Yeah, I was thinking either it's a body location thing, or a hitbox/frame related thing. I'm leaning towards the former because I was only able to get it to happen when hitting the legs or head.

I actually can't seem to connect that 2B either, even on counterhit. Yeah, I'm aware, but you get more corner carry if you opt not to do the D followup and when completely midscreen, they will land in the corner. But if you're closer to the corner than they are, then yeah... you'd need to do your original combo.

The meterless midscreen combo works better if you do this instead: Midscreen FC combo: FC [5B] > 2C > [6B] > [2B] > 2D > [6B] > 2AB > B Coup > 2A > 2B > C Bufula > [6B] > 2AB > B Coup. 4867 damage, 68 meter gain (drain included) It also lands them in the corner for D Bufula oki.

My combos? Not true. You're not doing the 2A preceding the 2B, most likely. The 2A lifts them off the ground, and the 2B knocks them high enough for a C Bufula. If you're talking about the combos in the main part of the thread, disregard.

As far as I can tell, the rule of thumb is to use D Bufula after B Coup ender. I'm in an airport right now, so I can't check, but I assume this is done by charging coup with 1, releasing with 3 and then going to 9 and pressing D.

Thank God. XD Also you should add crouch confirm to a few of the combos in there. Oh, also the j.B counterhit combo I posted that made its way into your thread can be performed midscreen if you replace the 4Bs with 6Bs.

Those numbers make some bit of sense, as 2B and various autocombo moves were the only ones I found to be completely unsafe on block.

If you don't have the meter to confirm into 2AB>OMC>2B>2D and you're blatantly midscreen, so B Coup won't get you to the corner, you can cancel 2AB into D Bufula to reset pressure or reset the combo if they're mashy faggots. Who found this out?

All the coups are safe, but not advantageous. If the opponent isn't fast enough, you can grab them for a reset, so it might be like -1 or 0 on block... I generally don't risk it though. As far as using SB Coup... I can't think of any uses either. Let me know if you find one.

Oh, sorry. You said punishing DP, so I assumed they'd still be in the air, closer to the ground. I was posting that from my phone at work, so I didn't think about that more first. XD First off, you'd get more damage if you used 4/5/6B > 2AB > A Coup after the bufula. I've been postings some relatively easy confirms in the combo thread. They're not hard, you just have to practice to learn the timing. Mitsuru's combos don't translate to text very well. To charge a move like 5B you simply hold the B button.

Yeah, 5B fatal counter is probably your best starter. If you're mid screen and have 50 SP, you can push then all the way into the corner with 5B>2AB>OMC>2B>2D>6B>2AB>B coup>2A>2B>C Bufula>6B>2AB> Coup. With no meter, you'd have to do something like 5B>2AB>C Bufula>6B>2AB>B Coup.

Pretty much everything but 2B is safe on block in regards to non persona moves, but you can't cancel into anything after coup unless you do a scrubby super cancel. In addition, pretty much all roads lead to coup. You CAN use D Bufula on someone being super respectful, but unless you've punished all their DPs, I don't see the opportunity for that happening.

I could swear I saw reports by people saying it was longer, but yeah, I think it's a lot shorter.

That's what other people have been reporting... but I actually agree with you. It looks a lot faster to me. They would trade and tech only like 10 frames later.

I was wondering the same thing. I imagine it probably means that you will get hit by lows when you're blocking high and overheads when you're blocking low. Would love for someone to verify this though.
