  1. I don't remember if I read it in the changes thread or on the actual JBBS but, during the first two loketests his OD forced magnetism on opponent. Imagine Tager having the ability to get 10 seconds or more of magnetism which you cannot avoid. I am not entirely sure that they removed it, but I think that one time I saw his OD today there were no sparks at the opponent. The problem I see is that while whatever his OD does, it would be great in Extend, but the combo-crippled Tager in CP cannot really use it. I hope time proves me wrong.
  2. I think there are at least one Ragna there. But like I said, there were no Hakumen players there today. T_T
  3. You can special cancel jump start-up right? Meaning that 2147A will give you Gurren, but 214(4F)7A will give you Agito. Though you are right about the, shall we say, limited uses of TK Agito.
  4. Surprise! I heard about the loketest yesterday, so I took me a little trip to Akiba. This time there are three machines, two for match and one for single player. Almost everyone queued for the single player, so there were almost the same people playing over and over again at the versus screen. No Hakumen today made me sad. So sad that I even made a go at it. I think Azrael's Crush Trigger has super armour or guard point, it ate my 2A as it was nothing. Is this universal? Or am I trippin'? Something I can tell for sure though is using Overdrive only consumes 75% of Burst Gauge. I think they have changed Jin's Overdrive, I don't think all sword attack freezes anymore. At least I'm pretty sure I saw one sword attack hit during OD with no freeze. As I've heard and think that Tagers OD also is nerfed, it wouldn't surprise me. Well, expect videos soon.
  5. I (beginner!) did try Hakumen (once!) at the loketest today. As I am a D-pad player who haven't played the game for 7 months, I'll leave you to guess how good I am with the stick. My thoughts: * Agito surprised me positively, it was so fast and had great downward range * The dashes did indeed seem faster * I tried only once, but couldn't do 6B > 2A * I've heard that 6D is supposedly comboable, but they tech way to early for jump J2C * Hotaru clashed with one of Azrael's "dash attacks" * Didn't they change Renkas input so that it would be easier to TK Hotaru? Why did they put Agito on the same as Gurren?
  6. I think one guy mentioned that 6B chained to 2A always and thought maybe it would be able to be used in combos, but most other people seem to say otherwise. Added some more stuff to the changes thread; http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?14675-BBCP-System-Changes-Movelist-Translations-and-Loketest-Information-Anything-Else-INFRACTION&p=1414131&viewfull=1#post1414131 Seems like they're going haywire on trying to balance him out with the changes they have already made. I have a question for you guys who have played a lot of Hakumen, do you like these changes? I don't mean particuary nerfs or buffs or so, but how he is changing? To me, it seems like they are trying to make him more viable midscreen, increasing combo options, mix-up and cross-up options, at the expense of damage/magatama and his especially defence. I mean, I'm a conservative dick (and also a noob), I certainly don't like 95% of the changes they've made to him, but you guys who have been playing him for a much longer time, do you think he is moving in the right direction? Is it time to spice it up by changing how he plays?
  7. More Hakumen, sorry if something has already been posted; * max 6C force fatal counter? * max 6C causes wall bounce on air hit * Kishuu dodged Gashoukyaku * Shippuu's projectile causes stagger * Agito bounces on counter hit for combo * it seems like Tsubacopter is back: Mugen > Tsubacopter > 6C > Shippu gives 5,5k with Renka or 5C starter, or 7,4k with Tsubaki starter. Tsubaki > 6C might be character specific * Throw > Mugen > Renka/Shippuu connects. Massive recovery reduction on Mugen? Until post #328
  8. Guys, guys! I just looked at the JBBS and they have been talking about some very weird stuff laterly. I have no idea if they are talking about CP or EX. Maybe it just me interpretating it wrongly... Apparently, if you air throw closest possible to ground, you can cancel it with ground specials. o_O lowest JT > Mugen > 2B chains. lowest JT > Kishuu with 6C and 3C ender does around 4k. However, they agree that whatever this is, it will never become useful. After this, they seem to be discussing "feint moves" and okizeme with Hakumen.
  9. They are not seemingly uncomboable, 5D/2D are uncombable outside Kishin. 6D is always comboable, and there is rumours that low air JD chains to 5A.
  10. Extend. Gurren got repeat proration. And Zanshin whiffs on Ragna if he uses ID as it has ass-long invulnerability. Jin J2C > jump cancel block I don't know why they need balance a match-up that looks like nothing more than a 55-45 to me, while Tager have had 70-30's since CT. The problem isn't that they made it blockable. They removed 6D and made all of them blockable and gave them more hitstop for Hakumen and made 5D/2D uncomboable.
  11. I looked at the loketests notes for Extend, and all changes to Hakumen were final. A japanese guy at the JBBS said this has been the case for all installments. There IS reason to rage right now, there IS.
  12. The guys at the JBBS always asks the player whether Zanshin is advantegous on block or not, but no one seems to have an answer. Judging by this I would guess it is probably neutral on block. Yes! We can combo of 6B(CH) now and 2B gatlings to 3C! I'm so happy! It completely overshades the fact that they nerfed Tsubaki, Hotaru, Renka, Zanshin, Mugen, J2A, JB, 5A and 2A! Yukikaze... double quater-circles... my mortal enemy. I thought this was what your signature is all about?
  13. Well, saying that they haven't change 2D and JD isn't really fair. As far as I know they are blockable like 5D, and 2D isn't comboable outside OD. I've heard rumours that low-air JD chains to 5A as well. ...so, what do we use 6D for? Ultra-high-risk-small-reward instead of our other High-risk-minimal-reward?
  14. Well, 6D is the overhead counter right? And overheads are start at 17F, so having 6D 10F start-up is not a problem! ... oh, right, that's not how it works... >_>
  15. I mentioned I thought she was interesting becuase she is the only character with a special gauge(?), but no one asked me anymore about it : P From that one game I tried during the loketest I think this is how it works; 1) input and hold one of her specials 2) A/B/C will turn purple depending on which button you used, the other two turn blue 3) she will go into a stance where she moves slowly 4) you can press the two other buttons and she will attack, if you do they turn grey/black So basically you get three attacks out of one special. I have no idea how the A/B/C followups differs, and if it matters which button you just first.
  16. Which is... incredibly nerfed?
  17. My BB playlists are all videos from Jourdal and Pktazn (well bedore he got banker). I just save the matches I liked (which is mostly all Hakumen and Tager. : p)
  18. Well, a couple of guys wrote that they had written on those survey papers. Seems like Mori doesn't care. Checked Tager's, Tsubaki's and Noel's JBBS as well, so little information from TGS! Even though there apparently was a 130 minute to line to BB.
  19. There was constantly a 2 hour line for BBCP loketests. There was five guys except me at the last UN loketest. UN <<< BB when it comes to popularity. Apparently ArcSys hasn't changed Hakumen at all to TGS, so I guess it will be UN if I ever play something at the arcades.
  20. Hakumen JBBS; "I went to TGS today but, I couldn't find anything that had changed from the last loketest. Tsubaki > 2C blue beated, 6D still isn't 1F start-up. Probably nothing have changed."
  21. "I went to TGS today but, I couldn't find anything that had changed from the last loketest. Tsubaki > 2C blue beated, 6D still isn't 1F start-up. Probably nothing have changed." [ragequits]
  22. I took a quick look at one of the arcades where I live. There was only one machine, and I watched maybe seven matches. [spectating noob] I think I saw characters crouch under throws. O_O The characters that were played by the guys there was Hyde, Waldenstein, Gordeau and Linne. Either Waldenstein or the player was really weak. He doesn't seem to have any meterless reversal and his normals are all pretty slow and compared to some other characters I wouldn't say his reach is that good either. And he seems to prorate really bad, and his (hard-earned) combos doesn't seem to yield more damage than any other character. [/spectating noob]
  23. Which is why Zanshin should be the best frickin' reversals around so that he can get those real damaging 5+ magatama combos. : D I'm pretty sure you get it. As it is ArcSys seems to be on a war against Hakumen I would probably say that doesn't stack at all. : P You have to remember that Mugen now runs constantly at the spent-more-than-9-magatama-3x-speed, so you kind of have to use Kishin to get anything out of it. And you cannot Tsubacopter. Shippuu still ends Mugen. If you Mugen + Kishin + Shippuu, Mugen will end but you will still gain magatama from Kishin, so either Kishin neutralizes the massive cooldown or Mugen got no cooldown now. I still just wish they made Mugen 4+ instead of 8. ._. It is the only non-Astral 100% heat Distortion.
