  1. There are a couple of screenshots where the gauge is green and not completely filled (like the one where she's activating overdrive, using aerial wrench, and using aerial drill hammer), there are also pics where the gauge appears to be filled up and still green. Based on this and the pictures of her activating the push/pull being blue and yellow, green is most likely the neutral state (which lets the gauge recharge) where neither push nor pull is being used. Green probably has nothing to do with the meter being fully charged. This is assuming there is no bonus for having full meter and the screenshots didn't intentionaly leave the meter drained. The beam looks like the blue Tager laser super, but vertical instead. This could be her second DD (the pic is just taken after the superflash) with Tager in the sky. Although that wouldn't explain why she still has full heat. The heat regen effect in CP's training mode (if it differs from CS) could have restored her heat while the DD was near the end of it's active frames though. If it is an aerial Tager laser,t though, it could do more damage in exchange for a more limited hitbox. On another note: Does firing the Tager Laser use 100 heat? In every screenshot of the tager laser being fired Kokonoe is at zero heat while Hazama is at 100 (indicating that the training mode options are likely set to 100 heat / there are also several picks where Kokonoe has full heat when she hasn't touched Hazama yet). However in the screenshot of the beginning of this distortion (the one where tager is coming out of the ground) Kokonoe has only consumed 50 heat, meaning that this DD could have an option to use an extra 50 meter at the end to fire the laser, like MTW->Terra Break. I'm still relatively new to this site and hey I started off in the Netplay threads, where the posting guidelines are really lax. I just didn't know how seriously you guys took the main threads when I transitioned to posting here.
  2. GGs SP1NZAKU, Pumpkin Seed, AlteredAbyss, and Shiteru(sp).
  3. Hmmm...Recent developments might give this console screenshot a whole new meaning...
  4. Why is that? Did people have less health / do more damage in CT?
  5. I don't have the means to travel yet, and the BB scene in TN has long been dead (that will only change temporarily when CP comes out). My only feed for opponents in this game is on the net. Although...being filthy rich would be awesome. Flying to people's houses in different states/countries just to play them in BB and no lag mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
  6. Whether or not I'm wrong, just because you disagree with what I said doesn't mean you guys have to be condescending jerks about it. There is no good reason to cause tensions between the very few people that use Makoto on Dustloop. Even though I am very angry at being mocked over the last few pages, I hold no ill will toward any of you. I just won't post anything about how I play anymore. Also, none of you have ever played me at this game. You don't know what my playstyle is like, how content I am to block someone, how many risks I take, or even how good I am. Anyone with an Xbox is free to find out though, and I'll probably be PMing a few of you with challenge requests just to see how I stack up. One last thing though: If you yomi 3C under Hazama's 5D chain, you can do 3[C] -> DP to beat his 5D(whiff) -> D followup -> j.A/j.B.
  7. I didn't say you should only focus on Carl...I said don't forget about him because he can be in your face in a second via air dash. What do you mean my advice requires Carl to do nothing??? Carl has RECOVERY whenever he does a command input with Ada (he does a little point and stops for a second). So anything like the drill punch, Con Brio, or the projectile will leave him vulnerable to an Eclipse Turn -> 2A. If you time it well, he CAN'T do anything and Ada's attack will miss. You have a tool that most other characters don't, something that lets you go past Ada. You can compromise all of the tools that he normally uses to contol neutral and force him to use a different strategy if you are aggressive with Eclipse Turn. OR you can let Carl control neutral completely and pray that he makes a mistake (or Nirvana dies), because obviously any advice I give is stupid, has never worked, and should be ignored on the spot............
  8. For Carl you can use Eclipse turn to go past Nirvana. Her attacks are slow, so most of the time you can avoid them entirely and be right in Carl's face. Most Carls will piss their shorts and either try to jump away or start blocking. Don't rely on this though: sometimes he recovers from commanding Nirvana before you recover from eclipse turn, and like all things this can be baited. Another thing you have to realize in this matchup is that Carl cannot approach you from the ground. Use your anti-air in this matchup because they always try to air-dash in with j.C and start pressure. What used to trick me most about this matchup is that my mind would always be preoccupied with what Nirvana was doing, so I wouldn't pay attention to Carl (or his highly telegraphed air-dashes).
  9. Prolly when XRD comes out
  10. Makoto style baby!!!
  11. Whoever that was really messed up the whole forum. No one can even post anymore :V
  12. Ill probably jump around to a few different ones: 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, and 16 are the ones that appeal to me. I'll most likely be maining #9 though, because it's so feminine. Special mentions to 13 for being an anime reference to my current avatar (even if it's supposed to be a Zessica palette) and 14 for reminding me of all the genderbent Ragna art I've viewed (and combining it with the hotness that is Makoto).
  13. This might sound stupid, but...what exactly is this group and how does it work? Do you just point a laptop at your face while you play someone? or like...does everyone fight matches and then discuss it later. I just...ya know....don't even know what a BB skype group is. Not gonna lie, I've never even used skype.

  15. I'm trying to get on PSN, you background thief. I just have to fix my living room setup so there's not a 5 frame delay on everything I do.
  16. Ummm...Sorry no one has given an answer yet. I don't really mess with the gallery that much except to get colors, but I did find this. http://www.trueachievements.com/a160261/gallery-guru-achievement.htm It mentions little quirks that could be preventing you from having those two Special CGs. Like not doing all of the gag endings or importing your save data from Continuum Shift. I hope this helps, cuz again I don't really know much about the gallery.
  17. Timestamp didn't work for me, but it says 9m51s in the link.
  18. But it also has 5 frames of extra recovery in exchange for the distance it puts between you and your opponent. Being in the corner negates its advantage and just lets your opponent recover before you do.
  19. OK so I'm trying to make BB playable on my PS3, but its been a long road. I set up a static IP adress and put my ps3 in a DMZ like the original post said. I have a NAT type 2 after doing that (even though I already had NAT type 2), but literally every room is at 0 bars when I try to play people. I can't join most player rooms or play ranked matches due to connection restriction, and so far every room I've entered with no connection requirement has kicked me for having zero bars without even letting me play to test it out. Here is what my speed and stuff looks like on my laptop with a wired connection and no one else on the network. When I plug that same ethernet cord into the PS3 and run its connection test, however, I get 17Mbps down and 4Mbps down. Is this normal? Anyways I'm open to suggestions on how to fix this because I really want to play with some of the people on PS3.
  20. Besides Corona RC dash under looks so freaking cool. You can rapid really quickly so that you never even leave the ground...it's like they just flew up into the air on their own.
  21. I'll let Kenrou defend himself, but I wouldn't really care about the lesser invuln and horizonal range if Corona's hitbox wasn't low profiled so easily. Most people can just 2B under the DP so no one has to respect her wakeup.
  22. Training stage never really bothers me that much. You can tell where you are on the stage based on how the characters have moved over the course of the battle. And any time you get to the corner you have another reference point to tell where you are. You just have to get a feel for it so you can know if you are, say, slightly away from the corner, or P2 starting position, etc. You guys can keep track of health, spacing, meter, time, opponent's favored neutral tactics, yomi levels, character specific gauges, combo routes/starter proration, hitconfirms, opponent's burst tactics, etc, but you can't remember your location on a uniform horizonal plane? Edit: Also the training stage is cool. It looks so sleek and orderly.
  23. I would buy this if there weren't universal defensive mechanics to help Tao out if she does get pinned down. You have a character that dominates neutral and has insane pressure; only drawback is limited defense. Even if Tao's opponent does guess right once and get a lucky hit, she has two bursts, a counter assault, and a reversal super to get them off of her and force neutral again. Meanwhile those same defensive measures are less effective for her opponents because bursting and CAing merely return Tao to neutral where she has the advantage.
  24. I pikt the rite drive durr hurr. Time fer 5K. I'm naht dum
  25. Isn't 5C worse on block than 5CC though? It's -5 vs -3. Or do you mean that people are looking to IB/do stuff after 5CC so by omitting it you catch them off guard while still frame trapping?
