  1. Out of curiosity (though I doubt I'd get feedback on this xD) does anyone have a hitbox that can tell me if there's a specific trick to doin 46D mid combo? On pad I could do it fine, but then I risk losing my better blocking ability (which cmon... carls got like 9.5k hp, if i cant block I die)
  2. Lucky, Errol just tells me I'm gimmicky -cry- Ggs to thr lobby and my vita peoples. Screw Kagura vs Bang, I suffered from getting chipped one time then he ran from me for those long 99... not seconds
  3. I might pick up Carmine, but I havnt watched enough videos to know what the characters play like (and honestly, even if I did, I can only tell what I like if I play it myself). Honestly ABA is the only GG character for me so when she wasnt announced for xrd. Can someone give me a quick descriptipn (one word is even fine) to describe the playstyles of the cast?
  4. I feel like regular and tk j.236C should get a bit of coverage, though only for MU specific and oki setup purposes. When I say MU specific, its interesting to know that if you're vs a Tager and they're tryin to get you with gadget finger RC grab shenanigans, you can use j.236C after teching his first grab and it'll give you a full combo and almost instant corner carry. Otherwise, tk j.236C is a situational anti-air. You can RC it into an airdash to get a full combo however, which you can either end (if you get to thr corner) with 236C oki or our standard 3C oki. 236C oki is nice against reversal happy characters except maybe Izayoi cuz her reversal super has stupid range. Situational, but nonetheless useful if you ever get these weird situations.
  5. You know, reading that made me curious. I know there's tiers in play here, but how close together are the tiers? Is it fairly well balanced or do S tiers steamroll everyone lower?

  7. Use it for RC paths since they can get you that delicious 3C oki and 4k damage, much more than our 3.2k off 5B

  11. Sorry for all my double posts (not like we have a lot of people here anyway, but still). Anyone think it'd be a good idea to make an Oki thread to give a thorough layout of all of Relius' oki options and what they beat/lose to?
  12. I think he's saying regardless of lag. Relius with ignis out, regardless of lag, has great blockstrings. In lag though, Jin can do 5B>5C>2D as much as he wants. Azrael can do 5B(B)>236A all the timr and Terumi can condtantly reset pressure with j.2D

  14. Right... looking back, I wanna punch myself for how stupid that question was lol. Guess my brain just sees tager and goes "oh, must be Tager exclusive".
  15. Tager specific isnt so Tager specific with dash 6C, though it still only works on 10 people. I've been able to do 5B>3C>236C>214A>22C>2D>66C>41236B>5B>5C>j.B>j.C>j.236C>j.214B for 3.5-3.7k on Tager, Relius, Hakumen, Mu Azrael, Bullet, Bang, Arakune, Valk... one more that escapes my mind currently. Now as for that oki setup... I'm lovin that. Its not tager specific is it? Anything to get someone hit sooner with Relius' mixup is great in my book.
  16. Only matches I dodge are Relius mirrors. Not sayin I don't win, me and Myoro have a pretty even record (think he's slightly ahead of me), but a game vs Relius tests your most basic of skills, there's not really a lot to it. Pretty much whoever does shit faster wins, and that's not really MU exp to me xP xD

  18. Throughout all my time playing as Relius, I've had people complain about the Relius MU, but I've never heard someone complain that Relius is so cheap or OP. People that bash on yo for yout main are bitches. I have played and will always play my well balanced Relius >:/
  19. I feel like he was talking from the Azrael's side of things, with describing j.D as a cross swipe and using 2C as an AA
  20. The magical teleporting properties of air grabs in this game. Give me back my ground throws and nerf the vertical distance on air throws dammit xP

  22. Its honestly the first time this has hit me, but the layout was N-R-C-wall. Carl backdashed while she did 46D from behind, and I was low on ignis (last combo ended with 3C>5D). I could've jumped back, but he could've gotten out. Thinking back, I may have been able to do an IAD j.A since its got a bazillion active frames, but once again, he could just 623D for full combo

Was curious since I was playin a friend last night, I sware he picks up any character and goes into "now I'm gonna mimic the top JP players" and proceeded to faceroll me like 10x in a row. I felt like every mach though i was respecting volante waaaay too much. Also, any ignis-less solution you have to beat his backdash+46D/623D wakeup options?

  25. Out of curiosity, how do you guys go about dealing with volante (421D)? I know there's several things you can do, like jump over it, block it, led ley it, let ignis take it, etc... but I'm not sure what Carl can do for each of these various ways. Im assuming using 6D to eat it is the safest, but ideas are good.
