  1. I feel the other way around -- I have hella trouble AAing spaced assault, and most of wald's scary shit is far outside Linne's happy range to retaliate. Furthermore, ending strings in mujin/max distance kuuga isn't safe vs. wald w/ meter, because he can just drop the 720 on your arse and make you cry. Your anti-Wald poke game also feels harder than anti-Gordeau poke gameto me, but it may just be lack of exp talking on that one.
  2. paging byakuya players I need matchup exp
  3. Part of the issue (and this gets explained every time there's a topic like this) is that tons of the anime scene players are students with low budgets that can't afford to pot monster events, and it's not like tons of non-students aren't in the same boat. It's called the poverty scene for a reason.
  4. Are you guys running UNIEL? I don't see it listed anywhere, but it'd also be really weird to be running AH3LM/BB/GG and not be running UNIEL, especially since UNIEL looks to grab better numbers than AH3/GG right now. I'd really appreciate the clarification.
  5. Community agreement has been that you go to NEC for anime, for the most part. There's been an agreement for a while now that people will do their best to make it to NEC over any other EC major (hell, over any other non-EVO major), particularly if you're a WC player -- at least from what I've been seeing.
  6. it should be 6b you only get one jump cancel per combo, so
  7. air kuuga cs isn't a gimmick -- it's how you avoid getting wrecked or baited if your kuuga puts you in a bad spot rolling is primarily an option against projectiles in neutral, though yolo rollthrough more than has its place, and if people respect you, you can do really hilarious things during ex kuuga like roll through them twice and empty assault throw for lulz
  8. always dashblock with 6A+B~[4] imo faster to input
  9. 236B6 works for a quick dash after ground kuuga, so 236b6~A+B should make you roll pretty quickly also, if you don't like the above method obviously also works with a kuuga
  10. a couple of us asked coma about this earlier ...as it turns out, you can't actually airtech 6cc, much to everyone's surprise, so they just fall in front of you
  11. There are multiple places linked in the topic, and even bnbs listed within the first few posts -- please search before asking. As per your question, linne.txt is linked somewhere in here, and is exactly what you're looking for.
  12. Yeah. I'm checking, and it looks like only Linne can get hit by immediate 3C after OTG 2b, which enables the loop. In short, it's hilarious, but I don't think it's any sort of issue. Unless the meter gain is screwy, it's gonna be more work for less return, and since it only works on Linne, well... Just learn it and pocket it for ragequit tech =3
  13. step 5a pressure bell explains it earlier in the topic between this post, this post, and watching katou/fuse/jikangire, you should be able to figure it out
  14. AND YOU GET TO WATCH NISHINE FOR MATCHVIDS (I actually like watching Nishine more than Jikangire, Katou, or Fuse's Linnes)
  15. I feel like this vid kinda misses the point. For example, sure, I could shield>dp most of his strings, but shield isn't ib -- it carries massive inherent risk, especially against a character with a cmd grab that gets a free grd break if you're too shield-happy in assim range. These options are fairly dangerous. Also, this is about dealing w/ gord on a micro level, but not a macro one, so it also leaves out important matchflow answers to Gord; additionally, it completely neglects neutral game, paying attention to whether or not gord has cs and how that should affect how you play against some of these options, etc. Don't get me wrong -- I mean, what's there obviously works -- but you really don't want to think, "Hey, I can just shield>dp Gordeau all day, this is free!" You'll get blown the fuck up. The video has useful information, but gives it no context, and thus, by itself, it doesn't give -enough- information to actually put this tech to use intelligently.
  16. you have a fake frc, basically who cares about the requirements lol
  17. so, someone checked the code it's confirmed as a feature, put in the game by fb (apparently, byakuya used to have an air b+c, but that's a tangent)
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2AbqJa9HZg
  19. it has a minimum grd requirement to be honest, it seems intentional, if weird the behavior is too bizarre to be a glitch
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jnqeeVcJLE This the vid?
  21. You can say that, but fact is, a lot of the cast struggles to even get in on Gordeau without a hard read. Being able to zone Gordeau effectively and convert random hits into setplay against Gordeau is very strong.
  22. What I hear is that her matchups are basically very lopsided. She fares well against top tier (zones Gord fine, for example), but not so well against, say, Linne (who has roll + ex hien), etc.
  23. kk, was actually unsure of ch properties on assault EDIT: I'm assuming this means we need to CH confirm assault combos if possible?
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDkn984ENSo&t=38m3s ? CH, no vorpal, 2.7k with hard down
  25. http://finalclause.dantarion.com/hitboxes/#8/0/0 You'll have to figure out which is which yourself, but...
