  1. Aw shit, I thought you were joking. For some reason my hype is really dwindling for fighters in general, and P4U/UNiB are pretty much my last hopes. Guilty seems awesome and all, but I don't see it happening. I'm still going to try and learn it; it won't hurt to improve myself either way. I'm also starting to focus more on other ambitions, and my free time is beginning to disappear. It comes down to either writing/producing or training sometimes, and the choice is becoming depressingly easier to make. Also wtf Dead Space. Isaac is getting younger with each game. http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/i411826-8/dead-space-3-leaked-screenshots-leaked-screenshots-of-dead-space-3.html
  2. Shouts to Tad for taking the time to show us shit in Guilty Gear. As always, you're a chill dude. Jackie for letting me steal his phone to view the Meat Cello. Klein for some fun Slayer matches, I need to bring my own pad next time so we can really go in. Papstr for looking G as fuck so he could flash kick. Milln for bodying people in KoF. Astaroth for bodying me for free in BB, then never playing me in Soul Calibur. Naimat for being cool and giving us a ride and waiting with us. Kain for making it down here yet again. Bomba for being chill with me groping his fight stick and fumbling blindly with his crazy ps2 setup. In hindsight, that sounds about as straight as Jackie. Dude whose name escapes me for volunteering the brokest nigga in the room to pay for everyone. Boomcube for now being remembered as the guy who told me the MLP fighter is real. . .
  3. I could ignore Soul Calibur's bs as just typical tier things until this. How the balls does Mitsurugi duck a shoulder ram with his low? I get ducking horizontals, but when my shoulder is in your face it shouldn't matter if it's considered mid, considering my arm is ramming his torso and my shoulder is breaking his nose. But nah, let's just give it to Mitsurugi. I should've been putting all of this time into GG. Dunno if I'll be able to make it up tomorrow, but I haven't been putting enough work into the game I want to play anyway. Also, lol MTW.
  4. IT'S TIME TO RRRROCK. Jackie, what have you done!? Also: commercial space-travel and Russian-Japanese moon bases, fuck yeah. And summer and whatnot, yay.
  5. NAW FUCK YOU NIGGAS I'M GOING BACK TO BAIKEN GAWD
  6. Loving Soul Calibur. Once I get these last few exams outta the way I'mma go in learning Hilde and figuring out how the balls Slayer works. Setup sounds cool, even if it's gonna be uncomfortable again. Not even sure what I'll enter. As for Guilty Gear, the only person you didn't mention that I remember expressing any interest in it was Jackie, and I'm sure if he decided to pick it up he'd take it seriously. Matter of fact, he's probably more likely to get legit than I am. Slayer be confusing.
  7. So, uh. Fuck Hulk. I can see why people love MvC3, though.
  8. Huzzah for escaping tax-subsidized babysitting. . .
  9. Volpe is busy preparing to usurp Tad's GG throne and biding his time for Persona 4 Ultimate.
  10. Looks like I might not be able to make it tomorrow. Depends on how my mom feels.
  11. Man I need to start playing GG more. . . Kriss wrecked mah shit for free. Doin that secret training and shit. I thought he was busy with Marvel. :@ And yeah. MTN thread has been relegated to facebook status.
  12. Sounds fun, I want to try more SCV and I'm also starting to miss KOF.

  14. My point was Hei is free. . . Compared to Hei. He's still badass. @Avengers - Newton says it's good enough that he's going to go see it every day this weekend.
  15. He didn't have his powers at that point, he was limited to pulling on the wire to set her off balance. (Which he could have gotten creative with, instead of standing there like an easy target.) I'm leaning toward him throwing that one, though. He had a chance to create an opening that he apparently refused to take advantage of. Just something in the way he mentioned the other character made it seemed like he had this planned. Because it's just the kinda guy I am, I'm probably going to re-watch season 1 just to analyze his tactics and break it down into a tl;dr nerd-fest. He's still skilled in Season 2, he's just mopey and crap due to plot. He fights on par with that chick once, then beats her with a single punch to the diaphragm in another encounter. In the rest of his few other 1v1s he needs to be saved from the brink of death, and I recall him needing a good bit of help in the first season too. I don't mind when the main character loses, I just hate when he doesn't lose realistically. If someone has an opportunity to strike (especially someone trained in dealing with contractors since adolescence), they should take it, or at least attempt to. I see Hei hesitate far too often; it's like they crank up the derp just for plot convenience. It's either that or he's just extremely complacent due to acquiring powers; several characters have even commented on the decline in his skill.
  16. He pulls through due to plot armor and ridiculous tools that he just spams with the finesse of a stylish Ragna. Hence, freedom. Or rather, he's free relative to his true potential. He squanders his tier by fighting poorly. He puts up the front of a highly skilled assassin, but in the end it's just muscle memory from his more skilled days. His execution is still up there, but he gets in to play two player training mode. He's clumsy (for him), predictable, and he's very bad at adapting mid-fight.
  17. All I'm sayin' is an entirely pragmatic, legitimate contractor Hei for Season 3 would be godlike. Probably too godlike. But I'll be damned if that wouldn't be an amazing watch.
  18. Well I mean when you state the facts you state the facts, regardless of what they point to. I'm not saying he isn't a beast, just that he's free when you evaluate his performance and then the tools available to him. Generally the only case for his mind games is Hei vs. Wei and MAYBE a few others. Haven't seen the first season in a good minute. In 1v1, he typically ends up needing rescue in one form or another. I honestly think he just doesn't give a fuck whether he lives or dies.
  19. So what was up with that vlog thing you were talking about, Tad?
