Friday works for me as long as it's later in the day. I can't do Thursday at all. My general impression of AC+R so far is that it's going to be amazing assuming Koichi-Kliff and Kusoru-Justice don't ruin everything.

Guilty Gear needs to come out already. I want to be able to dustloop again. Also, I agree with everyone who thinks Chie is stupid. Meteors from full screen isn't completely safe, but it's close enough. The best way to deal with that move is to just kill Chie before she gets into awakening, which is easier said than done. My pressure game could also be way better, so I wouldn't recommend using me as a benchmark for how escapable Chie's pressure is. The fact that I need to use 2DD in blockstrings is a good example. That move is +62 on block and it's a frame trap off of multiple moves. It's basically an "I get a free air dash mixup" move. Also, 236A (1) OMC j.B is an instant overhead. I need to be exploiting that more. That said, Chie struggles in some matchups. I personally have trouble against Kanji especially, and I think Aigis gives Chie a lot of problems. Also, if a zoner can consistently kill Chie before she gets into awakening, it can really cripple her pretty badly.

Ranked is indicating that my Chie is getting better. I refuse to believe it, though. Online play always lies. I'd like to be down for casuals this Saturday, but I'm probably going to be pretty busy this weekend. I'll try to make an appearance anyway, though.

From the location tests I wondered if +R secretly meant +#Reload, and that seems to be the case. H Fafnir staggering is going to take some getting used to. Not sure how useful it will be yet.

We'll see if I can actually manage to scrape up some free time. I typically have next to none during the week. =/

GGs to everyone, especially the people who bodied me; it was good to finally see Ted again, and I can see why you guys like Venesias so much. Ted, I will get around to playing Xenosaga eventually. I've been meaning to go back to it anyway; I want to see how many philosophy references I can catch. I think I needed to be a lot more patient against that Kanji. I got caught by practically every DP.

I can bring my console as well if it's needed. I don't have an hdmi connector, though (if that's even relevant), because I play on CRT anyway (boo). I found taking exams with dead bodies in the room rather surreal when I took anatomy. Particularly when the test is on the dead bodies themselves.

I'm pretty busy these days, but I think I should be able to make an appearance. I'm probably going to need a break by Friday anyway.

Tick throws are gimmicks? Oh, wait, the wide throw break window, of course. Suffice to say, if I could consistently get a feared opponent to respect Liz while running tick throw setups, I would play her. Probably. The damn Thanatos throw is so reactable. Much easier to react to than a throw break.

My Elizabeth is on the back burner for now. Chie fits my play style much better. I mostly just dislike the amount of gimmicky stuff Elizabeth relies on for her mixup game. That and a few matchups are obnoxious (Yukiko, Yosuke). I haven't dropped Elizabeth entirely, but I'm going to be focusing more on Chie for the time being.

GGs to everyone! Marvin and Justin both played great, grats to them for taking 1st and 2nd. Teddie looks like a pretty bad matchup for Yu but I thought Justin handled it really well. Shout outs to the people who kicked my ass on stream. My Chie still needs a lot of work. Just wish I could've gotten more games in. Oh well.

My sister decided to show up in town today without any warning, so my plans are suddenly up in the air. I should still be going to the Hazbats, but I may not be able to stick around much after. That said, I probably won't be leaving until later, like 3 pm. Got stuff to do beforehand.

Thanks, that would be great. I should have access to a car, but, again, thanks. If you're transporting anything (like a set up and a TV), though, and want some help, I'd be happy to help out. Might even be easier for me, actually, since then I wouldn't have to worry about finding the place, haha.

I haven't heard any new GG info, sadly. I'm still hype for it anyway, though. Also, I've had a slight change of heart: if someone is willing to lend me an Xbox pad tomorrow, then I am willing to show up and get my ass kicked. I mostly just want to get more casuals in.

From the Hazbats tournament rules: So, yeah, you can switch characters if you lose. It also should not matter what character you start a match with. But if you start a match with a character and win the first set with him/her, you have to keep using that character. S'about it, I think. On a somewhat related note, I'm probably not going to be participating in the tournament because of the "Will be played on Xbox 360" thing. I'm getting a converter, but I won't have it on time, and I'm not sure I want to bum an Xbox pad from someone the whole time, much less play a tournament on a pad I can't consistently dash with.

Looks like the Xtokki 360 Converter is it. Except that it's PS2 -> 360, not PS3. Which is actually better in my opinion. PS2 pads (and PS1 pads) are pretty cheap last time I checked, and good.

Dipstick mentioned to me that there's supposed to be a pretty good PS3 to 360 converter. I'll have to remember to ask him which one it is again when I have time; I have terrible memory about these things.

I'm not going to the tournament, but I was going to try to make it to Dipstick's since I think I told him I'd try to make it again this week. If something doesn't work out with that, though, I'll be down. Gotta get games in somehow.

I agree with Carlos' sentiments on PS3 (ugh Xbox pads). Does it have to be the same day, though? Seems like it could be one day off and not force people to choose between one and the other, in case there's anyone who wants to go to both.

I didn't even realize there was a tournament. I might've been there otherwise, but I doubt I would've made it very far.

Old MB group? Would that be you, Choco, Dippy (sp?), and H-F Blade? Or is Tempered in there somewhere? Anyway, if you're playing P4A and don't mind one more person, just let me know when/where and I'd be happy to join.
