Bdjdknrjdkdj every second of this MU feels like I'm being trolled by having bold letters shoved in my face saying "You can't do anything". Is there some trick to dealing with these movement based characters? I tried RYO's red light green light, I tried just trying to rush them, but I just can't catch her regardless of the method used. If you wait, she throws bowling balls, if you rush, she can just jump away from you. Maybe I just don't know what our round start options are, they all seem bad.

1. Wiff cancels 2. Reverse gatlings that shouldn't be there or don't make sense (lots of 6C>6B, or Koko j.B>j.A) 3. Characters with like 100 defensive options without even using system mechanics. Why in the world you'd make this such a pressure heavy game and give a few characters shit defensive options. 4. My personal fav, characters that I don't like. Remove them all. Dead serious but not really.

I feel like it was asked prior to 1.1 so I'll ask now. Do you guys go for ignis or damage optimization in the corner? During the Akon tourney, I was a bit rusty after not playing for a week, but lookin at some of the combos I used made me wonder if I was playing my best, what I should have focused more on. -
Firstly, I used the words "spamming throws" because I couldn't think of a better word for it. Anyway, whatever a smaller word is, when they use a move that's + on block or an air attack thrn go for a very obvious throw mixup. Also, I'd still consider that prediction rather than reaction, because a lot of characters have setups that they can use to punish those options that beat grabs. They could do an AA, do a dash>jump>air grab, or other character specific setups like Bullet/Tager AA grab. Anyway, its when people DON'T do these setups that it doesn't help me, and instead go for the grab setup evety time, because it gives me less to work around.

I think I use this mostly against characters with a DP, because they realize that their dp wont work on the setup, then they decide to start rolling away, which gets eaten, so then they now have to choose between delay or forward roll to not put you at advantage, which, like you said, we have other cheaper ways of calling out. However, it is great if you call out the round opener and end in 214B/j.214B, as you still have plenty of ignis at this point to get momentum started. -

It is a bit more expensive... but we have ignis-less combos now, so if you get them to block that mixup, it doesn't take much to confirm into 6B (unless it was 6A of course). Plus, it already sets up for 2C>6C>41236B if you catch a roll or rising dp. I'm just terrible at confirming into it. -

Well, if youre gonna answer I might as well ask :O What are your thoughts Lich on 22B+D oki after a 214B/j.214B ender? I've had a lot of success with it, as it baits and punishes most DP's and can prevent all wakeup options, and is mostly gapless from my experiences. Requires a small bit of attention to know when to press it to catch all options, similar to 214C oki, but after I use it, most people are afraid to try anything midscreen which helps me get away with 214C oki midscreen cuz they start instant teching. -
Nah, green throw spam bothers me too, because I can't break throws on reaction, and when they spam it emphasizes more on prediction. This is a problem to me because if they stick to grabs all the time, I can break them with little thought or effort, instead of reacting to mixup when its unexpected, helping me build a better defensive game. Though, if its amane or terumi, I just guess a throw is coming every 5-10 seconds.

I only started trying to 5B because he was using 6B every other round opener. I was thinking 5B could beat it out, but I kept getting CH'd for a 4k combo or burst.

I hope, cuz I don't have a replay and it looked like I was getting beat out of startup consistently.

This blew my mind cuz of frame data. How does his 13f 6B beat our 8f 5B from starting position? Maybe I just didn't press it at the right time, but this didn't make numerical sense to me. Even if the move didn't hit max range until the last active, that's still 11f. If the frame data is wrong (or a 1.1 buff/nerf) I'd be accepting of it, but this... i can't think of a way to describe my confusion

Ggs to lobby... but man do I hate this game that I can't stop playing. I thought stagger pressure was suppose to be meh in this BB because of pushback, yet I still see myself getting CH'd using 2A or 5B. Maybe its time for another break, cuz I've had such a meh night that my mind thinks Ragna is op.

If there's an aut seat-me function in lobby, its drivin me crazy. 3 different people in like 8 minutes, some wanting rematches, and none getting em. I dont mind players switching, but they're just there. Half the time I think I'm still playing the same person before I realize that I'm in a different MU.

Usually the sj.SM only came after she got a present or two out, so trying to get into a position to use j.236C was difficult. I've used it a few times though. And sadly its next to impossible to 22x her bombs because of the angle they fly at. I really wish at least something disappeared on block though, cuz getting into a situation where getting in is equivalent to giving them pressure is extremely frustrating. Why do ignis specials not finish if you block hmm? >:/ I think I have trouble on this MU entirely due tk bad luck... every time I'm low on ignis, Plat has something to make my life hell. Also didn't know tk.SM was a safejump, but that's just new knowledge to apply next time.

Double post, sorry, but anyway. So I managed to not get pelted in the face with the bat against a Plat today only to find the situation that I dunno whst to do in. So here's this situation. Full screen away, she sets down presents and manages to get bombs out. This is all the tools to keep me out and let her in, cuz for some reason, all of her projectiles stay active on block. Sadly, we don't have the same leisure, cuz while we can use 214A/B/C to close in, the second we block a present, she stops whatever she's doing. Do I really just have to wait to try and punish her advance when this happens? Cuz she can react to fullscreen zoning by sj.SM and just sit in thr sky while we waste ignis meter. I also found out, I expect most of my tools to work the same in every matchup instead of what actually works in the matchup.

So is ignis dying while in OD a glitch or just very... rare and annoying? I'd be in the middle of a n OD combo and ignis die right in the middle of it. -
So. I found out Litchi can Astral without being in stripper pole stance today. Guess "Screw the rules, I have tits." Just when you think you have a punish, she flies off the screen in midair.

I agree, we've had rewind since like the 60s, this shouldn't be too difficult. I often like to go back and take a look at odd moments (like when moves trade or get you out of a situation you didnt think it would (generally just helpful things to know). Also, what would be a good string to practice IBing on, and for what character? I can do it for almost only multi-hit moves, everything else is unreliable. -
It is kinda funny that there's more Makoto players than Bang players online, luckily I have both available usually. Combo drops on the last hit that will kill and losing. Regardless of reason, this is probably a really universal thing lol, but the reasons can just make it worse.

Ggs to... holy shit I already forgot who the Makoto was I just played Dx and sorry about that lag, I have no clue what happened. That one round I think it lagged though because you used that DD, its impossible for me to lagswitch even if I wanted to throw away my decency xD
