  1. >People talking about Melty YESSSSSSSSSS Btw, LK mains H-Kohaku
  2. Damn, I went off on you. My bad. Thanks a ton for actually being really helpful with your response. I appreciate it. Now, if only I could find a video like that for my monitor = /
  3. Like I said, I mean the "GTFO out of my bubble" sort of deal -- keeping your space intact, stuffing approaches. It's vaguely mentioned in your AA sections, but it's a bit more than that. Should be relevant to most characters. Not necessarily all matchups, sure, but most characters should have defensive zoning options/options for keeping their space THEIR space.
  4. Needs more emphasis on defensive zoning (aka GTFO OF MY BUBBLE) when discussing neutral, IMO. It's pretty important.
  5. lolwhat someone hand this man a fighting game dictionary
  6. ...What? It's my understanding that the stopwatch test is pretty damn accurate. Where is this result coming from?
  7. Getting the players who actually know stuff solidly. I.E., likely not me
  8. There's so much shit wrong with this that I can't even begin to formulate a post. Bluntly put, doing that will result in me getting hit and taking damage I can't afford to take. Instant block laughs at your assertions that netplay is anything like offline.
  9. Okay. Played neutral like not-idiots.
  10. A) Once you're in pressure, good job, you just FAILED to keep them out. And SEEING the approach? Oh, you. If I want to AA, I have to throw out 2C, but, even if I see them jump, I need to guess if they'll do one jump or two. If I try to wait for the second jump, they'll be in by the time I would've AA'd. If I toss 2C for jump one, and they do jump two, THEY'RE IN. Such a pro understanding of neutral game, Raiza. Maybe you should play it more. EDIT: And protip: MOST LOWS ARE TOO FAST TO REACT TO. Read the goddamn frame data.
  11. A) You NEED to make guesses sometimes to keep people out. Unless you're a fan of letting people in for free and run train on you, once they're ~half a screen away or less, keeping them out is more about prediction than reaction. B) You're implying that anyone even fucking bothers to play neutral online in BB. I can think of like 5 players who have actually bothered to play neutral online
  12. Still need to learn to use install, at the very least, so... Not there yet.
  13. If I do break and decide to import this (I'm getting scarily close, honestly), is there any place that'd be preferable to get it from?
  14. I have never played AH before, and I hadn't seen any AH vids until today. I watched like three videos of AH3 today. I'm so tempted to import now >_<
  15. I find it really interesting that you have Rachel over Tsubaki, since general opinion is the reverse. Care to explain? Apparently, I need to play good Jin players = /
  16. Does to me. I mean, I doubt some of the mechanics problems were fixed, but the game just feels more playable due to some of the changes
  17. Oh my god, the game feels so much better now.
  18. Thing is, wakeup throw and dead spike /are/ worth the risk. Can't speak for makoto's 3C, but, since I'm Tsubaki, wakeup throw->install in the corner is one of my most powerful options (4k min if I can install). You've got to do it right -- don't telegraph the throw so much, or telegraph false throws here and there so that they don't know if you're throwing or not. Dead Spike is +5 -- once it's out, it's fucking out, and if you're opponent is cornered and still has to block, gg, eat more blockstrings. It'd be especially powerful on an opponent who respects hard. Obviously, there are times /not/ to toss those out, but saying they shouldn't be used at all is kind of absurd/
  19. If I eyeballed it per hit, it'd probably be Hakumen. Generally, though, all the characters can put out rape-tier damage in the right situation.
  20. If you played Tsu to troll, I suppose a legit Tsu wouldn't be quite so troll. = / Also, no 22Dxn
  21. This thread... was a bad idea. I'd almost put money on it being closed by the time I wake up tomorrow.
  22. Why is 3c safe, btw? It's got just as much disadvantage as 5bb
  23. Well, there's also the fact that a character like Hakumen screws with /your/ risk/reward. Things that would normally just get blocked (and, for this example, have minimal risk) instead have the chance of resulting in you eating serious damage (making most things you do much more dangerous).
  24. I'd say it's more in what your opponent will let you get away with. There's no reason to assume your opponent will mash you out until they actually /do/, so...
  25. 2AAAAAAAAAAAA No, seriously, it's legit for Tsubaki >_>
