Can't really just teach it. Videos, training mode, games. it's not good enough to just do what other people do, you need to understand why you do the things you do, why it works, all of that.

Rachel is not free to Relius, but you have to play without using most of your tools because most of them just straight lose to relius facerolling his controller. It's a match where you have to play like a standard character mostly.

if you don't do a short charge after j236A> JD> JC, you'll let rolls pass. you can do it if you know they won't roll. any j236A ender tends to give you a good chunk of charge no matter what. I think solid mixup is more important than a bit more charge.

you know it didn't really occur to me before but with people delaying tech to avoid j236A oki, they can only delay it to a point or they'll get hit by the orb. It should be pretty possible to set up a safe jump that works if they try to delay tech the orb. the safe jump can then go into the fuzzy. Not sure if this is what you were saying. Maybe even the same timing? If they just techs and blocked, orb covers you, if they delay tech, safe jump? something to look up.

you can cancel landing recovery into a special. but to cancel the landing recovery with a special is like a 1f tight link.

i think the 236A canceling of landing recovery thing is too tight. jcc>OD>jcc or something would be easy though. if you could do jcc>od.jcc>j214c that'd be ideal. JB>JC gets a perfect timing for a deep jC too. I think if you do jA you might have to time it a bit better. Though JB>JC is a little bit tight (not as tight as EX). tho on the other hand I'm guessing if you whiff either a j.A or j.B you'll eat a wakeup DP, orb cover or not.

There was a hell of a lot of whining about antiairs in there. I don't want you to stop, I want you to realize you have a pretty decent anti-air (the best Relius in NA called it godlike). Once you get there, the rest will resolve itself.

the good thing about that is, you can't say it is not a viable option.. because it is literally your ONLY option. if you can get it down at least some of the time.. some of the time you live.

Your posts show up on the sidebar. and it's not relius forums, it's all over, pet peeves, netplay, etc. I have trouble just leaving some of these stuff. Like when kokonoe players were like omg B TIER!!! I called them on it.

Like I said, antiairs have weaknesses. Valk j.C manages to blow up A LOT of antiairs, Not just yours. Of the characters I've played, tsubaki has the weakest anti-air. Makoto's is probably the best, and Rachel's is really good too. But Rachel's antiair has some very big weaknesses of its own. it loses to things that tsubaki can handle with hers no problem. Unless you play koko, you're not going to have some antiair that is impervious to everything anyone might do in the air. Mu's 2c goes active slower, invuln MUCH slower, has less active frames, and recovers slower. it complements well with her other defenses, 6a, dp. I don't think there is any other 2c anti air that goes invuln as fast as Relius' anymore.

if you're not gonna accept it having a very big horizontal hitbox, tons of active frames, huge reward, 2c input, crouching hurtbox before it comes out as advantages then maybe it is totally shit. But I am tired of seeing : Tager Players: Everyone else has a better anti-air!!! Relius Players: Everyone else has a better anti-air!!! Bang Players: Please give me an an anti-air!! and I think it is bullshit. I've mained Tsubaki, Makoto, and Rachel and I know they all have good anti airs that all have serious weaknesses in certain areas, though in CP the overall all around best one is probably Makoto.

Def worse, or no antiair - Arakune, Tager, Bang. Relius' 2c is very similar to tsubaki's.

2c has an amazing hitbox and active frames. seriously. antiairs have weaknesses, yours is not the worst like you somehow think it is

you get out it's like hitting the lottery. you gotta love that sensation. for that one moment in time you become godlime. And don't do it man. it's not worth it. I played her for 6 months in EX and came to the conclusion she was equally as bad as tsubaki. It's gonna be the same in CP.

No problem. What is with the makoto ball in the sig. And so you played my tsubaki and rachel. Is my Rachel a bundle of joy like everyone says or do you like fighting tsubaki more.

jump beats most of his options are a 5d except for his little charge move. and if you IB that, you can punish with 5a. i usually get a couple 5a punishes of that every match. when you have him realizing he can be punished for that jumping or doing anything else is a bit easier.
