  1. You could do it in CSE as well, but I've definitely seen it in CP too.
  2. Hiyoku? Just followup with Ice Car D. That already looks hella stylish.
  3. Yo man, I'll take what they gave us in terms of anti-air. Shit is gonna be godlike.
  4. Stunedge said he noticed more head invuln on 2C, but couldn't notice any hitbox change. Time will tell... can't wait until we have some solid frame data and hitboxes. Also said 623B has head invuln too.
  5. It looks a little better now, actually. Better head invuln or faster or something.
  6. 2C looks like the real anti-air I always wanted.
  7. Lmao, ggs man. Yeah, you can't do those crossovers with Yosuke against Mitsuru. You'll get DP'd every time. Also Labrys is... a sad matchup. Chain > blah will get DP'd. And DP will also answer Labrys's j.B crossover. I used DP more in my matches with you today than I ever have in my life. XD But it was what I was supposed to do.
  8. You can get cost-effective powered splitters from Monoprice. Just make sure to split before the recording device, as Bibiquadium says. Also, there are now alternatives to the HDFury2, although the quality may suffer a tinge. Oh also, you said you have 6Mbps upstream? If you're going to stream netplay, I'd try sticking around 2500 kbps bitrate (5000 buffer), see how that works, if you notice any lag, decrease it a bit. Computer background processes, PSN, and various other things can dick you over if you don't have enough leeway in your upload bandwidth. It's a bit of a science experiment. If you don't have any issues, increase it until you do, then decrease it again. XD
  9. You can stream on anything 1.5 Mbps or higher, but generally about 2Mbps is best. Twitch is probably the only real viable option right now, so I'd stick with them. I use quality of 10 with a bitrate of 3000kbps, 6000kbps buffer. In general you want to double your bitrate for the buffer. I also have a godlike connection, so I can get away with such good quality. :P
  10. Lmao. GGs OmniSScythe, RockVolnutt, Nerdchill, Zerashi, Nobodyexe, TheGreatReptar, and anyone else I forgot.
  11. Open room. Name is Jyosua.net.
  12. Good shit everyone. This tournament was pretty hype. Shoutouts to Korean BBQ and Vineeth placing top 4 in Marvel. :V
  13. I would be up for a BB side tourney.
  14. Talk to TheGreatReptar for Georgia. They still have a small scene there.
  15. Lol, I never said none of us are lazy. Trains for practical travel nearly don't exist in a lot of places. Travel can cost upwards of 500+ USD for a 3 day tournament. I'm fortunate enough to have moved to california where we have weeklies (for P4A) biweeklies (for everything else) and I can feasibly make it to 4 majors. But if you live in a place not on the coast, good fucking luck. The truth of the matter is we're all screwed for enjoying anime games but not living in Japan.
  16. Driving to a tournament in-state here can take 3-6 hours depending on the state and locations. Not every state has a scene alive enough to even have weeklies. I used to live in one of those states. The US is massive, so even though we have more events than Europe it costs more money to travel, and scenes are likely to be more dead because everyone is so spread out. Don't just assume that the entire US has it great and people are just lazy.
  17. I'd be willing to split a room. I was debating leaving Monday, but it depends on when I book my flight. I'm planning on booking early february.
  18. That's not true. I play and I'm west coast. You've played against me recently! I also know a couple others that do, but West Coast also tends to have more people who refuse to netplay at all.
  19. Streaming an open room. Room name is Jyosua.net. Who says nobody plays online anymore?
  20. Well if you need to piggyback off my 4G, let me know.
  21. James, I could let you piggy back off mine for a bit if you wanted to stream. But if you don't feel like it, that's okay too.
  22. I'm gonna have to try out that OS some time. Thanks man. As far as the Mu matchup goes, I think it'll be far more even in BBCP. Jin will be able to (finally) convert max range pokes into real damage. Plus that one projectile of Mu's will take longer before it curves upward, making it a little easier to get in on her. The poke thing is most important though... That should have happened a while ago. Plus overall his damage is a LOT better, so that will probably help too, but that's not as necessary.
  23. Yo GGs Neo Zeromus. I think I woulda done better when you were playing as Tsubaki had netplay not dropped so many inputs. There were a couple of times I intentionally airdashed in to make you try to anti-air me, and then did the input for ice sword, but it didn't come out. I also noticed that guard break works /really/ well. I should have been using my meter for this a long time ago... man. Still mostly free to Mu. I hate fighting that damn character. The was one point where I had the life lead, but you got a chance to pressure me. I tried to counterassault, netplay ate the input, and I got hit for 5.4k, lost the life lead, and was thrown into the corner. D:
  24. I imagine 3C > 236[D] should have some decent oki potential, reminiscent of Ky. Then again, it may not. We'll have to see! It might not be worth the meter if it does work, which is the only reason I think that the Japanese haven't been using it if it does.
