I don't know how many new lurkers have popped up here, but i'm gonna be doing a stream on twitch for beginners tomorrow at 5PM. The games being covered will be Guilty Gear and UNIEL. Everyone is welcome to join in and chill, and I'll use the full extent of what I have to offer to answer any and all questions. If you can't make it i'll hold no grudge, but it'd be nice if you could share the stream or my twitter/fb post just to spread the word for those who might be interested.

GGs folks that came tonight. Nice to see more people popping up to play. Even better is that there are folks who go to TGZ who express interest in the game. Things are steadily looking better with each passing week.

Updates. Questionable updates. The only thing I really miss is the old color font. The rest is actually pretty nice.

Squish, you made it! Took you long enough. :p And as a response to that, I still use Facebook as my immediate contact. I'd be down for a line group though since it's just sitting in my app list not seeing much use outside of Grand Order. I save Skype mainly for voice chat and not much else. Since most here dont use facebook, and skype is kinda Meh, I vote for a line group.

I saw, and im happy. The buffs given to him justify him being a current poster boy. I might actually get higher than 3rd or 4th place once it drops at the ranbats. Everyone is looking good this update, even Akatsuki. That Cross Veil is doing wonders for everyone.

I'll be at TGZ at about 4'ish today if anyone wants to join me for some GG or UNIEL. Edi: closer to 5. had to run a few errands beforehand. Also, i'll be bringing Tekken along with me too if anyone's interested.

I digress. Has anyone found any more practical use for the Hemi Jack DJV setup?

Agreed. If Bedman could have any buffs it would be a force break that instantly places a DJV mark, and making the marks not get sniped by projectiles akin to ky's grinder. So many times have I had screen control until a stray projectile pops the mark I was using. :x

Really, all you have to do is zone Sol and Leo out with tasks and deja vu. It's actually really easy imo. Air DJV A, grounded DJV C, and 1/2/3 HS are killers to those two when zoning them out. The air DJV A covers grand viper and DJV C covers a good chunk of the screen with 1/2/3HS being used to poke from full screen. Sinusoidal Helios or burst knocks them away, then you're good to go again.

None of that's new, but still something that needs to be cemented from what I saw some other Bedmen struggling with as I watched other pools.

@NecroTheReaper Leo, Sol: if you let them in, you die. Faust: (at least I've found) if you challenge him in an air to air battle or let him start item pressure from full screen, you're gonna have a bad time Bedman: The mirror match is frustrating, but only if you allow yourself to be frustrated. Don't go into the mirror expecting to land fancy combos, since both players usually know the setups and how to avoid the most damaging parts of them. It'll play like Tekken where you thrive on stray hits until a good CH comes along. Chipp, Venom: if you aren't patient in your approach/defense, you'll go 0-2 real quick. That's what I got from that weekend. I wish I could've went against more of the cast. :/

@Filipinoman, are you the street fighter playing Filipinoman? O.O Regardless, welcome to the thread of one of the most unique/oddest characters in the cast. Ask anyone here for help and we'd be more than happy to assist in whatever questions you have. Just know that you now have to help come up with bed/sleep related puns now that you're here. [emoji14]

Piggy-backing on that, it gives people time to finish up whatever classes they have for the day or errands they may have prior. It's a pretty sweet deal to have that last slot for Xrd.

Never expected to get all the responses I've gotten so far from the Survey. Some of this is very insightful and useful for event planning in general. I'm more than willing to share it all with you later, but I'm going to give it some more time to amass since only a few days wouldn't give much to work with. If I could ask you all a quick favor when you have time: With EVO over, most of us are on cooldown from fighting games for now, or sick, and would rather chill out for a while. However there are some who's fire refuses to go out and have become more motivated than ever. Because of that, I've made a survey just to get a general feel on how people feel toward respective games, tournament planning, etc at this given moment. I'm sitting on a few ideas, and would just like some community feedback before I start going headfirst into a project that could potentially backfire if not planned properly.
