I'm offended, sir. I've been backing the Bed since the beginning. I really just wish he got as much love as Ramlethal. You'd think with them both being new characters you'd see an equal amount of players exploring both. I mean seriously, what has Ramlethal got that Bedman don't got?! (don't answer that) Mitsuru is a great player, though. From the small amount of footage I've seen. Now with him, LOX and Tsubu that makes 3 notable Bed fellows. There was also one that qualified for Arc Revo named Nakasu. I really want to see his Bedman in action and see what kinda tactics he's using.

Maybe she'll drop to A+ tier.

Yeah I've seen Spinny Seal last long enough to be used twice in the same pressure string which is nice.

Death Chicken hopeful here. Unfortunately I took too long preordering so I don't think I'll get my copy as soon as I hoped. But seeing you guys playing the one true character will be enough to tide me over.

Yo does it? I kinda interpreted it her 'fighting' the same way a dude like Pokemon trainer 'fought' in Brawl. Or maaaaaaybe at most like Chang and Choi in KoF. It's just when it says that she is meant to be beginner friendly, I don't really think of full blown puppet character.

As a guy who R1'd through all of CP's story mode, I can say I only know Celica through still images. Maybe that's why I don't get the hate. Actually the opposite. New characters are always fun. Sorry, I dunno how dumb this sounds, but I just have a quick question about RC's in Xrd. Since RC has startup frames now (6 for YRC iirc) do you think we could see people beating it on reaction with moves that are faster? Like if Venom YRC's Stinger Aim during a blockstring, can Sol use VV (5 frame startup iirc) to punish Venom? I dunno if it's possible to react to a 6 frame move but do you think it's a possible tactic to be explored more in Xrd's lifetime. I was thinking about it because people were talking about being hit out of YRC a few pages back.

So, is there an official name for the new roman cancels? Is there something unique they're called on the website? I don't mind calling them YRC or PRC but something tells me it's something strange like Overture's 'Modern Roman Cancels' or whatever.

His DoT also isn't fullscreen anymore. I dunno how much it hurts (especially considering some of his other stuff).

Looks like there are some new screenshots as well. Or at least some I haven't seen before. Looks like he has an air version of his fireball (which looks pretty big). Also see some kind of sweep he's using on Venom and Ramlethal. Safe to say one is his 2D. One looks kinda reminiscent of Ky's 2D while the other looks like a breakdancing maneuver. Looks great.

Would kill to see Sin in action. I dont think a character short of Anji will get me off the Bedman bandwagon but I'm always hype to see new characters. I have a feeling Sin ain't the last either. Think we'll at least get one more.

You can. Bedman can do 6HS (Bed-jackhound) from his throw. There are some other examples but I'm totally spacing right now. Ahh I see. I thought they were going down the translated move name route like Hazama in BB. Then again, it's no big deal.

That is true. It was my plan to use Death Chicken and fraud out some wins before people wised up but if I wait everyone'll get that head start. Damn. Oh man, maybe I should just stick with my import...

Y'know, I had a feeling it would come out over here, Aksys is pretty beastly when it comes to localizing the niche fighters. Oh now for my MAD STRUGGLE, I wanna play it but I dunno if it's 'import it' want it or 'calm your tits and wait' want it.

Xrd as a whole seems super solid for a "first attempt" game in a series, at least from what I've seen. Especially looking back at games like vanilla SFIV, Marvel 3 or BB which all had their shares of some bullshit (which is understandable of course). All the stuff in Xrd that seems kind of strange'll be ironed out and tweaked in later versions but yeah for now things seem pretty tame. Then again we are only 5 months in, Lol.

And Byakuya is just "I don't care, I'm high as shit."

Gotta say, watching LOX's Bedman go to town on Roi's Sol put a smile on my face. He had the dude completely contained!

So he has red and blue lightning? I was also expecting more 'flag' action, looks like he just beats you up with a polearm. I guess his special moves will 'keep the flag flying'. Also, do I see Raging Storm in that one shot against I-no?
