  1. Its a reactionary thing, all his D moves have a fair amount of startup and recovery, so if you see em glow gold, led ley and get a free punish. And I just noticed this and it has me a bit worried... why the hell is RYO only 16th dan in the recent footage? He was 19th before patch, and every person who was just as high then is just as high now. Did the backdash nerf hurt that bad or has RYO just been away lately?
  2. I need to utilize it better vs Tager, but its difficult when you can't find many good players with him. Kagura... I think he's fun as hell to play as, but man, he gets screwed by so many characters at neutral xD

  6. I wish I was a pro darts player, because with as awesome as new j.214B buff sounds, its hitboc is still somewhat narrow xD they can dash or backdash and make it wiff which makes me sad. Also, I can get people to block it all the time, and its suppose to be + on block. I keep getting mashed out of it Dx

  8. I dunno about bad damage when she can get her DD presents, get a random hit, pop OD, and spam presents for 4k+. Actually one plat got DD missiles, popped OD, and spammed missiles for a 6k combo.
  9. A DP would be a bit much for Relius, considering his ability to keep people away (save mobility based characters), but a higher horizontal hitbox for Vinum would be acceptable imo. The lauger thing came up because I was tryin to think if there would be a way to give 2C a better hitbox without it getting wonky looking. Now, another cool idea would be if 6B did a more uppercut like motion, somethin that can cover an angle like Azrael 5B. Wouldn't even need H-invul to give us a good AA considering the untechable time on CH. Trade would still give us time for oki or possibly combo and it only leads to 2.8k midscreen without meter.
  10. I just don't like it when you try and ley ley a move with big startup but low recovery because you have to meaty the iinvincibility... if that makes sense xD such as Valk 6C. Granted, this is actually 2C-able, but try and use it in the MU without getting screwed by wiff cancels xD. You know what I thought of that would be amazing? If we got a completely horizontal Lauger with H-invul. Just imagine having a giant green goblin fist erupt from the ground and wreck every area between your opponents thighs on their jump-in attempt.

  12. The only issue I'd have is you're giving up corner carry, and IMO, Relius' corner carry outside of FC combos is lacking compared to most other characters. A lot of characters seem like they have some move they can use from around 60-70% to the corner and get a full corner combo off it. Ecamples, Tao 6C, Rachel 5C, Makoto 6D (I know she's bad), Jin 214D~C. Pretty much people that have a move with wallstick.

  14. Good point. I really wish we could have hitbox data soon. Be nice to know if there's an extended hitbox on leis so you can spwce it out better for pressure resets.
  15. Despite not having a clue how to play against Tsubaki, seems like her issue is just bring denied at every turn via DPs and bullshit CP barrier pushback. Ark needs to buff the bottoms, I want fair games that people don't rage at.
  16. Couldn't we just update thr current combo thread? All we got was a relable gad leis>5B>5C or leis>3C combos unless we got silent nerfs to our glitch powers
  17. Erg, all you Tsubaki players badmouthin her DP have made me feel like I should never respect it and I end up eating it every time xP xD
  18. Even 4D can be hit out of though, so its like they split our AA in half. Good startup/hitbox goes to Ignis and moderate H-invul frames go to Relius.
  19. Well the more I look at frame data, the more I notice that most C oriented anti-airs start on frame 7 or later. We just happen to have a really bad hitbox.

  21. See, its a double-edged sword. Pop random astral on wakeup and it succeeds: opponent feels like the biggest idiot on the planet. Pop random astral on wakeup and it fails: you look like an idiot AND probably feel bad for doin such a douche move xD
  22. I'm genuinely frustrated by how bad 2C can be at times. Recently, I've had it wiff Ragna's BS and Noel's 2D (and always just... jump forward). Maybe I'm just not usin em right in these matchups, but having no move with a hitbox above Relius gets me killed x.x
  23. Going for a DD finisher intending to kill with it just to have them get back up with that nonexistent sliver of HP and end up losing the round for it. Yeah, I realize that I shouldn't just inherently lose from this, but I sorta freak out when it doesnt kill xD
  24. jc.OD combos give more damage for less meter. Its tough, but I've used it in a match (granted it was cut short since it was a 6A starter). This doesnt even end with OD tedo and gives 5.4k. Unburstable at 50% hp as well. 5B>3C>6D~jc.OD>2C>214A>66214B>665C>236C>214A>5C(1)>j.236C>j.214B>j.B>2C>6C>4D>632146D [5486/31%] If you dont have to worry about them bursting, you can do 3C>cOD into the same combo for 5.8k
  25. Yeah, IB works by releasing block then blocking within 5 frames of the next move (I think? 5 sounds right). You cant just tap barrier when they attack fo IB sadly. People say its best to start off IBing multi-hit moves (IBing is glorious against Nu sword spam super).
