Hey Azure / and anyone else in Jacksonville.... not sure how often you guys play casuals (or if you even announce them), but I'd definitely like to meet up with you guys whenever you have your next casual gathering/session. if that's cool with you guys that is. I'm also still looking at going to Surge as well, so maybe I can meet some of you guys there as well. Though I'm still not 100% confirmed for that yet..

Yeah, I don't think that works with Flower.... But Zenia has so many options that you don't need to have access to that punishment loop. Not to mention, I think it only works if the opponent is hit standing (so if they're crouching or in the air, you're still gonna have to know other stuff anyway).

It'll either be Friday or Saturday, but I'll post up again when I know for sure what day I'll be there. And yeah like AlxIce said, there are some Orlando players who post on Homingcancel too.

I dunno... I haven't played with her in an actual match yet. But there are a few things that bother me with her. Like her jump is extremely slow and floaty, so I can just imagine that it'll be hard to jump out of the corner like most characters can. Then she has this really long delay time upon landing after an empty IAD. And her Air Dash itself has this really weird pause before you actually move anywhere. Also, once she's goes into the air, she can't suddenly get back to the ground like most characters who have a normal jump. She can use her 2,2 downward air dash.... but that's only in fly mode. I dunno, it just seems she has so many things that just keep me from truly wanting to play her. Maybe I'll change my mind later. As for C-v.Akiha, she just seems much more natural to me. Plus she laughs like Scharlachrot so I guess that's cool. :V

dammit I can't get past the first stage step. Edit : oh yeah Brandon, I actually might have some Melty competition within 2 hours of me... Now I can play this game finally. xD . Probably gonna be using C-V.Akiha though.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll look into making it to Storm Surge since I got a good amount of time in advance. I probably wouldn't be able to make all 3 days, but I can definitely manage to make it on a Friday or Saturday. Though I don't really play much KOFXIII or BB, but I wouldn't mind playing with you guys when you do. But If you guys are serious about some Melty, you got +1 player added to your scene. After this weekend, I'll see what I can do about making a trip down to Jacksonville if you guys are playing. And if you guys wanna learn Arcana, I can probably help. ........... Forgot I also play Tekken too. Can't believe I forgot that and it's like my second best game. :V Haven't played in a while though, so whatever.

What's up, I posted here a while back saying I was gonna be moving to GA (but I'm closer to FL in terms of fighting games). Just dropping by the thread, maybe I can hit up Jacksonville some time soon in February or something. Play some Melty, Arcana, Soul Calibur 5, if anyone's interested in playing. EDIT : Any notable tournament venues / arcades in the Jacksonville area that you guys go to play games?

I guess an hour and a half isn't too bad. Though I'm guessing you're much farther away when you're in school? A friend of mine, Karapalm (you guys might know him) said there are barely any Arcana players in GA, so I'm prolly out of luck for finding anyone to play against. Though I'm still hopeful for Melty.... EDIT : lol, we must have posted at the same time. xD In North Carolina. :P I'd be down to play some Melty though.

No Melty makes me sad. Though I might stop by Orlando for CEO this summer if they have Arcana 3 there, since I wouldn't mind making the drive for a major. But for casuals, it's so far.

Hey you guys. Gonna be moving to Savannah GA soon, and Jacksonville FL is like 2 hours away from me. Any Arcana / Melty that goes on around there? Hi M.Song, I remember you from the homingcancel forums. xD Titanium Beast lives in my state, and I think he's been taking a break from tournaments for a while now. So I'm almost positive that's not him.

Savannah. It's actually pretty far from everything (that I knows of) unfortunately for me. The closest major city to me is like Jacksonville..... which is in Florida. :V

Oh yeah Austin, forgot to post here. Looks like I might be in GA soon as well for Grad school. lol. The inablility to find a job that I truly like with a Bachelor's in Art finally sunk in for me... D: But yeah, I can somewhat relate to you guys about fighting games (maybe for slightly different reasons). Now with Grad school going on, and less people playing the games I truly enjoy playing, I just don't see the reason to really devote time to games now. I just feel that spending time on school, art projects, working out, and whatever else, is just a better use of my time. Like I still plan on attending tournaments, just so I can hang out with friends..... But as far as actually playing to win.... I think I'm done, Unless AH4 comes out, or the Melty Scene grows insanely huge or something like that. But yeah, in 2 weeks, I'll be leaving North Carolina.

I'm going to NEC for AH3 and Tekkens.
