She moves really slowly and has no dashes for some reason. It's been pretty widely reported but ASW hasn't done anything about it. Weirdly enough if you do her install super it fixes it temporarily.

I don't think those are the moves that let him float the sword freely, so I don't think that's really a balance change. Not really sure, though. Can't recreate it on PS2, but I could just be timing it wrong. Never heard of it before, though. It's not on the list, so I guess not.

Yamanaka tweeted that 1.01 was entering loketesting soon finished loketesting and went live yesterday, November 6th. Here's the news post, and here's the loketest info, with bug fixes and a mere hint of balance tweaks.

Centipedes are better, faster Raou summons, blah blah. Check his board if you want details. Wh-... what? Active frames are the frames during which an attack can hit you. You need to input slashback (4SH) within two frames of the first frame that would hit you. In the case of ABA's 2H, what you're doing is blocking the first part, then anticipating when the second part will hit you, and inputting slashback just before that happens. After a while you'll be able to recognize the gap between the two hits and the timing will come naturally to you. -

Companies opening up the option of connecting to servers they don't control and potentially allowing users to freely download games they have not purchased the rights to probably is a serious offense, yes. Glad we're on the same page. The developers have put a stranglehold on digital distribution for a reason. Beyond any of that, this has fuck-all to do with Guilty Gear. @Yamanaka_ARC is a good place to start.

PSN maintenance and various bureaucratic issues prevented it, it seems. It's pretty clear they've never done a release like this, I'd cut 'em a little slack.

Kliff's frame data, some of the notes might not be accurate. I'm hoping a better translator will take a look.

He explicitly said the patch was for the arcade version. It's bug fixes and minor balance tweaks we're not yet fully aware of. It's going into loketesting soon. No comments have been made about the netplay by any official source.

Welp, gotta test this. Recorded PS2 gameplay at 60fps, played it back frame by frame. The frame the button appears in the input bar is also the first frame of the attack's animation, so I'm calling that Frame 1. On Frame 15, 2S hits. The AC frame data lists it as 14-frame startup. Now to compare a move that didn't change. 5K's animation starts the same frame the button comes up in input, so still calling that Frame 1. On Frame 8, 5K hits. So I'm going to go with "startup is never active" unless RoBo has better proof. Disregard this as I am blatantly wrong.

Didn't think of that for 5P, nice. 13f startup = active on 14th. Yes, initial prorate is just when it's the first hit - 6H doesn't have forced proration, thank goodness. I haven't seen 2D > Giganter done, but 2D RC Giganter works in AC, so I wanna say it would. The timing's tricky, but as an actual cancel that wouldn't be an issue. Can't get Bullet to not OTG though, but you can combo into anything else.

She took her coat off. That's literally the only thing different about her. Her eyes have been red since she switched sides and the hairstyle's identical, including the beads on her whattayacallems. Sidelocks? I don't know, I don't have hair. Point is it's pretty blatantly her.

It does if you do a search for a match, but only in that list. You don't see connection quality on the lobby screen.

Well, the games/manuals/forums/wiki/every resource ever calls it a Barrier Burst, not sure how you couldn't know what we were referring to. The BB icons. You get one to start and another if you lose a round. You need one to do an Astral. We're clear, right? -
