Indeed ggs. I like how the lag acted in that last round where it was "well, I was just gonna drop your framerate, but now I'll keep that together and let your inputs get devoured by the lag monster". That one match where all I had to do was use tedo to win and lag killed it, leading to my loss was rage inducing, though I rage less when its againdt someone I know isn't an ass lol

So, I didn't think I had an issue with this MU today until I found out running like a complete bitch is a legit tactic with her. She doesn't need or deserve air movement. Her superjump height is just waaaaay to high and her moves recover quick enough that she can cover her way up, call staff, and make an approach for entirely free. Why did the patch just hit combo paths rather than fix a bullsbit neutral game like this? You be patient, you get pressured. You approach... lawl, that doesn't happen in this MU against a good Litchi. Is there anything you can do if you even block or make wiff her j.D? Seems like if she uses this at superjump height, you lose any chance of catching her and the game turns awful.

Since the school year has finally come to a close, maybe I'll stop getting bullshitted out of my Saturdays -_-. I long for the day that there's a female character I actually enjoy playing. Being the supreme rapist (Relius) and the ultimate scumbag to women (Kagura) is too much man. I need a woman in mah life here. Why can't I have a girl puppet character?

My absolute favorite oki after j.214B ender is 22BD. 22B will meaty, and if you do it early enough, 2D catches rolls. Its also dp safe from most DP's, I've had plat's bat and Izayoi's JP beat it, but thats still 24 cast members it works pleasantly on. Bad thing is that if you do it immediately, it will blue beat. However, this conditions them to respect midscreen oki into 214C, which is much more plus on block and leads to a good combo both OTG or regular. Also, for some reason, people forget 2D hits twice which leads to a free combo regardless. There's probably a better combo route for it, but even the simplest combo sets you up again (22B>2D>66B>j.B>dj.B>j.C>j.236C>j.214B

Honestly I feel the same way about every character. All of em have some flash, but none of the moves actually sound or look painful to me. However, I will say terumi's flexibility is impressive. Pause his 5C and look at how his leg is bent.

Anyway, my complaint wasn't about purple grabs themselves, but people who resort to them after losing to try and scrape that win xD

28 frames is half a second yo. Aaaaanyway, the reason why it got me was bcause say you're playing the dame.person for 5+ rounds, up till now did legitimate combos. Then in the next round its lije they handed the controller over to someone else. If I know they're willing to pink grab, then I have no issues, but when they never used a grab period prior to that match, I don't expect them to use purple grabs of all things xP

Its not like they used pink grabs the whole time. Just makes my respect for a good player go down when they only start using netplay tactics 4-5 matches in. If grabbing mid combo isn't somethin that comes naturally in the way you play, don't decide its your only way to win. You know, I'm glad this thread of pointless bitching exists xD.

I hope. When I was on vita extend, a Relius player only did this: 5B>6C>236C>lyra. When I first started playing, I thought this was bullshit, but now that I'm capable... I die a little inside when this player was in the top 100 relius players for vita.

Yeah, but if you tell someone new to watch RYO, and see him do xx into 236C without ignis and not get punished, we're gonna get a lot of bad potatos (joke about one of the first Relius players I had a mirror with in Ex) thinkin this will work all day and they'll never get punished for high damage.

Dont remind me of how bad Vinum is. I really wish they didn't go craxy and give every property to all of our projectile-ish moves. Also, this is just something thats been bothering me, since people dont use these that often, but how exactly does one punish CDT or Ara's reversal DD? CDT seems simpler since you can actually wait out the whole thing and watch for the animation, but I kinda widh I could just "-block>stuff for 3.5-6k-"

When I watch him, because people know who he is, he can get away with a loooooot of stupid stuff. Not saying its bad, but he's got people respecting him for days. Like [5B>5C>6C>41236B]xN is a legit thing for RYO cuz pdople are too afraid of what he -could- do. At least that's what I feel when I watch him play.

Of course, I'd probably forget half of the stuff to teach new players xD. Wonder if Lich is keepin any secret tech from us since he's always trollin around witht he US big shots.

It wasnt him, luckily. I can sometimes manage to win 1 out of 4 against him. I won 2/5 against this Plat... she's just my worst MU, and not even cuz of her mixup Dx. Also a really annoying setup I was in today was bubble>command grab after missiles. Bubble would catch you in jump startup, and if you didn't, command grab. Maybe I should backdash even though its sad now.
