Why would change be good for a gamestyle thats been set for 4 games now? Combo routes are one thing, changing the way the game is played justleaves me with little reason to keep playing.

To be fair, Carl's Ex combos were much more difficult execution-wise. The difference was they were available from ANY hit. SO. Yeah, Carl doesn't need free 623C combos back, he could get 3k and 50 meter into sandwhich setup with it, which is why they took it away, because Carl's suppose to rely on Ada. He's a puppet character. Moreso than he use to anyway.

I will agree that a lot of characters don't need buffs, but for the sale of keeping it interesting, giving different combo routes is fun. Not taking away staple combo routes, but some of the less used, non optimal combos could be taken out for other, better ones. However, I don't agree with making BB more defensive based. They've made it a good balance so far, and forcing the game to turtling for some characters just sounds boring. I thougjt BB was a neutral and oki based combo fighter, don't change what people like about the game, because kf that's what rhey wanted, they'd play a different game.

Hopefully this translates to "we're tryin to see how bad we can butcjer characters so we know what not to touch when the game is finished". Right now, I don't think many people are happy lol

While I use 2C during pressure all the time, using it for jump pressure sounds really awkward... how many other characters use their 2Cs for jump cancelling?

Hey, we have maybe possibly good news with Zein. But is it enougj to compensate for our losses? Hell no. They really wanted to butcher the Clovers in this loke though. Either that or I'm bein biased cuz of my platonic man-love for Relius.

Indeed. Having 6A jump cancellable would lead to a lot of fuzzy setups on certain characters, but that 26f startup would reall hurt. For now though, I really think we're all just getting trolled. Right now, all characters have been reduced to utter crap in the loke And yeah, I think it might if what my bro tells me is true xD

Yeah, I know. More upsetting that I hear enough people call Relius MU's cake while others say its their bane of existence. This makes me believe that Relius, is indeed, well balanced, yet with this... Ark went on vacation in an RV then released their sewage all over the characters with these changes. But yeah, adding in a command grab wouldn't fix it. However, what wouls be awesome is if 5C(1) was jump cancellable on block. This woyld fix blockstrings to an extent, even make them a bit better cuz 5C has more gatling options, plus it has more blockstun than 3C. It'd feel awkward to use though. Pss: so was it actually a BL or was there just a character that was obsessed with BL? I don't wanna be the only one who watched a semi-BL anime here @.@ and tomorrow I'm leavin later in the day to go to a river with the family Dx

Have they shown what zein is yet? Usually (as far as BB goes amd from my experience) there's usually about 3 lokes before final release, so hopefully they're ONLY using these as a way to experiment with the new moves they're wanting to add. There's a lot of nonsensical changes to more than our character (though I'm biased and feel like we got the worst one), so maybe we're a bit over the top. Now, IF they gave us a command grab, we would effectively be a grappler. Ignis kills escape options even without 3C. You could do some really gimmicky stuff like lauger>2D>command grab or 2D>5A>4D>command grab. 4D would wreck everyone's day against a command grab that was jump happy. Anyway, I still find it doubtful. Though, they did the unspeakable to Carl and took away his safejump unblockable, so maybe we're in for some weird shit. Ps: play some BL with me Myoro to get over this depression.

If either of those last two changes go through, I'm just done. Unless they give us a command grab, Relius will habe virtually no mixup, and rvery mixup attempt will be dp'd or AA'd. I don't think I'm being dramatic either. Now, if they give him a command grab, that's a different story, as relius has all the ways to punish someone trying to jump out, which leads me to believe that's doubtful. So we're gonna do 5B>2B>6A>6D as our blockstring? Who hasn't said 3C is the reason why Relius' pressure is scary?

Why remove the basis of his combos, pressure, and mixup? 3C is the obly move to keep people from just mashing AA during any mixup attempt. Just a loke build, but really hope this goes instantly. No lauger followup is worth losing our pressure cornerstone. -

Training stage has given me good results, but the stages aren't really active that much in thid game to seriously impact the game imo. Every stage cept training stage feels laggy to me -
I don't think its kinda fair to call out "Az" players, because so many people know nothinf about the game when they pick up the scrub trio: Ragna, Terumi, and Azrael.

I'd say part of the fun is knowing your favorite character is able to beat another character. Feeling accomplished I guess. Like, lets say your character has 25 out of 26 bad MUs, you think the people playin thid character are gonna have "fun"?

Any moves that cause a billion clashes or hits can slow the game down, along with multiple dustortion/OD effects. If Relius or Carl make a clash war happen with duo bios/rhapsody of memories, the game will slow down. For Relius' vinum glitch, you hit OD after landing a grounded vinum on a crouching opponent and it slows down veeeeeeery slowly, along with making the untech stupid lol

My question about Ara's OD, can you get a full combo and get someone cornered for a full curse combo? His combos are mostly biust safe as is, and getting a combo your opponent cant really do anything about until after you have them cornered and possibly missing 4k hp and being set up for another full curse combo sounds as rediculous as being sandwiched by Carl in Ex from someone who doesn't play Ara. -
But see, that's not really taking into consideration that combos do considerably less damage on average now. Like I said though, this is just how I see things, and I feel like reducing the damage AND the heat gain just felt in bad taste. I like everything but the heat gain (and the -meh- balance) in cP when compared to Ex.

Honestly, I feel like a big issue was the heat gain loss. It didn't really extend matches, didn't make them faster, it just limited the options of characters that relied on it for pressure/mixup/reversal/combos. Like how I remember Ragna needing RC's to get good combos off his effective footsie range. Or Tager... just in general. I have my own personal issues with the heat gain (<10% hp and only like 40 heat) so maybe its more of a personal distaste, but I still feel like some of the newer characters could benefit from more RCs/metered defensive options. Also, not saying people should get just free damage. Even though I just joined in Ex, it felt way more balanced imo (and this is when I was terrible at BB)

So 2A and 5A have the same total duration? Kinda see is as a somewhat important feature cuz 2A is a solid pressure tool (moreso than 5A) because of its self cancels. Stagger pressure seems to be the only viable pressure in this game unless you have a command grab or wear a vest with red hair and controls blood guy who can keep you blocking for forever.

One thing I could think of is that it could be his OD followup attack to lyra where she uses Nose's animation to bring them back toward you. Maybe an easier corner swap with more damage and better oki? Wish we could get an announcement video for all the new moves -

Id lauger. New follow-up. Discuss. NOW. What else could they follow up lauger with? I'm kinda hoping something that can be used midscreen, but I feel that would really ramp up our damage. 3.9k from lauger RC combos is pretty good as is. Or it could be something else entirely and might turn lauger into a pseudo-rekka with somethin like 236C>214A>xx. Anyway, made me pretty excited even if it wasnt necessarily what we wanted.
