  1. Clearly P4U is more important than work.
  2. Can someone else just fucking go try it? Go use j.B in training mode about 30 times in a row, and you'll probably see it. Awakening mode IS NOT ON. Also the damage I'm seeing is 800. That's not within the base damage, which is why I want to know why I'm seeing this value.
  3. The information in Moy's post differs from xlolxlolx's post in regards to 214D. Does it wallstick or wallbound? Those are two different things.

  5. How would it be awakening related when I'm seeing this at full health in training mode. Also the 520 value was related to charging the move. The odd value I'm seeing is 800... twice the normal damage from not charging the move. And I'm seeing it when I'm not charging it at all.

  7. No, no counterhit. Just simple standing opponent. If I was at home, I'd record this and show you, but I'm currently in Fort Walton Beach on business... Edit: More testing shows it's not related to the other character's body. It seems completely random. I hate to ask this... but are there critical hits in this game?
  8. I didn't know j.B had charge property. LK just told me that. Edit: After further testing... I'm not sure that it's the charge property causing it. I can get 520 out of the charge... but not the 800 that I'm seeing. Still not sure what's causing it. Edit 2: I've verified that I get the 800 when not charging the move at all... interesting.
  9. Wow, that's really weird, but yeah that has to be it. Edit: Actually... I'm not sure that's it. 520 is the max I get from charging it. I get 800 only if I hit Yu in a certain spot. Edit2: It appears to be actually unrelated to where I hit Yu... but it's completely random. I'm only tapping the button, so it's not the charge. The only thing I can think of is maybe there's a glitch with the hitboxes and it calculates the overlapping ones hitting as twice the damage?
  10. So, has anyone else noticed that certain moves do more damage depending on where you hit the opponent? For instance, Mitsuru's j.B does 400 damage unless you hit close to their stomache/thighs, in which case it can do up to 800.

  12. j.A starter BnBs: j.A> 66 5A > 2B > 6B > 5C(x6) > A Coup 1857/14 [Crouch] j.A> 66 5A > 2B > 6B > 2AB > B Coup [2404/18] Also, for 5A instead of what's posted: 5AAA> 6B> 5C(x6)> A Coup [1737/None/14] I get slightly better damage out of: 5AAAA> 6B> 5C(x4)> A Coup [1745/14] Also: 2A > 2B > 6B > 5C(x6) > A Coup [1592/13] but you have to be close range. I also was trying this combo: j.B > 66 5AA > 6B > 5C(x6) > A Coup and for some reason the damage varies between 1761 and 2161... anyone have any idea why? I'm at a loss for what could be changing it. The number of hits are the same either way. Edit: I figured it out. Wow, so j.B does more damage if you a certain part on their body (800 vs. 400 if you wait until you'd hit their legs), but it's harder to combo after if you're higher up. I guess it's sort of a bonus for good execution. Naw, I verified if you whiff, you can't cancel it. Also Kara cancelling is not the same as cancellable on whiff. Kara cancelling is cancelling in the first 4ish frames of the move.

  14. As far as charging during sweeps and the sweep input, yes on both. I haven't tried using [1]3 for coup. I'll test that later today. As far as whiff canceling, I want to say no on both, but I can't remember. I'll verify later. Coup A is safe, but not advantageous. You can often get a grab reset, but trying to poke with A after it is asking for a counterhit. I haven't yet gone through and tested frame advantages, but I'll get around to that soon.

  23. Pretty much this. You've got plenty of time to practice P4U and get good at it. Then when BB3 comes you can sideline P4U, not practicing as much but still playing. Bam, you can now play 2 games!
  24. Glad to know you're a man of common sense! :D I dunno man, I'm gonna play both. I'll probably focus on P4U with BBCSEX as my side game until BB3 console is announced. Fucking this. Man, I missed the CT>CS change. I'm super hype for a /real/ new game.
  25. Maybe if there was a BlazBlue General, this "shitpost" wouldn't have ended up here. But it's a little late after 40 pages of hype to be like "lolno". That type of shit just prematurely kills the hype and doesn't help the scene at all. People will probably be less inclined to post in this thread now for fear of getting infractions.
