  1. Question. How does air block work in this game. I know air to air, you can air block. But you cannot air block ground attacks right? So how does Air shielding block works?

  4. what was that special mode where all the attacks became "Mortal counters". Is that like IK mode or something?
  5. blockstring, like do some pressure and then continue with 6B is what I usually do. And here's a difficult blockstring that require 50% meter. 5B, 5C(1), RC at first hit in midair, jB, land, 2B, and then either pressure or combo. Depending on the timing (i.e. how fast you RC and then throw out jB) jB will either come out as 1 hit or 2 hit (2hit if done really fast) This usually open-up plays as ur doing 1 overhead into low or 2 overhead into low. My question, is there a point of Terumi's CT? It's real slow AND totally unsafe on block. And I don't think there's even a use in combos either. (Kinda like his counter assault totally whiffs on crouchers, and is only good if you block an airborn foe's attack.)
  6. This is my B&B Rapid Cancel corner carry combo midscreen. (don't know if it's posted or not) 5B > 5C > 3C > 6C(3), RC, 2C, 5C, 3C, 6D then if at corner already, finish with land, 5C, 3C, 236D, Optional Super 3725dmg with 50% meter without super ender 4386 with 100% meter super ender if still not at corner land, 6C(3) or j623B at the air. (I prefer land 6C for farther corner carry plus hard knockdown.) 3641dmg without super ender, 4202 dmg with super ender (again, not worth 100% meter for just 4K damage IMO)
  7. Sorry, I'm a noob at this game. And I got my ass kicked by Manaka mainly because I had no clue what she was doing. And http://wiki.mizuumi.net/ doesn't have ANYTHING listed under Manaka. So, can someone help me out with the match-up somewhat? I'm assuming her bookshelf move where she hides behind it is a counter-move? (So then, when's the recovery phase to punish it?) Also, the player kept doing c.A,c.B,c.A,c.B, etc and it seems like a legit pressure? (I couldn't get out of it.) And what the heck is the Manaka's tip-toeing move that she seems like she'll fall over, and then when I get close, she kicks me for a launcher? Like I said, I would like to see an actual movelist description so I can understand this char. (Or someone give me a link to a Manaka FAQ I can look up?)

  9. Kokonoe is definitely at least A tier. (i.e. at least high med) And IMO, she have a potential top S tier, depending of what people discover in her gameplay.
  10. I hate saying this, but she probably needs a nerf. I mean, Kagura does insane damage but at LEAST he's slow and have some bad match-ups. THIS char is pretty mobile, got an annoying drive to the foe, (It's like a mix of Tager's auto electric and Rachel wind) AND can dish insane damage with no meter and good mix-up, set-ups. She's reminding me of first day Makoto and Valk. As much as I love this char... I hope they balance her a bit fair.

  12. How do you deal with Izayoi? I'm assuming I just don't know the match-up. Because I hear she's a very unsafe char but I'm not punishing her unsafe moves after I block them. (Mainly her DP options and such) My main is Jin but a general tip to beat Izayoi can help. Zoning is definitely not the answer (Unless I'm playing Hazama or something) as she can teleport around the stage.
  13. WTF did they do to bang's TK j236D?! when I do it, I do a super jump with it?! I'm suppose to land immediately for a free rushdown and close in >_>; And is there an easy way to combo daifunka? in Extend, I just did 5B,2B,6C,j623B, land, Daifunka near corner. That doesn't work anymore.
  14. Throw, 4[]6B, 6C, 6D~B, 2D~A~, 5D~C~, 2[]8C (4030 DM, 28% HG) WTF, You serious that this char can do a 4K combo off of a THROW with no meter or corner?! test it out at the lab... WOAH...
  15. dang, I'm learning this char, and even his combos feels like Slayer from GG, all don't chain does it? (especially his 5B, 2C, it feels like a frame link, rather then a chain) Any suggestion on the timing? I feel his 5B, to 2C feels easier on crouching chars.

  18. Man, so that item section for gallery, it's for each char you beat in Unlimited mars mode huh? Bah, never getting THAT one completed. >_>; Anyway, I unlocked the first 10 for Abyss mode gallery, how do you unlock the next 10? Those last 10 pics in abyss mode and Unlimited char pics are the only ones I haven't gotten.
  19. K, thanks. Playing Abyss Mode, unlocking the illustration part, but the first section in the item section is still locked. Is that the unlimited Mars one?
  20. Oh yeah, Rainbow Aura is also 5000 dollars. And Thanks, finally I can equip something. Mr Stoic 2 somehow disables you to use distortions. (While your foe can.) It MUST have somekind of benefit if you get this kind of negative penalty. I also have counter puncher. It seems to create random Fatal Counters on random hits. (On regular hit, not CH, and not even moves that can even create a fatal counter) Oh yeah, guys. When you go to the infinite dungeon, watch out for chars that have "mist finer" in their special stat item. When I saw that on an unlimited Izayoi, I was like, "That better not be Gold Johnny." And then BAM! all of my life gone off of 1 special attack. I wonder if I can buy this, I'll DEFINATELY equip this if I have the option.

  22. Auto Heal is rare 1 and cost 2000 to buy. I'm assuming it's a slow regen item.
  23. How do you unlock everything in the gallery? There are some section where you can't buy it with cash. (i.e. first section under item or 3rd section under illustrations) Also, how do you unlock unlimited chars?
  24. BTW, anyone know of a good corner combo that starts with 2A? 5B IS ideal for corner combo, but you won't always get that. with 2A starter, the wall bounce to 5BC, and then 6C will whiff. So far, I discovered these two. Corner 2A, 5B(2), 5C, 3C, 214B, 5B, 5C, 2C, 6C, 623C or Corner 2A, 5B(2), 5C, 3C, 214B, 5B, 5C, 22C, 5B, 5C, 22C However, I want to know if there are better damage combo then that.
  25. Are Force Breaks (i.e. EX moves) removed in this version?
