  1. Renka had bonus poration before.
  2. Most of her changes are largely unknown right now. However the change to Hakumen's counters (no grab when countering projectiles) severely hurts our ability to stop her oki.
  3. Here's something for reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxAnUSs60E8&list=UU2pktn2f2GhehxvFXFeCOQg
  4. Its been a long time since I got into Grand Finals for our local tournament but it finally happened last weekend. Please give me any advice you have. I'm particularly happy with how I played against Bmeister barring some combo drops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxAnUSs60E8&list=UU2pktn2f2GhehxvFXFeCOQg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg0IKeDVoQE&index=7&list=UU2pktn2f2GhehxvFXFeCOQg
  5. This was an interesting CH 3C combo film did here. http://youtu.be/MP4JomQFCXM?list=UUrGNVruyuifBK_GeeWN2Rgw And two other matches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9z8NXzaTWM&list=UUrGNVruyuifBK_GeeWN2Rgw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha9vyNbd9GA&list=UUrGNVruyuifBK_GeeWN2Rgw
  6. Here's some hakumen footage you may not have seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBpOI7-ZRxQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfHj4F01oZI
  7. It might have a different effect while being used to OTG. Perhaps they wanted us to not have autopilot burst bait combos.
  8. Something like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC4n1dIIBWg
  9. Just some observations I saw from that stream. -Renka (1) doesn't knock down anymore, causes stagger stun -Counters don't give meter for countering projectile, only successful grab gives 1 star once again -Seems there's some way to determine when the counter grab comes out. -backthrow causes ground bounce similar to CT counter grabs, can combo into using kishuu > staircase combo
  10. Hakumen will have to resort to special canceling it into gurren and renka to keep it safe unless enma is relatively safe on block now.
  11. Just got a chance to look at the Hakumen changes. The catch to yukikaze doesn't seem that useful if it doesn't freeze the opponent in place. However being able to cancel a drive into shippu will be a great way to punish zoners. It will still probably lose to multi hit moves but we just have to find the proper gaps to implement that in. I'm wondering if Hotaru is the only way to get a full length OD in combos now.
  12. I'm fairly certain its not Hakumen's hitbox that needs to be changed but probably air hitbox sizes that need to be adjusted.

  14. We will have to unit cookie dough harder.... stronger..... faster........... Oh and Mugen, can't forget about good old Mugen!
  15. Our affinity for avatars looking at their hand has now accumulated in a super strong enma punch. Also maybe they just wanted to give every non sword special of hakumen a brush stroke. Renka, hotaru, and agito both have brush strokes, enma was kinda the outlier if you look at it like that.
  16. Looks like Enma was just given the brush stroke effect.
  17. Yes 3C is very strong and difficult to deal with but keep in mind that Kokonoe will either lay a trap, bunker, or graviton to try and maintain momentum and those are all spots where you have an opportunity to do something. trap - mash out with 2A or 3C bunker - block punish the move with 2A graviton - punish with 3C or gurren, if gurren is blocked begin pressuring (use whichever based on the range) If she doesn't do any of the above then she's at -4 which is your time to also start attacking. Also this is a Kokonoe match up thread not a BananaKen thread so ways to stop teleport and superball are all valid as different players will use it to varying degrees and you need to pick up on those patterns.
  18. Here is the video I was talking about for the Haku vs Koko matchup. Its unscripted but I hope you guys find it useful, and opens up more discussion on the topic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM5sj3yFCvw&feature=youtu.be This is also the FT5 we had right after making the vid so you can see some of the things we were talking about being implemented. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CthoYpgmFW4&list=UULClznyEW0FMuM0jYEFJ7AA
  19. I said punish 214A after block with 2A. Not interrupt the string with 2A. Also you're trying to hard to find a single solution for dealing with Kokone's stuff. You have to read your opponent and react with the appropriate response.
  20. if the Kokonoe is using 3C > 214A alot you can just punish the 214A with 2A, 3C or use 2D to counter it. Seems more reliable than a trade.
  21. Bmeister and I may make a video discussing options for both haku and koko with regards to the matchup in the near future. So stay tuned for rambling and ranting.
  22. Really? I don't think the matchup is that lopsided. Counters really screw with Kokonoe's traditional oki though the neutral game is definitely in her favor. I might post more of my thoughts on this in the koko MU thread.
  23. You can use shippu after 5C and charge it to lvl 2 to avoid the superball like I show in this corner combo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEtXE4AcSN8&list=UULClznyEW0FMuM0jYEFJ7AA To my knowledge the void has never fully protected us from superball.
  24. I just want to mention that with that setup with the Kokonoe had teched immediately then teleported they would've avoided yukikaze. A neat setup but it isn't guaranteed
  25. So this happened. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJctSM8CBPs&feature=youtu.be Guess j.D's hitbox wasn't really nerfed in CP haha
