If anyone is looking for some casuals this weekend, come out to KDP (Elite Zone, Skibo Rd, Fayettville, NC). There won't be an actual BB tournament though, but GG is being run... and supposedly a setup for Daemon Bride is going to be there as well. AH3 and Aquapazza will be there as well.

Yeah ggs you guys. Even with less setups/people, seemed like we played even longer... they actually had to tell me and Blake to hurry up because they were closing. xD And lol at people actually playing Dark Awake at WNB. Haven't seen that game in a while. :V

I've been thinking the same thing about special cancelling into kote. I guess they really did remove it. Good to know jC > jD > jC still works though, even if there are better options now. Thanks.

Anyone know if Litchi can still end her combos in jC (staffless) > jD? Ever since CP came out, I've seen a lot of jC > jump cancel > jD. Was also wondering if staffless 623D / 421D is no longer special cancellable?

I might be going to ReSe.... I don't know of any other NC Persona players that are guaranteed they are coming though. If you're familiar with Fayetteville (the Fort Bragg area)... There is a place called Elite Zone right off Skibo RD that you might want to check out. They also have a lot of 3s players in that area. They can be. Fortunately, I think most of what was annoying about them (like the tight links from 214AC and such) are gone in CP. Once that hits consoles, it's smooth shooting star wallsplat combos OD hype combos from here on out.

It was great meeting up with you guys last night. Can't wait til next time. And speaking of next time..... I've been talking to James on Facebook (the guy in charge of WNB) and he was saying that he would be adding BlazBlue as an official game on the tournament roster for his February 13th WNB.

I dunno of any people in the western area NC that play GG.... but Greensboro does have tournaments, so you might be able to schedule to meet people for GG casuals at one of those. since we do have GG players here. MadTeaParty and TITANIUMBEAST are going to be the closest to you (they live in Durham and Chapel Hill). Working on some animations lately, and I plan doing a small series of Blazblue animations. Thought I'd share in case any of guys wanna check them out, share ideas, or whatever. None of the animations will be very long, since it takes a lot of time to animate (most of these animations require 30-50 pictures that have to be sketched, outlined, colored, etc).. But hopefully you guys still like them. :) I'm currently working on an animation of Litchi. And after that, Izayoi. I think it's because general concepts behind meterless BBCSE combos still apply, added with the fact that you now have even more (or better) options for combos thanks to stuff like 4B into 41236D-A that help setup midscreen combos into corner. Then you have other misc buffs like 41236D-B has a lot more hitstun than CSE, new gatlings like 6D-623D, a new option off staffless 63214A, the addition OD (once people explore it more), etc. But I have no idea if they're actually easier, though having more combo options (not to mention slightly shorter combos) is a good sign that they could be. Also I see you're from Chapel Hill? You should come out to some sessions in Raleigh some time.

Yeah. If you like the new Makoto and how she plays, that's really all that matters. It's not like she can't win at all. A lot of you guys are over-thinking these tier listings more than the actual people who made them. Just play the game people.

Talked to Brent earlier, said he should be hosting games tomorrow (Tuesday). Probably going to Bali at 6:30, games at 7:30 like usual.
