  1. Wouldn't know much about that, havnt eaten much bad Chinese food xD but I get your point. Why cant there be a stage that is just plain white with black lines to indicate your location on the screen. All games need to have a single level that is absolutely barren of anything that could cause the game to lag. If you have A connection. Not necessarily a good one, but one that doesn't slowt he game to 5 fps.
  2. This thread could preserve 20k tons of beef for 50+ years with its salt levels, but that's what makes it fun. Though most of it is online rage at lag.
  3. One thing I hope they change (my preferred word would be "fix" but whatever) is the Ignis meter. Either build the revive animation into the meter or increase the meter to account for the stupid revive animation. Its like 2 whole seconds for her to be usable AFTER the meter refills, which I find stupid and nonsensical. I don't care which option they pick, I'd prefer the first one cuz it'd be a buff, but whatever. Try to do OD j.214B twice when I see her meter fill to smack someone out of the air, and I get j.B twice cuz she's" still reviving".

  5. Ok then, my peeve. Me for taking soooo much damn time off BB that I fell for HF>grab like 4 times in a row. WHY AM I SO BAD RIGHT NOW?! Besides taking a nearly 2 month break
  6. The justification is thst this is is Ark and thid is BB, and this id their intended character, and they're not changing it for you.
  7. If arakune was shitting out 4k non-curse combos, we'd have an issue. Curse is his game plan, and without it, he gets like 1.8-2.2k damage, no real "oki", and terrible pressure without curse. If curse wasn't as batshit insane as it is and only gave him 4k damage, he'd be in the same boat as Kagura, but you know... WITHOUT a great DP. So yes, I think his damage is justified. I'd say the issue with him is re-curse combos. If you get cornered, you get fucked up cuz now you're just there forever with no chance to escape.
  8. Because that's his intended design. They nerfed him from Ex yet he still works exactly the same, so obviously, its how its suppose to be.
  9. I find hate mail a HUGE break from playing a game. Its really humorous to me most of the time, and I get excited every time I see that "New Message" notifivation pop up. It makes me laugh bevause there's no way to tell if they're serious or not. If they're just messin around, they can get hilariously creative, and if they're serious, they make the most rediculous complaints. Like one time, I did Relius' simple 5B>3C>6D>j.b blockstring, a guy keeps saying IN LOBBY CHAT "Spam much? Why you keep spamming? Spamming is for scrubs". Beat him every time till I switched to a random character out of pity, then left after it got repetitive. Ahhhjh, hate mail. It should have its own show.
  10. Is there a specific trick to getting 236x>6A to cross through? Of you do accidentally use 236x on block, cross through 6A followup sounds the safest you can do, but I dunno if its just naturally unreliable or if I missed something.
  11. Nerfs to weaker characters never makes sense. Isn't this what Ark prides themselves on at this point? I only played Tsubaki a few times in Ex, but would giving all her moves better hitboxes with less block push help her more than just changinf her specials around? I feel like she could also stand to have more than 1 move that's + on block standalone as she is a rushdown character with only a really slow +1 move.
  12. It is a one trick pony, but its one that doesn't get better or worse despite how much time passes. There are a lot of characters that don't have a cpnstant threat of multiple mixups though. Hazama has varying ways of opening someone up. Valk has a ton of ways, with command grabs, gapless fakeouts in wolf with 5C>2/3D>5C, command grabs, IOHs with 50 heat in human mode. I think Rachel's doesn't feel as dangerous because its always gonna be the same, just changing up the rhythm. You know its there, so its not a 5 way guess between what she'll do next.
  13. 214D being a low sounds doable but 22D being overhead would look bizarre. Either way, wouldn't that be just changing her specials once again? I thought the fundamental issue was her normals. Even if I would be a bit envious, if they gave her a 22f overhead and improved hitboxes before they tamper with her specials, I feel like a lot of good come come out in the end.
  14. While she would probably be usable, I'd rather not give a reason for less people to play a harder character. I'm lucky that Errol is around quite frequently to give me Rachel exp, but if it werent for that, there's no other Rachel I've played. This is, of course, opinion, but still, who likes characters to be "unplayed"?
  15. May I have a CP Relius and Ignis as Sora and Shiro (respectively) from No Game No Life? And I have no clue if anyone is doin UNIEL, but Carmine as Taboo Sho Minamimoto would be amazing . No hurry at all, I enjoy lookin at the colors currently being made anyways.
  16. Oh yeah... 2k is a bit more than a 6th of our hp isnt it? ... huh. I get what you're sayin though, but if you look at other reversal DDs, some got the same issue of invul ending on like first frame of the actives kicking in. Only meterless reversals that are about the same on block can be allowed to have invul past the first active frame (damn you ID).
  17. I certainly as hell will astral. If you got combo'd into astral, chances are you could've been combo'd into a DD RC or double DD ender for the kill anyways, so makin it flashy with an astral makes it both simpler and more awesome. Reversal astrals you can bait in a similar manner as regular dp's, cept maybe Relius' because if the autoguard on ignis' body. But anyway, I dunno how you can call a round finishing move cheap when it can only be used when you wouls normally finish a round.
  18. Wrong good or wrong bad? I mean, it trades just about as frequently as other reversal DDs I've seen. However ours still gives us the chance to sideswap/combo/get oki depending on the move. Kinda wish it had respectavle damage though so people would actually be afraid to trade with it. Even if it was just like 1800 dmg with about 550 min dmg
  19. First of all, fucking love your avi Rhap, Shiro ftw. Anyway, its not somethin I'm aware if its useful or not, but after fighting a Gordeau at anime-fest today, he used his IW at neutral. While it was goin tjrough the animation, I was nearly dead and yolo 236B'd under the part where he spins the scythe and got a free CH.
  20. Yeah, it was a typo. Anyway, Lich's guide has all his ways of catching forward and back techs.
  21. Well 3C>delay 214C in the corner kills all roll options. His best oki by far. Midscreen you have tk call out one or the other. Usually 6D can catch backroll from a j.214B ender midscreen, but you have to do a dash 5B for forward roll. Also, 22BD can catch all tech options midscreen (except for a few reversal DDs) but its timing changes with each hitbox and is kinda expensive, especially if they just block
  22. Neither, it only affected its block/hitstun. I think it basically removed the fuzzyguard we had in the corner. Also I think there may be a gap between j.B and j.C on IB now. No idea since I cant remember j.B's lvl
  23. Speaking of which, there any signs of patches to come or confirmedthat I havnt noticed? The game sorta went straight from arcade to console, which included some of the smaller issues with the game (wald infinite, music, etc...)
  24. Theres more than plat that do nothing for the story. There's also a lot of questionable color schemes and clothing in this game.
