GGs Cola! Your Venom is as tough as ever. And sorry I couldn't stick around for long; I just had stuff to do.
-
Depends on height and spacing, really. There are times when it's not possible to just do j.Ds, especially against lighter characters or characters with screwy air hitboxes (like Sol). Other times I'm not entirely sure I can get the j.D-D reps for whatever reason, so I go for the easier variation, as I tend to think that not dropping the combo and getting the knockdown is usually worth a relatively small loss in damage.

GGs to Unicorn, Janiekenzu, roland, and anyone else I played. Unicorn - It has been a while, and Bridget is still tough. =)

Pretty much like you'd dustloop any other lightweight. She's easier than some, imho. If she's low enough, you can sometimes get away with j.D-D x2-3, no dashing needed (running usually causes me to drop it, actually). Just makes sure you wait a moment before each relaunch to make sure she doesn't get knocked too high. The only really reliable place I've found for this one is after BR RC in the corner, or maybe a WT into the corner. You can also do j.D-D jc (pause) j.D, then dash jump into an air combo finisher. I usually see this done dashed after a WT midscreen or after a WT in the corner, then run under and do 5H/2H into it. The timing's pretty tricky midscreen, though -- it's probably easier to just do GF FRC BB loop or dashing j.SD jc j.SD VV on her. If she's higher up, sj.D-Dx1-2, then an air combo finisher. You might meed to dash to get the ending VV to connect. I find one sj.D-D to generally be considerably easier and more applicable than two, as a second rep can leave her a bit too high. Or you can do the j.D jc (pause) j.SD relaunch on her. This one and the single super jumped one seem the most practical. The others are much more situational.

GGs to Ruinz! Man, Anji's air throw is scary, and I think you might have the best Testament online right now. I also need more Slayer practice; I'm never quite sure where to escape his pressure. Also, I don't think I've seen your Johnny before; you play him well.

I'd be down for this. =D Not that that's any surprise, but hey. -
GGs to Arancia, Dr. Patient, Majinken, Janiekenzu, Roland714, VR, Izule, and anyone else I've played recently. Izule - I've probably said this before, but you play a lot of characters well. Your Faust in particular seems to give me trouble.
-
GGs to ChainsawGuitar, Plat, I-Robot, FonShaolin, Majinken, Izule, NEO_Jazzy, the potemkin, and anyone else I played recently. Izule - Really nice Zappa. the potemkin - I swear, I will never be good at dealing with Pot online. I just can't react to what I'm used to reacting to. It would probably also help if I stopped dropping combos, hitting the wrong moves, and screwing up VV or Fafnir inputs. =/

GGs to Noj, Shaffler, Jack, the potemkin, Plat, and anyone else I've played recently. Noj - If I think you're picking bad times to gold burst, is it worse that I kept getting hit by them? =P

GGs to everyone yesterday, and thanks to Dan for hosting! Hey, don't sell yourselves short! I think of everyone I played yesterday, you and your sister gave me the most trouble. Particularly your Eddie and Ky and your sister's Order-Sol; I still need to get better at dealing with Eddie and Ky's footsie games, and I'm still getting used to the Order-Sol matchup. Ryuuka - Sorry I didn't get to play you before I left, after you specifically asked to play me. We'll get some games in next time, I promise. -

I'll also try and make it to this. Not entirely sure if I can yet, but I think I should be able to. -
GGs to the Patient, bagandscalpel, RalphMacchio, and anyone else I played recently. bagandscalpel - Sorry for playing only one game. It was just too laggy. =/ RalphMacchio - It's been a while since I had such a long, lag-free set of matches. We should try delay 2 sometime; it looks like we may have low enough ping. =)

There's also Koro-Chan and NOB. I'd probably still include Isa in the top 10, despite him switching to Eddie, since I saw a vid from a few months ago of his Sol and it was still damn good. As for the order, I wouldn't worry about it too much. 012, Roi, Kishitaka, and Isa are all very good. Koro-Chan is good as well, and both Ogiwara and NOB also seem pretty solid to me, but I can't really comment on Yume since I haven't seen many of his vids. PC also used to be one of the best, but I'm not sure where to place him anymore because it's been a while since I've seen him play. I've also never really kept up that well with match vids, so I'm undoubtedly missing stuff, and I've got little to no knowledge about any Sol players outside of Japan.

I haven't had a chance to double check with AC yet, but at first glance, 6H gatlings to 2D, and I don't think 2D gatlings to anything. Also, j.D doesn't gatling into itself, it links. -

There's the Euphoria gaming tournament in Peoria today. Some of us are going to that. I think me, Ruben, Vince, and Zeromus are all going, but I'm not sure who else is. GGs! BBB is too much fun. I need to find more ways to chain supers into supers. =P Also, GGs to Cedric (sp?) for utterly destroying my poor Tsubaki in BB. Not sure if he checks dustloop or not, but thought I'd post anyway, just in case. -

Looks like it starts with MB at 1:00, then GG at 2:30. BB isn't until 7. Link to the event thread -

GGs to everyone yesterday! Ruben - Thanks for having me over again. I'm not sure what to do against Mu and Lambda except rushdown, rushdown, rushdown. Ray - Nice A.B.A.! I need to get better at that matchup. And I really don't think Baiken vs. Millia is as bad as you think. Millia's too good at baiting and punishing counters and throwing Baiken for the matchup to be too much in Baiken's favor. Looking at the matchup threads, the general consensus from the better players seems to be something around even -- if either character gets their momentum going, they can win (as with so many GG matches). Vince - I think I might have been wrong about Eddie being able to poke out of WT setups. For some reason, I was thinking I could WT you on the 5th frame after blockstun, which would beat your 5f poke, but I think all characters have 5 frames of throw invulnerability after leaving blockstun, so I don't think I can WT you until frame 6. So, you can poke out of a perfectly timed WT setup; it's just 1f timing. Sorry about the misinformation. =/ -

Looks like I'll be on campus again tomorrow, so I'll try and stop by PCP. Not entirely sure when I'll get there, but I'm guessing it'll be around 3 pm. And just to make sure I've got the right place, it's north of the Chuck Box on 7th and Forest, right? -
GGs to Ruinz and sTriFe! Ruinz - Fafnir is a strange move, but it seems to be fairly effective against Pot. sTriFe - Been a while. Tough Ky, just as I recall. I need to get better at IBing Ky's 6K so I can 1F jump out of your pressure strings.

Heh, Ruben beat me to it. I think I could probably get there some time around 3. Also, while I'm thinking of it: Ray, it turns out I was completely wrong about F-Aoko's orbs on oki. They do meaty pretty much everyone and can't be crouched under (I think the only exceptions are the Nekos, but I could be mistaken). Apparently I just assumed, which I really shouldn't do with MBAA since I don't know that much about the game. It still doesn't seem to work as a crossup, though--looks like it doesn't matter which way your opponent is holding; they'll still block it. Not quite sure why, or if I'm just screwing something up.
