  1. I think he means to compete with BB, as in, get BB's market and make them go "this is better"
  2. It counts how many UNREAL BLACK THINGS you have stocked. When you fill the seed meter (aka UNREAL BLACK THINGS METER), you can do your UNREAL BLACK THING FINISH, which is an instant epic K.O. Clearly, this is what that meter does.

  5. This doesn't exactly fall under gameplay, but I figured I'd ask anyways. Advice on starting up a community/scene from what seems like scratch? I'm at university atm and that's sort of where I'd like to start some stuff up, if that changes/helps anything
  6. Yeah. One day, I sat down and looked at the frame data, and just headdesked. I barely use 3C right now (outside of 2C/3C OS), but it has 100 P1, so it's got fucking great rewards when it hits, and you can do combos off it usually reserved for clean 22D. I looked at 214D, and just thought "damn, why am I not using this at all in pressure when I have the meter? It gives +5 like Dead Spike, but it's got faster startup and leads to awesome, easily confirmed combos on hit." At that point, I really began to understand that it's not that Tsu's good pressure is still absolutely awful -- it's not. It's just that her good options all cost charge she often isn't willing to spend (or doesn't have).

  8. How did you spend those 25 hours? Did you autopilot, try to understand the game well, play against bad players, play against good players, etc. Melty looks really simple on first glance, but it's a lot deeper of a fighter than you'd imagine. So you mashed stick motions and buttons at the same time! So pro.

  15. Not gonna lie, I think I like the Ragna that beat that Tsubaki better than that Tsubaki I want to see a srs JP Tsubaki hero, and this Kuyaki guy ain't doin' it for me

  18. That covers IB -> DP, but what about IB -> mash, etc.? Some of his moves theoretically have enough disadvantage to even poke out with something as slow as 5B. Better Ragnas probably won't exactly spam those moves without RC to cover, I admit, but the possibility is still there (-11 after 3C, for example).
  19. Agreeing. If you look at the frame data, lots of Tsu's non-followup normals are actually /better/ on block than Ragna's. His shit is super unsafe -- which is why a massive part of his game involves burning meter on RC to make his mixup better and safer. The problem in this matchup is less about Ragna's pressure, and more about how there's this sweet spot for Ragna where everything he does stuffs everything you do. A Ragna who can space right in this matchup is fucking scary.
