There's a huge gray area when it comes to this crap...
Some random week 1 player who is the best on their block (aka Random Scrub #285), will come on the forums expressing their opinion even though they've:
1). Only played the game for a couple days.
2). Only played against a handful of people.
3). Only play online.
4). Never actually played anyone good.
(A combination of a few, or you can just pick one).
Because of this they're posts are 'stupid' and naive. They don't see that what they're saying is completely wrong.
Do we hold it against them for being obliviously stupid, or do we ban them?
I hate to bring this up again, but ZhePrime (or w/e their name is) was a good example when Zidane was trying to explain why Hazama is a good character. He might not be top3 for some people, but that's a completely different argument. He didn't understand that Hazama had really good normals, mix-up, space control and movement. Even though one of the best BB players in the US was giving him straight, true, thought out answers, he still wouldn't grind it into his thick skull. So what do you do? Ban someone because their 'opinion' differs even though their spouting non-sense?
Mods need to man up and not be scared to ban (or at least WARN) people that don't listen to reason. Get rid of the gray area and stop being lenient. BB general is the place for random crap. Keep the Gameplay and Character forums clean.
