  1. These threads are good... they're always filled with idiots that obviously have no idea what they're talking about. If you're going to try and say something supporting your opinion, before you press 'submit' or 'post quick reply', take a couple seconds and FUCKING READ your thoughts that you just typed. If anyone says what Zidane says is wrong, you're only making yourself look more like an idiot. He understands the game on a level that you wish you did. Stop making yourself look like a scrub by not using common sense when it comes to BB and fighting games in general. Also, I wouldn't compare Jin to Lambda but I will tell you why she is in her respected tier: Bang walks over her: nails destroy her neutral game, she has no solid reversal to get out of his mixup/pressure/oki game, and since she can't keep him away (he rapes her up close) it only makes matters worse. Litchi walks all over her: same reasons as above but probably worse... staff/fastfall ruins her neutral game and you only need to get hit 2-3 times. Hazama walks all over her: chains destroy her neutral game and his normals rape her. He's a combination of Bang and Litchi. Ragna is tough but do-able: keeping him out can be a guessing games at times, but if you condition him to take chances you can win. Once he's in his normals walk all over her... 2-3 combos and you're dead. Hakumen is doable: DON'T GET HIT. He can just turtle and make the next hit hurt... a lot. Tao is just better all around except for not having a reversal, but Lambda just has a hard time getting in the hits (in Tao vs. Lambda that is). Arakune: not a bad matchup for Lambda but his damage output is far beyond Lambda's, keeping him higher up the list. Jin: his average damage isn't that great but he makes up for it by being good all-around. He's about as average as they come. And this is where Lambda is, but for different reasons. She gets wrecked by characters that have an easy time getting in (or can just turtle), and her damage relies on where you are in the stage. Her good damage starters are generally risky and her mixup is mediocre. Her strength is trying to force opponents to make bad decisions and then capitalizing. She's 1/2 way between an awesome character and a shitty one. She's better than everyone below her, even with Jin, but worse than everyone above her, even if by just a smidge. If that doesn't help explain why I don't know what will.
  2. Blocking with 2A... gdlk.
  3. Nah, I didn't catch what ZONG said. Sounds awesome though. You're doing good with the General forums though, but things just get de-railed so fast now... BlazBlue has brought a whole new breed of mindlessness to this forum. Thanks again.

  4. Thanks Circ. I wasn't trying to be an asshole or anything, but when threads like that are allowed it only turns into a troll fest and gets filled with idiotic complaints.

  5. Sadness confirm this scrub.
  6. I have a wedding Saturday. And STFU Nas. Scrub. Gimme my PS3 back.
  7. So wait, all I gotta do is: -DP everything he does because his pressure is bad -Beat his chains with steins because they can hit everywhere on the screen instantly -Block his really crappy safe mixup -Bait his awful reversals ... and I'm good to go? Thanks for the good advice guys.
  8. Fuck Slayer. He's ruined you.
  9. It's never fun 'meeting' them.
  10. No one goes to BB tournaments. No one takes this game seriously. Except for LK.
  11. 3C > A Pit > 5Cx8 > 6C > 236C > Dash > 5Cx8 > 6C > (Dash) > 2DD > Kure > 5DD relaunch does 4.7k, builds more meter, and is easier. Has anyone been able to do 4B > 6A > Kure > 236C? I can't get the 236C to connect. Do you have to delay the 5DD or something?
  12. Damn, he's that scared of your Carl? At this point I like Biscuits over your Carl.
  13. BB Teams will be 2v2. I said this in the second post. Are people really that lazy?
  14. Things go late in the day on Sunday, but it's usually nothing 'important'. You're literally a stone throw away from the airport, so I would just leave Sunday night (7-8ish). Doomie is now known as Tim.
  15. You can use my laptop, but having your own always helps.
  16. Are you saying we should run it on Saturday or are you saying no one will enter GG like at Summer Jam? D: Saturday probably won't happen unless someone else wants to take responsibility for it... And thanks BigE, I'll bring an ethernet extension just in case.
  17. I'm in there BigE, I'll help you run GG and BB as always. Make BB Teams 2v2 with a 20$ entry per team. Make BB Singles 10$ per person. Make GG singles entry 10$ and put it on Sunday. BigE, if it's OK with you I'd like to reserve the area by the ethernet cable you had last time so that I could stream BB/GG/Melty?
  18. Against Slayer learn to react to: command throw, regular throw, and 6K mixups. Get used to blocking and try not to approach from the air a lot. Learn to parry. 5K and f.S are both good pokes in this matchup. I dunno what else to say other than this matchup sucks. Don't get hit. Against Sol learn to parry: you can parry Bandit Revolver and Bandit Bringer on reaction. 6P beats Riot Stomp clean. His sword doesn't extend his hitbox, so his 2S will shut down your ground game and his 2D will go under puffball, so you have to feel him out and react to his offense. 2H is an OK anti-air against his j.H. His 5K will beat all of your air normals clean so try to not jump at him too much. Just wait for him to use an unsafe move and punish him hard for it. Also learn his command throw mixups and adjust to them. As far as wall loops go, you have to feel them out because you're going to have different starters at different heights, but if I wanted someone to learn the loop I would say learn the loop off of a FB puff ball near the corner. Practice the loop on the characters you play against the most to get used to their hitbox and gravity.
  19. Josh feelin himself after beating SteveH in winners.
  20. Goryus mashes super all the time. Look at how good he is. Your best options at the start of a round are airdash back or just sit there an block.
  21. Thanks again Eric for running another awesome tournament, and thanks to anyone that came out to play. I'm sorry GG and BB teams weren't run but not enough people would have entered. Also, sorry HD Cloud for messing up your place in the brackets. It was probably a mistake on my end. NEC will be announced soon people! HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
