  2. For real?! You just blew my world. It is "capital numbers" of 1, 2 and 3. Capital numbers are used on cash bills and to give a "old" feel. It is the same for Hakumens magatama metre; Instead of 一二三四五六七八 they use 壱弐参肆伍陸漆捌 "Kokuujin" is written 虚空陣 for Hakumen, and 虚空刃 for Jin. Literal meaning being "Empty Sky Battle Formation" and "Empty Sky Blade" respecitively. The only thing I see when he activates his DD is his BB-crest? ._. But as itsme said, it could be 狼 (wolf) and not 老 (old) you are looking for. This another video I cannot watch on the tube. I have been getting problems lately with the command bar disappearing, leaving me with nothing but a black box. Anyone have any idea what that is about? I don't think you can really trust the shield to be a visual cue. 2D's shield stay out way longer than it is active. Even if they hade made it without recovery what would you use it to? So... if 6D is active all its recovery, I guess it is a ( ・_・) ( ・_・)ノ⌐■―■ (⌐■_■) reversed reversal
  3. For the first one, I have problem hearing what he says because it hits with the CP-bitchslap sound just as he says it but, I'm pretty sure it is "kekkai ?zetsu". I'm pretty sure I hear a "o" before, so my guess it is "kyozetsu". Anyone with better ears than me can make a try. "Kekkai kyozetsu" would be something along the lines of "barrier rejection", which would somewhat make sense. In the other match he uses a sumo term, "waki ga amai", which means "(you have) poor defence". Gotta love trollin' Hakumen, says you have poor defence when he attacks with an unblockable and says you are slow when he attacks you with the games second fastest overhead. By the way, if it isn't changed from CS he says "kekkai kaihou" when he bursts, meaning "barrier release". Kind of makes sense, if you think about CT bursts. If you have any other questions about the Japanese around Hakumen feel free to ask.

  5. You can't CT during Mugen anyway. Second hit has vacuum effect, so it easier to combo of if you are doing Zantetsu at max range. Also, Renka lost its bonus proration so Renka is not as beneficial to cancel anymore.
  6. @Hakumen video: so we get a 8 second combo from Emma, guess that means that Emma is a godlike starter in CP standards. I laughed harder than you might think XD Zantetsu? Would 5C even connect? I wonder though if 6D is special cancelable, because it just felt like the time to follow up 6D was so short.
  7. I hardly believe you can do Emma from JD... that would be too... Shouryuuken XD Has anyone heard how you combo of 6D? (granted you'd ever land one) I don't think walk jump delay J2C works. I have to admit I kind of like how Agito as an ender looks... I just wish they had given J2A 10% repeat proration and made his combo like JB > J2A > dash JB/J2C > Agito : /

  13. About Zanshin being negative on block, it was just one person who mentioned it so it is not necassarily true. However, as they nerfed just about everything except the damage, it wouldn't surprise me either. Mori's plan: make counters so useless in their normal state, that they are so unexpected during OD that they always work. Combos, easy? I have never ever jump canceled in the air before! XD I was at the arcade today again, so expect some crappy footage. I tested OD and indeed full health is about 3 seconds and takes you to 3 magatama. (I guess you knew that from videos, but anyway) On the other hand low health Kishin gives about 10 magatamas. Are you supposed to delay 2C after CT or must you super jump the JB? T_T

  15. Maybe heat gain is affected by proraiton now? Well, Hakumens P1 went through the roof as well, but P2's went down. Tager?
  16. I'm pretty sure it is unaffected (then again, the burst guage some times flashes so I could be wrong). I counted once that a burst generated in about 50 seconds, so an OD should recover in about 40.   17. Well, I am not particulary good or have the quickest eye, but is the frame advantage of Agito so good? I guess it is very match-up dependent but, do I wanna risk eating a reversal on wake-up or go to neutral where I get free magatamas and more or less forces the opponent to attack me, where the range and defensive capabilities of Hakumen should come into play? I understand that options are always good, but I thought Hakumen was supposed to shine in neutral and not in pressure? Is there any super with 10F start-up AFTER superflash? And why would we counter that with 6D instead of 5D or 3C? Can it work as a (bad) anti-air? o_O
  18. How do they even go around doing that? Major system change or proration values are very adjusted.
  19. Why is it so advantegous for Hakumen to have knockdown everywhere? Is he a rushdown character now, with the improved mix-up? o.o

  21. Seems quite alright to fix OD Shippuu x n shenanigans in three weeks, rather than 6 months. Especially since Mori is on a war on loops.
  22. "If 6D was nerfed"? They added about 9F to start-up effectively killing the move. I'm not even sure if you can combo after it outside OD. 6T seems to be the starter if you want to Mugen. I think Overdrive has some recovery, but it is not much. Because it's less safe? What about chaining it to Agito?
  23. I've yet to seen how the blockable part comes into play against Carl, Relius, Mu, Nu and Rachel, but I can agree more with that change than making 6D not instant. Is there any supers that has 10+ start-up after superflash? What other uses can it have? ._. Have we seen any use of 5D Emma? Should tell us about the proration of the drives? I guess it will be 5D > Emma > jump J2A > jump J2C > Agito?
  24. So normal mugen lasts about 5 seconds. Kind of down from 18 seconds it is in EX, but I guess that is the price we will have to pay to make it useful. I read it in changes thread a while ago, but how do you even get a max charge 6C into a combo? o.o Well, OD is working as a comeback mechanic, I must say. Didn't they get rid of that from CT/CS1? XD I don't know, I don't know. In one of the loketests they had removed the repeat proration on Noel's 6C(2), so she could do about 6 of them in a row in the corner for some rather good damage. But I guess if more stuff like this might be patched in the next three weeks. Can you rapid Zanshin? : O Well, rapid sure is more avaible with the faster magatama gain.
