep for both JP and US... it was definitely in US). Actually, US AC plus is the only game post XX to still have the beep... Both JP versions cut them, and the US AC original release is missing them too. Example: I-NO: Gobusata~~ *BEEP*-YAROU!! [You haven't written~~ *BEEP*-HOLE!!] was shortened to just "Gobusata". The intro animation wasn't shortened though, so you can see her mouth move afterwards. Normally Boss I-no's blue burst has a beep sound too, but the JP releases actually uses a different voice sample entirely from the older games instead. My preference is the beep, although one could argue it's worse for if you play her. Nothing broadcasts that you're bursting like a loud beep noise. What's more frustrating is that boss I-no voice LITERALLY NEVER gets used in Versus in AC or AC+. Hopefully this gets addressed. -9
  10. I believe it's one of her Random+Conditions ones. The PS2 collection has a dipswitch that makes it possible to enable these by holding buttons. 1-12: Morrigan's secret winposes require a random chance in addition to certain conditions being met. (If turned off, they can be selected with LP + LK, MP + MK, and HP + HK.) Anak has a similar dipswitch with the coin minigame to get large coins, not sure about no coins. -9
  11. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/15/capcom-registers-new-darkstalkers-trademark-in-europe/ Could mean nothing. Could mean an HD port ala 3SOE. Probably doesn't mean a new game. -9
  12. Actually, I found it! I thought I had the page bookmarked, but I think the thread may have changed names... In case you're interested: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/vampire-community-thread-ggpo-hitbox-overlay-dustloop-tutorial-2-and-why-you-lose-to-me.119829/page-4#post-4755527 -9
  13. Does anyone have a copy of Felinki's dipswitch guide for the PS2 Collection? The really detailed one? The thread it was in is no longer on SRK. -9
  14. Seems built for that purpose too, as the FRC timing is three times larger for the air note. -9
  15. Not a 5th test. Continuation of 4th test. Same build. -9
  16. I'm oldman :( -9

  17. Lambda and Nu combos are absolutely different, even if you did play up close. Only real similarity is they generally end up going into j.dd, j.dd 214D. -9
  18. You can kill off offensive burst now. -9
  19. .......................................... -9
  20. Most of I-No's reload combos were pretty corner dependent, and relied on jump installing. It's been awhile (forever) since I've played it, but you'd probably want to omit the last jh and do CL FRC etc after the 5h (if possible. Again, I've forgotten a lot of it). Remember also that punch dive doesn't bounce in that game. EDIT: or if it puts them in the corner, after airdash 5H, Cl, land, kick CL, etc. Easily her worst game, btw. -9
  21. No, it wouldn't. And no, they didn't. -9
  22. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8891058 Ragna vs Litchi, Rachel vs Tsubaki http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8891216 Rachel vs Rachel, Litchi vs Noel http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8891289 Tsubaki vs Litchi, Litchi vs Rachel http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8891376 Tsubaki vs Rachel, Litchi vs Litchi -9
  23. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8890067 Some Score Attack video. It's basically a Hakumen combo using Mugen and repeateded TK Tsubaki's, among other mugen combos. -9
