  1. See, its funny that you say that considering their reason behind the patch xD xD. Restore character individuality my ass. Amyway, really hopin the next loketest isnt as retardedly insane as this one.
  2. I find non-tk wind orbs better than tk. Her options for hitting you on the ground far outweigh her options of hitting you out of the air. All of jer kuuga hit straight forward or at a diagonal-down path, so standard jumping or BC gets you in a better position to start any kind of offense imo.
  3. Out of curiosity, anyone had any success with mindgames involving the fact that j.B finishes its startup animation before the active frames come in? Seems like it could be good for people who can react to assault mixup and end up getting grabbed after your move wiffed cuz of the fast animation.
  4. Dunno if someone already found this out, really good corner carry off 236x>6A>delay 214C. You can pick up the combo with almost any j.C move and get immediate corner oki up to 3k damage.
  5. Relius' gameplan revolves around locking down someone in his pressure though. When you negate what a character's strength is, what is left? Just because your options are more expensive, you still have them. Hell, doubling the ignis cost of all of our moves would give us more options than removal of jump cancel 3C. Arguement about Nu, was she suppose to be a close up-in your face mixup character? Not exactly, yet even then, I havnt heard of stuff like "physical attacks break her swords" or somethin like that either. If her zoning game was broken, I'd agree. Another thing though, the lack of any regular Relius updates on this loketest isn't helping either of our arguments.

  7. Anyway, I'm gonna get back on topic. Ypu realize how much 3C jump cancel getting removed cripples Relius, right? He had pretty easily reactable mixup before (the fuzzy not being included atm). With 3C gone, they effectively eliminated his mixup. We don't have any confirmation that his 2C is jump cancellable on block, so he has no useable jump cncellable moves in pressure now. This forces his mixup to revolve more arpund his 26f 6A, which, evem including ignis, has issues of its own (besides being vwry easy to notice).
  8. So, CS1-2-EX completely changed each time and removed multiple options, right? I'm pretty sure that they all felt loosely similar without blanket nerfing thw entire cast. Also, saying there's less BS when Rachel so far hasn't shown to be changed nearly at all is kinda biased lol. I'm not the only one who doesn't really lime where things are heades either though, so opinipns are in tbe end, opinions.
  9. Maybe if it weren't just a title update, I'd be more inclined to agree. As a revision of a game that's been out for nearly a year now, I don't like it.
  10. But changing the game entirely I dislike more than just nerfing my character. If I'm not playin what BB has been up till now, then its not BB anymore.
  11. No 3C in the game has a normal gatling, I can't imagine that Relius would be the special one that did. Plus, like you just said, his combo routes wouls become rediculously easy.
  12. Have 50 heat, ignis out, and a healthy desire for full screen carry all for a fairly simple confirm (compared to other full carry combos)? 5B>3C>236C>RC>IAD j.B>665B>2C>6C>214C>IAD>IAD j.B>6B>sj.B>j.C>j.236C>j.214B [3822/18/2500]
  13. Also, for whatever reason you just can't do 5B>2C, you can just do 66C. 66C moves you fast enough to hit them almost as soon as you RC. Of course, this isn't tje best way since you lose a nice amount of corner carry, but its easy. Even on ragna, did it without really any delays. Still loses you like 400 damage though.
  14. Don't forget the basic fact that 3C hit low. Then there's the fact that 3C has a faster startup. If this sticks, 3C is gonna be a horrible mixup option, since it'd require you cancel into a special or use ignis.
  15. What do all these changes have to do with pist CT characters then? I only feel like this is a complaint for people that played CT cuz CT was the first time they played that character. Since I started playing, Relius has only been in 2 games, and he hasn't beeen changed much through either. I can only imagine what the CP characters "spirit" is if it wasnt brought out the first timesomeone played them.
  16. What does character individuality mean, and how has it been lost? None of the characters in this game play alike at all. Maybe their over-all gameplan is the same for certain characters, but that's what the games about. Get in the corner, proceed to kill. Did I miss something? Anyway, its not so much the changes that I'm not feeling confident about, but whats with these vague, opinionated reasons they're giving for changing characters. "Why" is a simle question, saying "cux we felt like it" would make mefeel better than "to restore character individuality"
  17. As I said before, if you have enough OD for OD DDs, it raises the damage by 200 per combo, but the cOD requires like... <10% hp

Much simpler than that lol, 214C is only used for corner carry or the 8k damage combo. 5B>3C>cOD>2C>214A>66214B>665C(1)>236C>214A>5C(1)>j.C>j.236C>j.214B>j.B>2C>6C>4D>3C>41236D is 5.8k, the 665C(1) is dash to the corner 5B>3C>6D>jcOD(6D hits)>2C>214A>66214B>>665C(1)>j.C>j.236C>j.214B>j.B>2C>6C>4D>632146D is 5.4k. The reason for no 3C>41236D is because the conditions I set for this combo just make it annoying to time since 4D hits while in OD
  20. It is convenient, I'll give it that much. Also not too difficult to confirm, especially off a 6A. Sadly 6A forces you to use up a small bit of combo timer time anyway so its gotta get cut short. From midscreen, here's the damage numbers I got from 50% hp and metet midsceen. cOD gave 5.8k even without OD DD ender. jcOD hit 5.4k, also without OD DD ender at this level. So if you got the hp levels for it, you'd get 6k amd 5.6k respectively. Honestly it would take forever for me to get use to j.c 2C. Its got a better hitbox, but its also got a slower startup and hits mid. Also its the same level as 3C. Now, it would be nice if they gave us the 2C jump cancel in addition to 3C, but rhen we would need to give up something. Maybe I'd be willing to make 5B... -gulp- 10f startup. MAYBE. But 5B is our other love. Either that, or put 2C in line with the other AAs as far as invul and actives go.
  21. Indeed. I worked with some of the jcOD a while back ago, the sad thing is you get less damage than you would for a normal cOD Dx. So, it dependa on your needs I guess. If you want unburstable damage, jcOD is best, if you want raw damage, cOD is best. I'm tryin not to worry too much about the loke since it'll only ne a matter of time till a completely new build comes out slammin us with bad changes we didn't even know were bad. They seem to pride themselves on doing the most nonsensical methods of changinf characters. Next they might make 214x a type of stance move for all I know.
  22. An addition to some.of your old tech, 6B>5C(1)>2C connects on both Carl and Amane if you delay the 5C, so now there's no real character specifics.
  23. Maybe, but there's somethings you just don't touch. You don't come up to a Relius player and take away their 3C jump cancel, dammit! I'm angry. Not really, but I couls care less foe the changes thus far. If I got toplay this build, I'd do it for like 10 minutes and be like "I'm done, can I at least play Ex?"
  24. I'm not worried about these changes sticking, I'm worried if this is the direcrion they're looking to take this game to. I've seen small combos, but this isn't a reboot of the game, nor is it a brand new title. Its chronophantasma... 2.0. It should, at the very least, look very similar to CP 1, but with these changes, all the characters seem like they don't care about defining playstyles. Yes, it is early, but these are changes they were wanting to see how they would play out which means they had half the mind to put em in.
  25. But then why wouldn't I just play UNiB? If they're tryin to change the direction of the game, they better stop, otherwise there is literally no reason for anyone to play this game because its BB.
