'cause gaining magatama from projectile is so going to help in 90% of the match-ups. >_> We need to spend more metre to do less damage, and the only buffs we get to metre gain is that succesfull Zanshin always gives magatama and OD? Seems like Hakumen is going to be one-chance character in this installation.

  6. You're not baiting it correctly. You don't "bait" Zanshin with projectile oki. You bait it with running in and stopping/jumping away. Use some throw mix-up and Hakumen won't have the balls to use it. I mean, purple throws I would say are very safe. Succesful Zanshin gives us about 3k. Bait it correctly and get a CH combo for some characters can go all the way up to 5k. Why JD was nerfed? Because unlike all other reversals, Hakumen must choose between blocking underknees and overheads, but this is circumvented with JD. Yes. ^This. I can't see how Hakumen is viable when his defence is greatly weakened, lost all corner carry and must spend more magatama to do less damage. Why Hakumen appealed to me most was because of his uniqueness. I mean Zanshin is a pretty unique game mechanic, the magatama system is pretty unique and the fact that he uses air dash instead of jump cancel in his aerial combos are quite unique. I can't be loyal to someone I don't know. They've removed Hakumen (白面) from this game, there is a look-a-like Jakumen (弱面) though. If you activate OD and then win the round or lose the round before your OD time is over, you seem to get 33% back. GG had way too low resolution and played way too fast for a noob like me, who had never played a 2D fighter before. And then we have to FD every ground to air and throws are 1F start-up? Good way to welcome new players... I don't see any problem with hating SameFighter though : p Interviewer: People are expecting Kokonoe. Mori: People should know that I am a liar.   11. I miss the boobies... T_T [total impression based opinion] Even though Zanshin is very good against the characters you mentioned, and let us not forget Lambda and Mu. But for what I have seen, it's not like this match-ups are 80-20 for Hakumen. If they are going to nerf Hakumens most important (?) tool vs Carl/Relius which I would say is a 50/50 match-ups, they should nerf Hazamas/Valkenhayns/Taokakas movement as well, as they are at least 60/40 (probably 70/30) match-ups for Tager. [/total impression based opinion] And I will still claim that ID > Zanshin. Though, regarding the Zanshin nerfes, I think the 6D is the worst. I just don't understand it, especially as 5D seems to be delayable in some fashion.
  12. I'm not concerned about the strength of the pull in, I'm concerned that the only thing you can chain from Collider is 2D or Sparkryuuken midscreen, because of the new bouncing direction. Though, I must say Tager looks pretty solid today. Seems like they're trying to make him combo without Collider. Collider works wonder into corner though. I will only go into this discussion, if you don't mind discussing it with me who has played very little. I can only base my opinions on whatever the Japanese pros does in the videos Jourdal and Pktazn uploads, as I have very little experience myself. If you are okay with that, I will explain how I view it. Fuumajin is only active three in game seconds. You barely have the time to do anything with it anyway. But according to JBBS Fuumajin lost active time last Loketest. No. From what I could see it works exactly the same as before, though opponent was hit during the first "swing" so I can't say whether you can control it better now. What happens when you are hit have an entirely new animation though! Opponent is trapped in a spider web that covers the whole screen, then eyes appears, from those eyes black spiders start to crawl out all over the screen... until everything is black. Astral Finish! and a rain of blood continues until the screen fades. "Damn you auto-correct!" Why doesn't my dictionary has such an important word as "loli"!? >_< I actually never left the entrance, so I have no idea of many people were inside. Though it seemed like after 23:00 it was mostly the same people playing. Or everyone just love Jin.

But I would go anyway today, because I must see if Shitmen reevolves into Hakumen. By the way, which did you prefer? HD or VGA?

  18. Rather the opposite. While most other characters do whatever > JX > jump JX > whatever, Hakumen has since CT done whatever > JX > dash JX > whatever, which is not possible anymore. Nerfed counters as well, and what makes the character more unique than his or her Drive? At the loketest each character had four colours, where as they were not same as CS. Some were similar though. Jakou slides, so I don't think you can combo after it midscreen even with rapid cancel. I've renamed the videos from "August Loketest" to "Loketest 1". I have some bad news though. I have some more videos, but they seem to become corrupted ever since I put them on my external drive. I can watch them, but it is hard to tell if something is as my computer is so slow that I cannot hope to view the videos without lag. If I try to move the files from the drive it says it cannot read the source after a while, and even if I try to upload directly to the tube, they get stuck after a while. I've successfully moved other files, so it the drive cannot be (completely) broken. Well, I guess they are outdated within 48 hours but, if anyone has a good idea, I'm up for it. EDIT: Apparently two videos had made it to the computer, so two new clips are up! ; )

  20. I think you gain more when you win than you lose when you lose, meaning that play time is "half" of the PSR.

  22. Regarding PSR. Not entirely sure how the system works but... If someone has 600 PSR and 90% win rate (i.e. wins nine out of ten matches) they are horribly underranked. You have to consider the opponents. When you are at 50% win rate you are correctly ranked, as players are as good as you. (Disregarding balance and match-ups) Right? ._.

  24. Hakumen without his J2A, who has been his best friend since CT, isn't Hakumen. There must be another way to make him fit in CP. T_T I hope that this first loketest is just pitching crazy ideas, and they'll nerf in appropriately.
  25. Good? Not much... New? A lot. Might put everything I know here. SYSTEM Overdrive increases magatama gain and makes Zanshin special cancelable. New Crush Trigger cost 2 magatama, and launches opponent straight up, chaining to 2C. NORMALS 6B is throw cancelable. (?) 2C floats lower. Forward throw causes stagger instead of blowback, chains to 5C. J2A doesn't reset gravity. JC wall sticks. J2C floats lower. DRIVE 5D is delayable. 6D is not instant, probably active from circa 10F. SPECIALS [*] New move Agito (J214A) supposedly crosses up from step, but is impossible to combo from even on counterhit and has low damage.[*] Kishuu lost projectile immunity. (?) [*] Hotaru floats Hakumen higher, launches opponent shorter and lost corner bounce. [*] Zantetsu damage nerfed to 2447. It is unknown if proration has changed to compensate. [*] Tsubaki doesn't slide, but doesn't chain to 2B. Supers [*] Mugen constantly drains at the 3x speed. [*] Shippuu during Mugen minimum damage nerfed. Probably missed something or got something wrong.
